Starting Today I Will See the Light
Jesus said, “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness” (John 12:46). To help you focus on Jesus Christ, set your phone’s background to one of your favorite pieces of Christ-centered artwork. You can also share this artwork with family, friends, and others on social media.
After entering Jerusalem, one of the first places Jesus visits is the temple. His Father’s house is supposed to be a sacred place of light and peace, but Jesus finds that light dimmed by the merchants who have set up shop inside. Jesus removes them, and immediately the view improves.
He can do the same for us. As we exercise faith and believe in Jesus Christ, we can lift our sights above the things of this world and focus on what is sacred.
