ʻOkú Ne Kole Mai ke Tau Hoko ko Hono Toʻukupú

Ko e tokoni faka-Kalaisí, ko ha ngāue taʻesiokita ia ʻoku fakatefito ʻi he niʻihi kehé.

“Ke mou feʻofaʻaki; … hangē ko ʻeku ʻofa kiate kimoutolú].”1 Ne toki hivaʻi atu e fakaleá ni ʻe he kuaea fakaofó ni, he ko e folofola ia ʻa Sīsū ʻi ha ngaahi houa siʻi kimuʻa peá Ne fai ʻEne feilaulau fakalelei maʻongoʻongá—ko ha feilaulau naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻEletā Sefilī R. Hōlani ko e “fakahaaʻi fakaʻeiʻeiki taha [ia] ʻo e ʻofa haohaoá, kuo faifaiangé pea fakahaaʻi ʻi he hisitōlia ʻo e māmani ko ʻení.”2

Ne ʻikai ngata pē hono akoʻi kitautolu ʻe Sīsū ke tau ʻofá, ka naʻá Ne moʻuiʻaki foki e meʻa naʻá Ne akoʻí. Lolotonga e ngāue fakafaifekau ʻa Sīsuú, naʻá Ne “feʻaluʻaki ʻo fai lelei”3 peá Ne “kōlenga ʻa e kakai kotoa pē ke muimui ange ki Heʻene sīpingá.”4 Naʻá Ne akonaki, “He ko ia ʻe kalofaki ʻene moʻuí, ʻe mole ia; ka ko ia ʻe mole ʻene moʻuí koeʻuhí ko au, ko ia pē ʻe maʻu iá”5

Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Tōmasi S. Monisoni, he ʻokú ne ʻilo mo moʻui ʻaki e akonaki ʻo e ʻofá: “ʻOku ou tui ʻoku talamai ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻo ka ʻikai ke tau tokoni ki he niʻihi kehé, ta ʻoku ʻikai ha ʻuhinga mālie ia ki heʻetau moʻuí. Ko kinautolu ko ia ʻoku nau moʻui siokita peé, ʻoku hangē leva ʻoku hōloa pea … mole ʻenau moʻuí, ka ko kinautolu ʻoku foaki ʻenau moʻuí ke tokoni ki he niʻihi kehé, ʻoku tupulaki mo fakalakalaka —pea nau fakahaofi ai ʻenau moʻuí.”6

Ko e tokoni faka-Kalaisí, ko ha ngāue taʻesiokita ia ʻoku fakatefito ʻi he niʻihi kehé.

Naʻe fehuʻi ʻe Sisitā Sonitulā D. Hisitoni, ʻi haʻane lea he fakataha lotu ʻi BYU: “Fēfē kapau naʻa tau lava ʻo sio moʻoni ki he loto ʻo e niʻihi kehé? ʻE toe lelei ange nai ai ʻetau mahinó? ʻI heʻetau ongoʻi e meʻa ʻoku ongoʻi ʻe he niʻihi kehé, sio ki he meʻa ʻoku nau sio ki aí, pea fanongo ki he meʻa ʻoku nau fanongo ki aí, te tau fakaʻatā nai hatau taimi ke tau tokoni ai ki he niʻihi kehé pea liliu ai mo ʻetau tōʻonga kiate kinautolú? ʻE toe lahi ange nai ai ʻetau faʻa kātakí, angaʻofá mo e anga fakamaʻumaʻú?”

Naʻe vahevahe mai ʻe Sisitā Hisitoni ha aʻusia he taimi naʻe tokoni ai he nofo-kemi ʻa e Kau Finemuí. Naʻá ne pehē:

“Naʻe akoʻi kimautolu ʻe ha taha … ʻo e kau leá ʻo kau ki he … ‘hoko ko ha tokotahá.’ Ko e taha ʻeni ʻene fakamatalá, ‘Hoko ko ha tokotaha ʻoku feinga ke ʻiloʻi mo tokoni ki he niʻihi kehé—tuku e sio he sioʻatá kae sio atu he matapā sioʻatá.’

[Naʻá ne] tuku e sioʻatá ka ne toʻo hake ha ʻesia ʻo ha matapā sioʻata, peá ne fokotuʻu ia he vahaʻa ʻo hono fofongá mo e fofonga ʻo e finemuí. … Naʻe lava ke mau sio naʻe tukutaha ʻene tokangá he finemuí pea ʻoku fie maʻu ʻi he tokoni moʻoní ke fakatefito ʻetau tokangá ʻi he ngaahi fie maʻu mo e ongo ʻa e niʻihi kehé.

Naʻá ne pehē, “Ko e toʻukupu kitautolu ʻo e ʻEikí ʻi he māmaní, mo ha fekau ke tau tokoni pea hiki hake ʻEne fānaú. ʻOkú Ne fakafalala mai kiate kitautolu.”9

ʻOku fakaafeʻi e fānaú ke nau tokoni pea hoko ko e toʻukupu ʻo e ʻEikí

ʻI Sānuali taʻu kuo ʻosí, naʻe fakaafeʻi ai ʻe he ongo makasini ko e Friend mo e Liahoná e fānau he funga ʻo e māmaní ke nau muimui ki he faleʻi ʻa Palesiteni Monisoní—ʻo hoko ko e toʻukupu ʻo e ʻEikí. Naʻe fakaafeʻi e fānaú ke nau fai ha fanga kiʻi ngāue tokoni—lalahi mo iiki. Naʻe fekau leva ke nau tā honau laʻinimá ʻi ha laʻipepa pea nau kosi ʻo toʻo pea tohiʻi ai e tokoni ne nau faí pea ʻave ia ki he makasiní. Mahalo ne kau ha lauafe ʻo kimoutolu ʻoku fanongo mai he pōní, he fānau ne nau fai ha tokoni ʻofa pea fakahū atu iá.10

ʻI he ako e fānaú ke nau ʻofa mo tokoni ki he niʻihi kehé ʻi heʻenau kei īkí, ʻoku nau tā ai ha sīpinga ʻo e tokoní ki he toenga ʻenau moʻuí.

Naʻá ne pehē, “Naʻe faʻu ʻe heʻemau kalasi taʻu nima mo onó he ʻahó ni ha fanga kiʻi kahoa ʻo e ʻofá. Naʻe tā ʻe he tamasiʻi takitaha ha fakatātā ʻi ha laʻipepa: ko e fakatātā ʻe taha ʻo kinautolu, taha ʻo Sīsū pea taha ko honau fāmilí pe ʻofaʻangá.

… ʻOku ou fehiʻa heʻeku meʻa ʻoku faí. ʻOku kovi ʻeku moʻuí.’ Naʻá ne ala hake leva ʻo puke hono ʻulú.

“Ne u fakakaukau ki he ngaahi tūkunga hono fāmilí peá u ongoʻi mahalo pē naʻe faingataʻa ʻene moʻuí. Kae hili e lea ʻa Hetá ne tali mai ʻe ʻAna mei he tafaʻaki tēpile ʻe tahá, ‘Heta, ʻoku ou fakakau koe heʻeku kahoá ʻi hoku vahaʻa mo Sīsū he ʻokú Ne ʻofa ʻiate koe pea ʻoku ou ʻofa atu foki mo au kiate koe.’

“ʻI he lea pehē ʻa ʻAná, naʻe totolo atu ʻa Heta he lalo tēpilé kia ʻAna ʻo ne fāʻofua kiate ia.

“Hili e kalasí, ʻi he haʻu ʻene kuí ke ʻave iá, naʻe pehē ange ʻe Heta, ‘Kulenimā, mateʻi mai angē pe ko e hā? ʻOku ʻofa ʻa Sīsū ʻiate au.’”

ʻI heʻetau ala atu ʻi he ʻofa mo e tokoní, neongo ʻene ngali siʻisiʻí, ʻe liliu mo fakamolū e ngaahi lotó ʻi hono ongoʻi ʻe he niʻihi kehé e ʻofa ʻa e ʻEikí.

Ngaahi tokoua, ʻoku fanongo mai hamou niʻihi mahalo ʻoku mou ongoʻi lōmekina he tokoni ki he ngaahi fie maʻu ʻa e fāmilí. Manatuʻi ʻoku fakafou he ngāue faʻa faingataʻa ko iá ʻa hoʻomou “ʻi he ngāue pē ʻo homou ʻOtuá.”11

Mahalo ʻe ongoʻi fakaʻofa hamou niʻihi pea ʻe malava ke fakaleleiʻi ia ʻi haʻamou sio ki homou kaungāʻapí pe koló ke tokoni ʻi hono fakamaʻamaʻa hoʻomou mafasiá.

Te tau lava kotoa ʻo fai ha tokoni ʻi heʻetau moʻui fakaʻahó. ʻOku tau moʻui ʻi ha māmani fakamoveuveu. ʻOku tau tokoni he taimi ʻoku ʻikai ke tau fakaanga aí, taimi ʻoku ʻikai ke tau ngutu lau aí, taimi ʻoku ʻikai ke tau loto fakamaau aí, taimi ʻoku tau malimali, lea fakamālo pea faʻa kātaki mo angaʻofa aí.

Ka ʻoku tuha pē ia mo e feinga kotoa ʻoku tau fai. Mahalo te tau lava ʻo kamata ʻaki ʻetau fai e ngaahi fehuʻi ko ʻení:

  • Ko hai he niʻihi ʻoku ou feohi mo iá te u lava ʻo tokoni ki ai he ʻahó ni?

  • Ko e hā e lahi hoku taimí mo e maʻuʻanga tokoní?

  • Te u fakaʻaongaʻi fēfē hoku ngaahi talēnití mo e taukeí ke faitāpuekina ʻaki e niʻihi kehé?

ʻa e meʻa kuo fai ʻe he kau ākonga ʻa Kalaisí ʻi he toʻu tangata kotoa pē: mou fealeaʻaki, fakaʻaongaʻi e ngaahi maʻuʻanga tokoni kotoa pē ʻe maʻú, fekumi ki he ueʻi ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní, kole ki he ʻEikí ke Ne fakapapauʻi mai, teuteu pea fai e ngāué.

Kapau te mou muimui ʻi he sīpinga ko ʻení, te mou maʻu ha fakahinohino pau pe ko hai, ko e hā, ko e fē taimi, mo e feituʻu ke [mou] tokoni ai ʻi he founga ʻa e ʻEikí.”12

Taimi kotoa pē ʻoku ou fifili ai pe ʻe fēfē ha toe hāʻele mai e Fakamoʻuí, ʻoku ou fakakaukau leva ki Heʻene ʻaʻahi ki he Kau Nīfaí Heʻene fehuʻi:

“ʻOku ʻi ai ha mou niʻihi ʻoku puke ʻiate kimoutolu? Mou ʻomi a kinautolu ki heni. ʻOku ʻi ai hamou niʻihi ʻoku ketu, pe kui, pe heke, pe pipiki, pe kilia, pe mate ha kupu ʻo honau sinó? ʻOmi ʻa kinautolu ki heni pea te u fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu, he ʻoku ou ʻofa mamahi kiate kimoutolu; ʻoku fonu hoku lotó ʻi he ʻaloʻofa.

… Naʻe fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē ʻe he [Fakamoʻuí]”13

Meʻa pē ʻokú ne kole mai he taimi ní, ke tau hoko ko hono toʻukupú.

Kuó u ʻilo ʻoku ʻai ʻe he ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá mo e kaungāʻapí ke toe mahuʻingamālie ange ʻa e moʻuí. ʻOfa ke tau muimui ki he sīpinga hotau Fakamoʻuí mo ʻEne naʻinaʻi ke tau ala atu ʻo tokoni ki he niʻihi kehé ʻi he ʻofa.

ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ki hono moʻoni ʻo e palōmesi ne fai ʻe Palesiteni Henelī B. ʻAealingí “kapau te tau fakaʻaongaʻi [hotau] ngaahi meʻafoakí ke tokoniʻi ʻaki ha taha kehe, [te tau] ongoʻi ai e ʻofa ʻa e ʻEikí ki he tokotaha ko iá. [Te tau] ongoʻi foki ai ʻene ʻofa kiate [kitautolú].”14 ʻI he huafa ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻēmeni.
