The Saints Build a New Home
Read about this story in Doctrine and Covenants 58–59.
After the Church was restored, more and more people learned about the gospel. They chose to be baptized. They were called “Saints.”
Some of them moved so they could live near other members of the Church. The Saints helped and strengthened each other.
Other people did not like the Church. They tried to hurt the Saints. They forced them to leave their homes.
The Saints had faith that God would help them. Even though it was hard, they moved to a new place. They worked together to build a new city.
I can face hard things with faith. I can help others during hard times too.
