Small Things Make a Difference!

I’m the shortest in my class. I sometimes wish I was tall like my classmates. But my mother tells me that my values are more important than my height, and I can do many things even though I’m smaller than my classmates.

When I lose something or when I am afraid, I stop what I’m doing and pray. Heavenly Father answers my prayers.

I help my cousins and other kids study math, English, and writing. I help do chores. I take care of my pets. I draw artwork and write letters for missionaries. When I buy or get something new, I share it with others. When I see people in need on the street, I give what I can, and I pray for them daily.

When I was younger, my mom started reading to me. We read Book of Mormon stories, Bible stories, and the Friend magazine. Now, even though I am nine years old, she still reads to me. I can’t sleep unless my mom reads with me. But now some nights I read for Mom until she falls asleep.

I do these simple things even though I am small. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love little children. I know They love me. I love Them too. My dream is to become a missionary so I can do more small things to make a big difference.
