Ko e Toe Foki ki he Tuí

Te tau lava kotoa ʻo fakamālohia ʻetau tui kia Sīsū Kalaisí mo maʻu ha fiefia ʻi heʻetau fononga fakatāutahá.

ʻE Palesiteni Monisoni, ʻi he pongipongi Toetuʻu ko ʻení, ʻoku mau fiefia ke fanongo ki he leʻo homau palōfita moʻuí. ʻOku mau mahuʻingaʻia ʻi hoʻo leá, kau ai hoʻo talatalaifale: “Fiefia ʻi he fonongá”1 pea “ʻOku hā ngingila tatau pē kahaʻú mo hoʻomou tuí.”2

ʻOku vahevahe ʻe he fānau Palaimelí he taʻú ni ʻa e fiefia mo e mālohi ʻenau tui kia Sīsū Kalaisí he taimi ʻoku nau hivaʻi ai “ʻOku ou ʻIlo ʻOku ʻOfa Hoku Fakamoʻuí ʻIate Au.” ʻOku nau hivaʻi e moʻoni [“ʻOku ou ʻilo ʻokú Ne moʻui! … ʻOku foaki hoku lotó Maʻana.”]3 Hangē ko e fānau Palaimelí, te tau lava kotoa ʻo fakamālohia ʻetau tui kia Sīsū Kalaisí ʻi heʻetau fononga fakafoʻituituí pea tau fiefia ai.

ʻI ha fakataha kimuí ni ʻa e Fineʻofá he Sāpaté, ne u fakafanongo ai ki ha faʻē kei talavou heʻene vahevahe mai e founga ʻo ʻene uluí. Naʻá ne tupuʻi Siasi, ʻi ha mātuʻa naʻá na akoʻi kiate ia e ongoongoleleí. Naʻá ne kau he Palaimelí, Kau Finemuí mo e seminelí. Naʻá ne fie ako mo fie ʻiloʻi ʻa e moʻoní. Naʻá ne feinga maʻu pē ke ʻiloʻi e ʻuhinga. Kuo pehē foki ʻe ʻEletā Lāsolo M. Nalesoni, “ʻOku toki akoʻi pē ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e ʻatamai fekumí.”4 Pea akoʻingofua e finemui ko ʻení.

ʻI he laumālie ʻo e fekumi ki he ʻiló, naʻe hokohoko atu e ʻeke fehuʻi ʻa e faʻē ko ʻení. Ka ʻi he fakaʻau ke toe mamafa ange ʻa e ngaahi fehuʻí, naʻe pehē pē foki mo e ngaahi talí.

Naʻe talaange ʻe ha niʻihi he taimi puputuʻu ko ʻení, “Falala mai pē koe ki heʻeku tuí,” Ka naʻá ne fakakaukau, “he ʻikai lava ia. ʻOku ʻikai mahino kiate kimoutolu; ʻoku ʻikai ke mou fefaʻuhi kimoutolu mo e ngaahi palopalema ko ʻení.”

Naʻe faʻa talanoa foki e faʻē kei talavoú ni mo ʻene pīsopé pea fakahaaʻi ange ʻe he pīsopé ʻene falala ki he faʻeé ni.

Ne u ongoʻi he taimi ko iá ʻa ʻeku fehokotaki moʻoni mo ʻeku ngaahi kui kuo pekiá. Ne nau poupouʻi mai ke ʻoua ʻe tuku ʻeku feingá. Hangē ne nau pehē mai, ʻTokanga ki he meʻa ʻokú ke faí.”

Neongo e ngaahi poupou kotoa naʻá ne maʻú, ka naʻá ne tō atu ʻo māmālohi. Naʻá ne pehē, “Naʻe ʻikai ke u mavahe mei he Siasí koeʻuhí ko ha ʻulungāanga kovi, fakapikopiko fakalaumālie, kumi ʻuhinga ke ʻoua naʻá ku moʻui ʻaki e ngaahi fekaú pe fekumi ki ha founga faingofua ke u mavahe ai. Ne u ongoʻi pē naʻá ku fie maʻu ha tali ki he fehuʻi ʻKo e hā koā e meʻa ʻoku ou tui moʻoni ki aí?’”

Taimi ko ʻení naʻá ne lau ai ha tohi ʻa Mother Telesa, ʻa ia naʻá ne tofanga he ongo tatau pē. ʻI ha tohi ʻa Mother Telesa he 1953, naʻá ne pehē ai, “Mou lotua fakatāutaha muʻa au ke ʻoua naʻá ku maumauʻi ʻEne ngāué pea ke hā mai ʻa e ʻEikí—he ʻoku ʻi ai ha fuʻu fakapoʻuli lahi ʻiate au, ʻo hangē ʻoku mate ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē. Kuo peheni pē ia talu mei he taimi ne u kamata ai e ʻngāué.ʻ Kole ki hotau ʻEikí ke ʻomi kiate au ha lototoʻa.”

Ne tali ange ʻe he ʻEpikopō ko Pilá: “Siʻeku faʻē, ke tataki koe ʻe he ʻOtuá; ʻoku ʻikai ke ke ʻi he fakapoʻulí ʻo hangē ko hoʻo fakakaukaú. Mahalo he ʻikai hā mahino mai leva e hala ke fouá. Lotua ke maʻu ha maama; ʻoua te ke fai leva hoʻo filí, ka ke fakafanongo ki he lea ʻa e niʻihi kehé peá ke fakakaukauʻi ʻenau ngaahi fakaʻuhingá. Te ke maʻu maʻu pē ha meʻa ke tokoni atu. … Ka tataki koe ʻe he lotú mo e fakaʻuhinga totonú, ta kuo feʻunga ia.”5

Te ne lava ʻo laka atu ʻi he foʻi laka kotoa pē ʻi he tui—pea hokohoko pehē atu ai pē.

Kuo ʻosi kotoa ia he vela. Pea ko e toengá pē ko Sīsū Kalaisi. Ka ʻoku ʻikai ke Ne liʻaki koe he taimi ʻokú ke fakafehuʻia aí. ʻOku hoko leva e lotú mo e ako folofolá ko ha meʻa mahuʻinga fau.”

Ko e fuofua meʻa naʻá ne fai ke toe langaki hake ʻene tuí, ko ʻene kamata he ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni mahuʻinga ʻo e ongoongoleleí.

Naʻá ne pehē, “Ka ne u toe iku pē ki he Tohi ʻa Molomoná he naʻá ku saiʻia he ongo ne u maʻu he taimi ne u lautohi ai ʻo kau kia Sīsū Kalaisi mo ʻEne Fakaleleí.”

Ne u lau ʻia Mōsaia pea u ongoʻi kuo fakahinohinoʻi kakato au: ‘Tui pē ki he ʻOtuá; tui ʻokú ne ʻi ai, pea naʻá ne fakatupu ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē … tui ʻokú ne maʻu ʻa e poto kotoa, mo e māfimafi kotoa, ʻi he langí mo e māmaní fakatouʻosi; tui ʻoku ʻikai ʻiloʻi ʻe he tangatá ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku lava ke ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻEikí.’”7

ʻI he taimi ko ʻení ne hoko mai ha ui ke u hoko ko e tokotaha tā piano ʻa e Palaimelí.

ʻE lava ke u fai ʻeku fakamoʻoní. Te u lea ʻaki pē ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ou ʻilo lelei mo falala ki aí. ʻOku tupulaki ʻi hoku lotó e meʻa ʻoku tukutaha ai ʻeku tokangá. Meʻa fakaʻofoʻofa moʻoni ke toe foki ki he uho ʻo e ongoongoleleí pea ongoʻi ʻene mahinó.”

ʻI he pongipongi Sāpate ko iá, ʻi heʻeku fakafanongo ki hono vahevahe ʻe he fefiné ni ʻene fonongá, ne u manatu ai “kuo pau ke langa hotau fakavaʻé ʻi he maka ʻo hotau Huhuʻí.8 Ne u toe manatu foki ai ki he naʻinaʻi naʻe fai ʻe ʻEletā Sefilī R. Hōlani: “Pikitai ki he meʻa kuó ke ʻosi ʻiló pea tuʻu maʻu kae ʻoua kuo maʻu ha ʻilo lahi ange.”9

ʻI he lolotonga ʻene failēsoní, ne u toe ʻilo fakapapauʻi ai, ko e tali ko ia ki heʻetau ngaahi fehuʻi fakamātoató, ʻoku hoko mai ia he taimi ʻoku tau fekumi ai ʻi he loto moʻoní, pea mo tauhi ʻa e ngaahi fekaú. Ne fakamanatu mai ai ʻe lava ke fakalaka atu ʻetau tuí ʻi he ngaahi fakangatangata ʻo e fakaʻuhinga he lolotongá.

Pea ʻoku ou fakaʻamu ke u hangē ai ko e niʻihi ʻoku nau feohi mo e faʻē kei talavoú ni, ʻo ʻofeina mo poupouʻi ia. Hangē ko e lea ʻa Palesiteni Tieta F. ʻUkitofá: “Ko e kaungā fononga pē kitautolu ʻoku fekumi ki he maama ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻi heʻetau fononga ʻi he hala fakaākongá. ʻOku ʻikai ke tau fakahalaʻi ʻa e niʻihi kehé koeʻuhí ko e lahi ʻo e maama ʻoku nau maʻu pe ʻikai maʻú; ka ʻoku tau fafanga mo poupouʻi e maama kotoa, kae ʻoua kuo tupulaki ʻo mahino, ngingila pea mo moʻoni.”10

ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ʻoku hoko mai e ongoʻi loto fakapapauʻi ko iá he taimi ʻoku tatau ai hotau lotó mo Hono finangaló. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni kuo ʻi māmani ʻa e moʻoní he ʻahó ni pea ʻoku maʻu ʻa ʻEne ongoongoleleí ʻi he Siasi ʻo Sīsū Kalaisi ʻo e Kau Māʻoniʻoni ʻi he Ngaahi ʻAho Kimui Ní. ʻI he huafa ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻēmeni.
