Aage ke Liye Ek Achchi Neev Dal Rakhe
Aane vaale varshon ke dauraan, hum ko Salt Lake Mandir mein kiye gae sudhaaron ko hamen sthaanaantarit karne aur prerit kaane ki anumati de sakte hain.
Salt Lake Tempal ki Ithihaas
Vaapas yaatra karte hai ek garmi shaam 24 July, 1847 ko dopahaar 2:00 baje ke aaspaas. Girajaghar ke 148 sadasyon ke saath 111 din ki yaatra ke baad, jisne pashchim ki or pahale paarti banai, Brigham Young, jo us samay Barah Devduton ke Pradhaan tha, pahaad ke bukhaar se beemaar aur kamajor, Salt Lake Valley me pravesh kiya.

Samuh ke saath sthaan ko dekhte hue, Brigham Young achanak se roka aur bhent (cane) ko jameen me daba di, chilate hai, “Yaha Hamare Parmeshwar ka Mandir khada hoga.” Uska ek saathi Elder Wilford Woodruff tha, jisne kaha ki “bijli ke samaan [uske] maadhyam se” aur unhonne Pradhaan Young ke bent se bane sthaan ko chihnit karne ke liye ek shaakha ko maidaan me utaar diya. Mandir ke liye chaalees ekad(16 ha) jameen chuni gai,aur yah tay kiya gaya tha ki shahar ko “puri tarah se chaukor Uttar, &Dakshin, Purv &Pashchim” me rakha jaana chahiye, jisme mandir kendr me ho.2
April 1851 ke maha sammelan me, Girjaghar ke sadasyon ne sarvasammati se mandir ka nirmaan karne ke liye “Prabhu ke naam par” prastaav rakha.”3 Do saal baad, 14 February, 1853 ko, yah sait Heber C. Kimball dwara ek saarvajanik samaaroh me samarpit ki gai thi jisme kai hajaar Sant shaamil hue the aur Salt Lake Mandir ki neev ke liye jameen todi gai. Graundbreking samaaroh(ceremony) me, Pradhaan Young ne yaad kiya ki jab unhonne pahali baar jameen par pair rakha tha, tab unhonne kaha, “Main [tab] jaanta tha, saath hi saath ab mujhe pata hai,yah vah bhoomi thi jis par mandir banaya gaya tha-yah mere saamne tha.”5
Das saal baad, Brigham Young ne October 1863 ke saamaany sammelan me nimnalikhit bhavishyavaani antardrshti ki peshkash ki: “Mai dekhna chahata hoon [ki ]mandir is tarah se banaaya gaya hai ki yah hazaar varsh ke maadhyam se sahna hoga. Yah ekmaatr mandir nahin hai jise hum banaenge; waha unme se saikadon(hundreds) banae jaenge aur Prabhu ko samarpit kiye jaenge. Yah mandir Antim-dino Santo dwara pahaadon me nirmit pahela mandir ke rup me jaana jaega. … Mujhe woh mandir chahiye … vishwaas ke ek gauravashaali smaarak ke rup me khade hone ke liye, pahaadon me Parmeshwar ke Santon ki lagataar aur kathin parishram.”6
Is sankshipt itihaas ki samiksha ne mujhe Brigham Young ki zabtee me daal diya-pahela, uska yah sunishchit karna,us samay aur sthaan par uplabdh nirmaan vidhiyon ka upyog karte hue, sambhav had tak,namak jheel mandir ko pure Mileniyam me sahane ke tarike se banaya jaega, dusri,duniya bhar me bhavishy ke mandiron ke vikaas ki unki bhavishyvaani, yaha tak ki saikadon me sankhya ke liye.
Salt Lake Mandir ki Navikaran
Brigham Young ki tarah, aaj ke hamare profat Salt Lake Mandir aur anye sabhi ko bahut swaadhaani se dekhte hai. Us samay Pratham Adhyakshta ko pradaan ki gai sameeksha ke kuch ansh is prakaar hain: “Salt Lake Mandir ke dizain aur nirmaan me,sabse achchi injiniyaring, kushal shramik, nirmaan saamagri, saaj-saamaan aur any avadhi-uplabdh sansaadhanon ka upyog kiya gaya tha. 1893 me apne samarpan ke baad se, mandir mazbuti se khada hai aur vishwaas [aur] aasha aur logon ke liye ek prakaash ke rup me sewa kiya hai. Mandir ka sanchaalan, safai aur achchi sthiti ko banae rakhne ke liye bahut dhyaan rakha gaya hai. Aantarik baahari farsh par diwaar se diwaar tak phaile grenait baahari aur sanrachnaatmak beem achchi sthiti me hai. Haal ke adhyayanon se pushti hoti hai ki Brigham Young dwaara mandir ke liye chune gae sthaan me bahut achchi mitti aur utkrsht sanghanan(compaction qualities) gun hai.”7
Samiksha ne nishkarsh nikaala ki saamaany marammat aur sudhaar ko navinikrt karne ki aavashyakta thi aur mandir ko update kare,mandir ke chaaron or plaaja kshetr aur laal-tail vaale, bijlee aur any upyogita pranaali jo aadhunik maanakon ke anukul nahin hain, baptisma ki jagha maidaan shaamil hain ko lekar. Haalanki, ek aur adhik vyaapak vaastushilp unnayan par vichaar karna jo bhukamp aur any bhukampi gatividhi se raksha karega mandir ki neev upar ki or se shuru karne ki bhi siphaarish ki gai thi.
Mandir ki Neev
Jaisa ki aap yaad kar sakte hai, Pradhaan Brigham Young svayan mul mandir i nevenv ke nirmaan me bade vistaar se shaamil the, jo 127 saal pahele mandir ke purn hone ke baad se achchie tarah se sewa kar raha hai. Ek avdhaarana ka sabse mahatvpurn pahalu, yah sanrachnaatmak rup se mandir ko sthir karne ke liye mazboot karta hai yahaan tak ki prithvi aur uske aas-paas ka vaataavaran bhi bukamp i bukampeey ghatna se gujarta hai.
Is praudyogi ki ko niyojit karne vaale mandir ke naavikaran ki ghoshna pichhle saal Pratham Adhyakshta dwaara ki gai thi. Prisiding Bishoprik ke nirdeshan me, konstrakshan kuch mahine pahale January 2020 me shuru kiya gaya tha. Yah lagabhag chaar varshon me pura hone ka anumaan hai.
Apne Vyaktigat Neev ko Sunishchit Karna
Is khubsurat, mahaan, shreshth, aur vismayakaaree Salt Lake Mandir ke jiwan ke agle chaar varshon ke baare me vichaar karen, ise band karne ke samay ke bajaay rnavikaran samay ke rup me kalpana karen! Isi tarah, hum khud se puch sakte hai, Salt Lake Mandir ka yah vyaapak naveekaran hamen apne svayan ke aadhyaatmik naya aur behatar banaane ki ya bahaali se gujrane ke liye kaise prerit kar sakta hai?”
Ek vichaarashil aatm-pariksha se yah pata chal sakaa hai ki hum bhi aur hamare parivaar kuch aavashyak rakharakha aur naveekaran kaary karne se laabh ho sakta hai, yaha tak ki bhukampi unnyan bhi! Hum puch kar aisi prakriya shuru kar sakte hain:
“Meri neev kya dikhati hai?”
“Is me moti deevaar vaale, sthir, majaboot konarston shaamil hain yah meri vyaktigat neev ka hissa hai, jis par meri gawahi tiki hui hai?”
Mere aadhyaatmik ke mulbhut tatv kya hai aur bhaavnaatmak charitr jo mujhe aur meri parivaar ko sthir aur achal rahne ki anumati dega yaha tak ki bhukamp ka samna karne ke liye bhi aur nishchit rup se hamare jiwan me hone wali zaharili bhukampi ghatnae?”
Aisi ghatanae, jo bhukamp ke samaan hoti hain, unka aksar anumaan lagaana mushkil hota hai aur tivrata ke vibhinn staron me aate hain—sawaalo ya sandeh ke saath kushti, duhkh ya vipatti ka saamna karna, Girjaghar ke netaon, sadasyon, siddhaant ya neeti ke saath vyaktigat aparaadhon ke maadhyam se kaam karna. Hamari aadhyaatmik neev me in jhuthon ke khilaaf sabse achcha bachaav.
Hamare vyaktigat aur parivaarik jiwan ke aadhyaatmik aadhaar (cornerstone) kya ho sakte hain? Weh susamachaar ke saral, saade aur anamol siddhaant ho sakte hai— parivaar ki prarthana, shaastr ka adhyayan, mandir ki upasthiti, Mormon ki Pustak, Come, Follow Meaur ghar ki shaam ke maadhyam se sikhne ke susamaachaar. Aapki aadhyaatmik neev ko majaboot karne ke liye any sahayak sansaadhanon me Articles of Faith, parivaar ki ghoshna, aur “The Living Christ” shaamil ho sakti hai.
Mere liye, mandir ki sifaarish (temple recommend) praapt karne ke bhaag ke rup me charcha kiye gae prashnon me shaamil siddhaant aadhyaatmik aadhaar ke liye ek majboot aadhaar ke rup me kaam karte hai—khaas kar pahale chaar prashn ko. Mai unhen aadhyaatmik aadhaar ke rup me dekhta hoon.
Hum nishchit rup se, in sawalo se parichit hai, kyunki Pradhaan Russell M. Nelson ne unhen pichhle maha sammelan me ek-ek karke hamen padha.

Kya aap Ishu Masih ka Girjaghar Antim-dinon ke Santon ka ke Pradhaan ko bhavisyevakta, paegambar, aur praktikarta ke rup me samarthan deta hai aur ki wahi ek insaan hai jon ih dharti pe sabhi purohiti ke chaabiyon ke adhikaari hai?8
Kya aap dekh sakte hai ki aap apni nijee neev me in sawalo ko mulyavaan tatvon ke rup me kaise maan sakte hain taaki aap ise banaane aur sudrdh karne me madad kar sake? Paul ne Ephesians ke ek girjaghar ko sikhalya jo is “prerito aur bhaavishyvaaktao ki neev par, jiske kone ka pathar Ishu Masih swaye hi hai, banaye gae hai; jisme saari rachnaa ek saath milkar Prabhu me ek pavitra mandir banti jaati hai.”9
Mere jiwan ki sabse badi khushiyon me se ek puri duniya me Girjaghar ke sadasyon se parichit aur prerit ho raha hai, jo Ishu Masih aur Unke susamaachaar me vishwaas ke udaaharan ke saath ji rahe hai. Unke paas majaboot vyaktigat neev hain jo unhen apne dil ke dard aur dard ke bauvjood, sthir samajh ke saath bhookampeey ghatanaon ka saamana karne ki anumati dete hain.
Ise aur adhik vyaktigat star par pradarshit karne ke liye, mainne haal hi me ek sundar, gatisheel yuva patni aur maa (hamari ek paarivaarik mitr) ke antim sanskaar me baat ki. Jab vah apne dental student pati se milti aur shaadi karti thi, to vah ek dukhi divijan ek futbol khilaadi thi. Unhen ek sundar, sushil beti ka aashirvaad praapt tha. Woh chah chunaotipurn varshon ke liye vibhinn prakaar ke kensar se jujhati rahi. Apne dwaara anubhav kiye gae bhaavanaatmak aur shaaririk kashton ke baojood, usne apne pyaare Swarg ke Pita par bharosa kiya aur aksar apne soshal meediya anuyaayiyon dwara use prasiddh kahaavat ke liye vyaapak rup se uddhrt kiya gaya: “Hamare jiwan ke vivran par Parmeshwar ka prabhaav hai.”
Unke ek soshal midiya post par, unhonne likha ki kisi ne unse pucha tha, “Aapko abhi bhi sabhi dil ke dard ke saath vishwaas kaise hai?” Usne in shabdon ke saath zor se jawaab diya: “Kyunki vishwaas hai jo mujhe in andhere samay ke maadhyam se milaa hai. Vishwaas rakhne ka matlab yah nahin hai ki kuch bhi bura nahin hone vaala hai. Vishwaas rakhne se mujhe yah vishwaas karne ki anumati milti hai ki fir se prakaash hoga. Aur vah prakaash aur bhi ujjawal hoga kyunki mai andhere se chala hoon. Mainne pichle kuch varshon me jitna andhakaar dekha hai, use kahi adhik andhakaar mainne dekha hai. Mainne chamatkaar dekhe hai. Mujhe farishte lage hai. Mujhe pata hai ki mere Swarg ke Pita mujhe le ja rahe the. Agar jiwan aasaan hota to unme se kisi ka bhi anubhav nahin hota. Is jiwan ka bhavishy agyaat ho sakta hai, lekin mera vishwaas nahin hai. Agar mujhe vishwaas nahin karna hai to mai kewal andhere me chalna chunta hoon. Kyunki vishwaas ke bina, andhera wah sab hai jo bacha hua hai.”10
Uski baaton aur uske kaaryon me Prabhu Ishu Masih- me vishwaas ki uski atal saakshi- dusron ke liye prerna thi. Bhale hi uska sharir kamzor,tha, lekin usne dusron ko mazboothone ke liye utha liya.
Is bahan ki tarah, mai Girjaghar ke anaginat any sadasyon, uske jaise yoddhaon ke baare me sochta hoon, jo vishwaas me har din chalate hai, hamare Uddhaarkarta, Ishu Masih ke sachche aur apurv chele hone ka prayaas karte hai. Weh Masih ke baare me sikhte hai. Weh Masih ka prachaar karte hai. Weh Uska anukaran karne ka prayaas karte hai. Chaahe unke jiwan ke din sthir ya asthir jamin par ho, weh jaante hai ki unki neev majaboot aur achal hai.
Yeh weh samarpit aatmaen hain jo geet ke gahan arth ko samajhati hai “kaise ek aadhaar hai, tum Prabhu ke sant ho” aur “jo sharan ke liye Uddhaarkarta ke liye bhaag gae hai.”11 Mai un logon ke beech chalne ke liye krtagyata se pare hoon, jinhonne Santon ke naam ke liye ek aadhyaatmik aadhaar taeyaar kiya hai aur jo jiwan ke kai khataron ko jhelne ke liye majaboot aur surakshit hai.
Mujhe nahin lagta ki ham apane vyaktigat jiwan me is tarah ke ek majaboot neev ke mahatv ko paar kar sakte hai. Kam umr me bhi, hamare Praathmik bachchon ko padhaaya jaata hai kyunki weh is sachchai ko gaate hai:
Buddhimaan vyakti ne chattan,par apna ghar banaya,
Aur baarishne tabaahimacha di. …
Baarishkam hui, aur baadhaa gai,
Aur chattanpar ghar sthir rahe.12
Dharamshaastr is mulabhut siddhaant ko pusht karta hai. Uddhaarkarta ne Amerika ke logon ko sikhaaya:
Aur agar tumne sadeov inn kamon ko kiya tab tum dhanye ho, kyunki tumne meri bchattaan par apna makan banayaa.
lekin tum mein se jo bhee kam ya jyaada karega, vah meri chattaan par nahin,balki retile neev par bana hai; aur jab baarish utarati hai, aur baadh aati hai, aur havaen udatee hain, aur un par maar padati hain, weh gir jaenge”13
Yah Girjaghar ke netaon ki imaanadaar aasha hai ki Salt Lake Mandir ke liye mahatvpurn naveekaran Brigham Young ki ichchha ko pura karne me yogdaan dega “mandir ko is tarah se banaaya gaya hai ki yah sahasraabdi (millennium)ke maadhyam se sahan karega.” Aane vaale varshon ke dauraan, hum namak jheel mandir me kiye gae in sudhaaron ko hamen vyaktiyon aur parivaaron ke rup me sthaanaantarit karne aur prerit karne ki anumati de sakte hai, taaki hum bhi—rupak—“sahasraabdi ko sahan karane vaale tarike se banae jaenge.”
Hum aisa karte hai jab hum Apostal Paul ke prabhaar ko [apne aap] ke liye ke rup me stor karte hai, hai,aane waale samay ke khilaaf ek achchi neev,ki [hum] anant jiwan par pakad bana sakte hai.”14 Yah meri aaraadhna hai ki hamari aadhyaatmik neev sunishchit ho, ki hamare Uddhaarkarta aur Muktidaata ke rup me Ishu Masih ke praayashchit ki hamari bhoomika aur hamari bhoomika hamare liye mukhy aadhaar ban jaegi.
