The responsibilities are great. But so are the rewards.
We’ve been asked to help build Zion and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. That’s a lot of trust God has put in us!
Fortunately, God loves us and has provided countless gifts to help us, like the Book of Mormon and the Holy Ghost. He promises great blessings to those who remain faithful.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught about the responsibilities and rewards that come from building Zion. Here are a few he’s mentioned!
Responsibilities:
- Keep the commandment to love both God and our neighbors.
- Stand up for Christ’s teachings and declare His word.
- Serve diligently and be faithful unto the end.
Rewards:
- You will receive lasting happiness and joy.
- The words to share the gospel will be put into your mind.
- Zion will be wherever you are.
Building Zion
Think about someone you can serve, and do it today.
