Starting Today I’m Walking the Walk
Jesus invites us to “keep [His] commandments” (John 14:15). As you strive to follow Him, review His words from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7), and then share some of your favorite verses with others.
It’s hard to imagine the anguish felt by the faithful followers of Jesus Christ as they lovingly prepared and placed His body in a garden tomb. Surely they must have wondered how to face the world without their beloved friend and Master at their side.
Yet during His mortal ministry, Jesus taught the way to show love for Him—at any time and in any circumstance: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). If we want to feel close to the Savior and show Him our love, we can start today to do what He asks us to do.
