Ko e Hū Lototoʻa Atu ki he ʻAfioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá

ʻI hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻo e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí ʻe malava ke mou fakatupulaki ai homou lototoʻa fakalaumālié kapau te mou loto fiemālie ke fanongo pea ngāue.

Te ke fakafuofuaʻi fēfē ho lototoʻa fakalaumālie ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá mei he 1 ki he 10? ʻOkú ke maʻu nai ha fakamoʻoni fakatāutaha ʻoku feʻunga hoʻo ngaahi ngāue ʻi hoʻo hoko ko e mēmipa ʻo e Siasí ke maʻu ai e moʻui taʻengatá? Te ke lava nai ke pehē ʻoku hōifua ʻa e Tamai Hēvaní kiate koe?

ʻOku ʻilo ʻe he filí ko e tui kia Kalaisí—ʻa e tui ʻokú ne ʻomi hokohoko ʻa e ngaahi ʻaloʻofa ongongofuá mo e mana lalahí—ʻoku fehokotaki ia mo ha loto-falala fakatāutaha ʻoku mou vilitaki ke fili ki he totonú.

Kapau te mou tuku e ngaahi loi ko ʻení ke ne fakatupu ha ongoʻi taʻe taau ʻiate kimoutolu, he ʻikai lava ke ke hū lototoʻa atu ai ki he ʻafioʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá. Ko e hā pē ha meʻa ʻoku mou fai, pe lotua, pe ʻamanaki lelei ʻoku mou maʻu ki ha mana, ʻe ʻi ai maʻu pē ha loto veiveiua feʻunga ke ne fakaʻauha māmālie hoʻomou tuí—ʻo ʻikai ko hoʻomou tui pē ki he ʻOtuá, ka ko hoʻomou loto-falala kiate kimoutolú. ʻOku ʻikai fakafiefia pe moʻui lelei hono moʻui ʻaki ʻo e ongoongoleleí ʻi he foungá ni.

Tatau ai pē pe ko e hā e fakafuofua mei he 1 ki he 10, ka ʻi hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻo e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí ʻe malava ke mou fakatupulaki hoʻomou loto-falala fakalaumālié kapau te mou loto fiemālie ke fanongo pea ngāue. Te u lea hangatonu pē, ʻi he fakaʻamu ke langaki hake kae ʻikai ke fakatupu lotomamahi.

1. Fatongia ʻaki hoʻo lelei fakalaumālié. Tuku hono tukuakiʻi e niʻihi kehé pe tūkungá, tuku e tuli tonuhiá, mo e kumi ʻuhinga ki he ʻikai ke ke vilitaki kakato ke talangofuá. Tali ʻokú ke “tauʻatāina … ʻo fakatatau ki he kakanó” pea “tauʻatāina ke fili ʻa e tauʻatāiná mo e moʻui taʻengatá” (2 Nīfai 2:27). ʻOku ʻafioʻi lelei ʻe he ʻEikí ho tūkungá, ka ʻokú Ne toe ʻafioʻi lelei foki pe ko hoʻo fili pē ia ʻaʻau ke ʻoua ʻe moʻui ʻaki e ongoongoleleí. Kapau ko e tuʻungá ia, faitotonu feʻunga ke vete ia, pea fāifeinga ke haohaoa ʻi ho ngaahi tūkungá. ʻOku tupulaki ʻa e loto-falala fakalaumālié ʻi hoʻo fatongia ʻaki hoʻo lelei fakalaumālié ʻaki hono fakaʻaongaʻi fakaʻaho ʻa e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí.

2. Fatongia ʻaki hoʻo lelei fakatuʻasinó. Ko hoʻo moʻuí ʻa ho sinó mo e laumālié (vakai, T&F 88:15). ʻOku faʻa hoko ha fepaki fakalaumālie ʻi hono kai taʻetokangaʻi e sinó, ʻa ia ko ha temipalé, pea holo ʻete fakaʻapaʻapaʻi kitá. Kapau ʻoku ʻikai ke ke moʻui lelei, kapau ʻoku ʻikai ke ke fiemālie ki ho sinó pea lava ke ke fai ha meʻa ki ai, fai leva ia! Naʻe akoʻi ʻe ʻEletā Lāsolo M. Nalesoni ʻoku totonu ke tau “ngaohi hotau sinó ko hotau temipale” pea ʻoku totonu ke tau “taʻotaʻofi hotau uʻá pea fakamālohisino ke moʻui lelei fakaesino” (“We Are Children of God,” Liahona, Jan. 1999, 103).

Kuo akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Poiti K. Peeka “ʻoku fakatahaʻi hotau laumālié mo hotau sinó ʻi ha founga ʻoku hoko ai hotau sinó ko ha meʻangāue ʻa hotau ʻatamaí mo e fakavaʻe hotau ʻulungāngá” (“The Instrument of Your Mind and the Foundation of Your Character,” [Church Educational System fireside, Feb. 2, 2003], 2; speeches.byu.edu). Kapau ʻokú ke malava fakatuʻasino, fili he ʻahó ni ke ke mapuleʻi ho sinó pea kamata ha polokalama fakamālohisino taimi lōloa ʻoku feʻunga mo e meʻa ʻokú ke malavá, pea fakataha mo ha meʻakai moʻui lelei ange. ʻOku tupulaki ʻa e loto-falala fakalaumālié ʻi he taimi ʻoku hanga ai ho laumālié, ʻi he tokoni ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻo ne puleʻi e tangata pe fefine fakaekakanó.

3. Tali loto-fiemālie, ʻa e talangofua kakató ko ha konga hoʻo moʻuí. ʻIloʻi he ʻikai lava ke ke ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá kae ʻikai ʻofa ʻi Heʻene ngaahi fekaú. ʻOku mahino mo faingofua ʻa e tuʻunga moʻui ʻa e Fakamoʻuí: “Kapau ʻoku mou ʻofa kiate au, fai ʻeku ngaahi fekaú” (Sione 14:15). ʻOku ʻomi ʻe he talangofua pē ki he niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi fekaú ha niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi tāpuakí, pea ko hono fili ko ia ki he koví kae ʻikai ko e meʻa ʻoku kovi angé, ʻoku kei fili hala pē ia. He ʻikai lava ke ke mamata ʻi ha faiva kovi pea ʻamanaki ke ongoʻi angamaʻa koeʻuhí naʻe ʻikai te ke mamata ʻi ha faiva kovi ʻaupito. ʻOku ʻikai fakatonuhiaʻi ʻe he tauhi faivelenga ha niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi fekaú hono liʻaki ʻo e ngaahi fekau kehé. Naʻe pehē ʻe ʻĒpalahame Linikoni: “ʻI heʻeku faileleí, ʻoku ou ongoʻi lelei. ʻI heʻeku faikoví, ʻoku ou ongoʻi kovi” (ʻi he William Henry Herndon and Jesse William Weik, Herndon’s Lincoln: The True Story of a Great Life, 3 vols. [1890], 3:439).

Fakahoko foki e meʻa leleí ʻi he ʻuhinga lelei. ʻOku ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻEikí, ʻa ia ʻokú Ne “fie maʻu ʻa e loto mo e ʻatamai fie faí” (T&F 64:34) peá Ne “ʻafioʻi ʻa e ngaahi fakakaukau mo e ngaahi holi ʻo e lotó” (T&F 33:1), ʻa e ʻuhinga hoʻo ʻalu ki he lotú, ʻo tatau ai pē pe ko hoʻo maʻulotu pē pe moihū kakato ai. He ʻikai lava ke ke hiva ʻi he Sāpaté, “Pāpilone, Pāpilone, nofo ā koe” hili iá peá ke fekumi pe tali ke mo feʻao hili ha ngaahi momeniti mei ai (“ʻA Kimoutolu ʻa e Kau Faifekau,” Ngaahi Himí, fika 202). Manatuʻi kuo teʻeki ai hoko ʻa e fakafiefiemālie ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakalaumālié ko ha fiefia. Tuku ke hoko e Siasí mo e ongoongolelei kuo fakafoki maí ko ho moʻuí kotoa, kae ʻikai ko ha konga pē hoʻo moʻui fakasōsialé. Ko hono fili ʻa ia te ke tauhí ʻe hoko pē ia ko e lea ʻataʻatā kae ʻoua kuó ke moʻui fakatatau ki ai. (vakai, Sōsiua 24:15). ʻOku tupulaki ʻa e loto-falala fakalaumālié ʻi hoʻo vilitaki moʻoní, ʻi he ngaahi ʻuhinga totonú, ke moʻui māʻoniʻoni, neongo hoʻo ngaahi tōnounoú!

4. Hoko moʻoni ʻo lelei ʻaupito ʻi he fakatomala kakato mo vavé. Koeʻuhí ʻoku ʻaonga ʻaupito e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻoku totonu ke ke fakaʻaongaʻi ia ʻi he taimi kotoa pē, he ʻoku ʻikai pē ʻosi ia ha taimi. Tali ʻa e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí mo e fakatomalá ko ha meʻa ke ke talitali lelei mo fakaʻaongaʻi fakaʻaho ʻo fakatatau ki he tuʻutuʻuni ʻa e Toketā Māʻongoʻongá. ʻI hono fai iá, tokanga ki he ʻahiʻahi ke fakatoloí, pea ʻoua te ke ʻamanaki ʻe poupouʻi koe ʻe he māmaní. Tukutaha hoʻo tokangá ki he Fakamoʻuí, tokanga angé ki Heʻene fakakaukau kiate koé, pea tuku ke muimui mai e ngaahi olá. ʻOku tupulaki e loto-falala fakalaumālié ʻi hoʻo fakatomala loto-fiemālie mo fiefia ʻi he taimi pē ko iá mei ha angahala lahi mo siʻisiʻi fakatouʻosi ʻi hono fakaʻaongaʻi e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí.

5. Hoko ʻo lelei moʻoni ʻi he faʻa fakamolemolé. “Ko au, ko e ʻEikí, te u fakamolemoleʻi ʻa ia ʻoku ou loto ke fakamolemoleʻí, ka ʻoku ʻekeʻi meiate kimoutolu ʻa hoʻomou fakamolemoleʻi ʻa e kakai kotoa pē” (T&F 64:10). Fakamolemoleʻi e tokotaha kotoa pē, ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē, ʻi he taimi kotoa, pe feinga ke fai ia, ʻo fakaʻatā ai e faʻa fakamolemolé ki hoʻo moʻuí. ʻOua ʻe tukulotoʻi e ʻitá, pe ʻita vave, kae fakamolemole mo fakangaloʻi vave, pea ʻoua te ke fakakaukau ʻokú ke hao mei he fekau ko ʻení. ʻOku tupulaki e lototoʻa fakalaumālié ʻi hoʻo ʻiloʻi ʻoku ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻoku ʻikai ke ke loto ʻita ki ha taha.

6. Tali ʻa e ngaahi ʻahiʻahí, fakafeʻātungiá, mo e “fakaʻohovalé” ko ha konga ʻo hoʻo aʻusia fakamatelié. Manatuʻi ʻokú ke ʻi hení ke ʻahiʻahiʻi mo siviʻi, “ke vakai pe te [ke] fai ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻe fekau ʻe he ʻEikí ko [ho] ʻOtuá kiate [koé]” (ʻĒpalahame 3:25)—pea te u tānaki atu, “ʻi he ngaahi tūkunga kotoa pē.” ʻI he hokosia e ngaahi ʻahiʻahai ko ʻení, ʻoku kamata fakamafola ʻe he kau muimui ʻo e filí naʻá ke fai ha meʻa hala, pea ko ha tautea ʻeni, ko ha fakaʻilonga ʻoku ʻikai ʻofa ʻa e Tamai Hēvaní ʻiate koe. Tukunoaʻi ia! Feinga ke fakamālohiʻi koe ke ke malimali, hanga hake ki he langí pea pehē, “ʻOku mahino ia kiate au, ʻEiki, ʻoku ou ʻiloʻi ia. Ko ha taimi ke ʻahiʻahiʻi ai au, ʻikai ko ia?” Pea ngāue fakataha mo Ia ke kātekina lelei ki he ngataʻangá. ʻOku tupulaki ʻa e lototoʻa fakalaumālié ʻi hoʻo tali ko ia “ʻoku faʻa fakaʻatā e ngaahi ʻahiʻahí mo e faingataʻá ki [hoʻo moʻuí] koeʻuhí ʻoku totonu e meʻa ʻokú [ke] faí” (Glenn L. Pace, “Crying with the Saints” [Brigham Young University devotional, Dec. 13, 1987], 2; tānaki atu e fakamamafá; speeches.byu.edu).

Lolotonga ʻeku tokangaʻi ʻa e Misiona ʻIukuleini Kiví, naʻá ku fehuʻi ki ha taha ʻo ʻeku kau sisitā faivelengá pe ko e hā ʻokú ne tukuhifo ai pē iá, mo fakaangaʻi lahi pē ia he fanga kiʻi meʻa īkí? Naʻe hoko ʻene talí ko ha sīpinga moʻoni ʻo ha taha ʻoku fakafanongo ki he ngaahi leʻo halá ʻi heʻene tali mai, “Koeʻuhí ke ʻoua naʻa toki talamai ia ʻe ha taha.”

ʻE kāinga, ko ʻeku faleʻi ki he faifekau ko ʻení ʻa ʻeku faleʻi kiate kimoutolú: ʻiloʻi pea fehangahangai mo ho ngaahi vaivaiʻangá, kae ʻoua naʻá ke taʻe ngāue koeʻuhí ko kinautolu, he te ke feʻao mo e niʻihi ʻo kinautolu kae ʻoua kuó ke mavahe mei he moʻuí ni. Tatau ai pē pe ko e hā ho tuʻunga lolotongá, ko e momeniti pē ko ia ʻokú ke fili loto-fiemālie ai ʻa e fakatomala fakaʻaho, mo fiefiá ʻi he vilitaki ke fakahoko ho lelei tahá, ʻe takatakai mo muimui ʻa e Fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻiate koe ʻi he feituʻu pē te ke ʻalu aí. ʻI hono moʻui ʻaki e foungá ni, te ke lava moʻoni ke “tauhi maʻu ai pē ha fakamolemole ʻo [hoʻo] ngaahi angahalá” (Mōsaia 4:12) he houa ʻo e ʻaho kotoa, ʻi he sēkoni mo e miniti kotoa, pea maʻa kakato mo tali ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻi he taimi kotoa pē.

ʻOku ʻaʻau e faingamālié, kapau ʻokú ke fie maʻu ia, ke ʻiloʻi ʻiate koe pē, ʻi he ʻahó ni pe vavé ni mai, ʻoku hoifua e ʻOtuá kiate koe neongo hoʻo tōnounoú. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ki ha Fakamoʻui ʻofa ʻokú Ne ʻamanaki mai ke tau moʻui ʻaki e ngaahi fekaú. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ki ha Fakamoʻui ʻofa ʻoku vēkeveke ke foaki ʻEne ʻaloʻofá mo e manavaʻofá. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ki ha Fakamoʻui ʻofa ʻokú Ne fiefia ʻi heʻetau fakaʻaongaʻi fakaʻaho ʻEne Fakaleleí mo e fakapapau nonga mo fiefia ʻoku tau fehangahangai mo ia ʻi he hala ʻoku totonú. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ki ha Fakamoʻui ʻofa ʻokú Ne vēkeveke ke “ʻāsili mālohi hoʻo falalá ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá” (vakai, T&F 121:45). ʻI he huafa ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻēmeni.
