Imagine you were given access to a huge collection of written records covering the last thousand years of your country.
There would be official government documents, as well as personal letters and diaries and transcripts of prayers and sermons. You could spend the rest of your life with that all material!
And that’s exactly what Mormon did.
Inspired by the Lord, he made it his life’s work to condense that material into what we know as the Book of Mormon.
