The Condescension of Jesus Christ

An understanding of who Christ was before His birth and of the humble circumstances of His birth and life can increase our gratitude for the Savior.

  • The Reality of Christmas.” In this Ensign article, Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, then Presiding Bishop of the Church, tells of the prophecies of Christ’s birth and how we can become more Christlike.

  • What the Christmas Story Can Teach You.” This New Era article shares lessons we can learn from the story of Jesus Christ’s birth.

The Savior’s Divine Mission

As we celebrate the Savior’s birth, we should also consider the reason for His coming into the world. This Christmas season, consider how the Savior’s mission has blessed your life.

Articles

  • The Atonement of Jesus Christ.” In this general conference address, Tad R. Callister, who served as Sunday School General President from 2014 to 2019, teaches that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite in its scope yet individual in its reach.
