Starting Today I’m Enjoying Easter Music

Jesus Christ

First performed in 1742, the Messiah, by George Frideric Handel, has become one of the world’s most beloved musical works. Enjoying this masterpiece is a wonderful way to commemorate the birth, life, death, and Resurrection of Christ with people all over the world.

To celebrate this Easter season, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will present Handel’s beloved oratorio Messiah on Friday, March 26. This concert, recorded before the pandemic, will be streamed on YouTube at 7:00 p.m. mountain daylight time.
