Make time for scripture study!
Elder John A. Widtsoe observed, “It is a paradox that men [and women] will gladly devote time every day for many years to learn a science or an art; yet they expect to win a knowledge of the gospel, which comprehends all sciences and arts, through perfunctory glances at books or occasional listening to sermons. The gospel should be studied more intensively than any school or college subject.”
Like you, I am busy and have many things to do during the day. It helps me if I link my scripture study to something I am already doing, like reading scriptures when I am eating breakfast or listening to scriptures when I am driving.
Think of Elder Widtsoe’s words and look for ways to include scripture study in your day instead of looking for reasons you can’t.
