I love roller coasters!
The wind in my hair, the twists and turns, that feeling of free-falling. It takes my breath away and I love it all!
But the thing I love most is the safety harness. It’s what allows me to feel joy about everything else on the roller coaster!
Without the safety harness, I’m terrified.
With it, I’m throwing my hands in the air, loving every second.
Life is a lot like a roller coaster with twists and turns and the occasional free fall. But luckily, like a roller coaster, we have a safety harness to see us through it.
Heavenly Father has given us:
- Commandments,
- Scriptures,
- Repentance,
- Covenants,
- Prayer,
- Prophets, and
- People who love and care for us.
These things can help us through all the ups and downs on this roller coaster of life. And with our spiritual safety harness on, we can and should feel joy!
May this ride take your breath away and put a smile on your face, knowing you can trust your Heavenly Father.
He will never let you down.
“Therefore, lift up your heads, and rejoice, and put your trust in God” (Mosiah 7:19).
