Singambona uKrestu?

Ngobunye ubusuku umkhulu wayefunda indaba kumzukulu wakhe oneminyaka emine ngenkathi ebheka phezulu wabe esethi, “Mkhulu, bheka izinkanyezi!” Indoda endala yamoyizela ngomusa yabe isithi, “Singaphakathi, sithandwa. Azikho izinkanyezi lapha.” Kepha ingane yaphikelela, “Unezinkanyezi ekamelweni lakho! Bheka!”

Umkhulu wabheka phezulu futhi, ngokumangala, wabona ukuthi isilingi yayifafazwe ngokumenyezela kwenkazimulo. Yayingabonakali ngasosonke isikhathi, kepha ngenkathi ukukhanya kushaya ukumenyezela ngandlela thize, ngempela yabonakala ifana nebala lezinkanyezi. Kwathatha amehlo engane ukubona azibone, kepha bezihleli zikhona. Futhi kusukela ngalesosikhathi, ngenkathi umkhulu engena ekamelweni leli wabe esebheka phezulu, wayekwazi ukubona lokho abengakwazi ukukubona ngaphambilini.

Singena esikhathi esimnandi sikaKhisimusi esigcwele umculo namalambu, imicimbi kanye nezipho. Ngiyacabanga ukuthi bangakhi eBhethlehema ebebazi ukuthi khona lapho, eduzane nabo, uMsindisi wayezelwe khona? Indodana kaNkulunkulu, uMesiya owayelindelwe isikhathi eside—Wayephakathi kwabo!

Usakhumbula ukuthi ingilosi yathini kubelusi? “Kuwena namuhla kuzelwe edolobheni likaDavide uMsindisi, onguKrestu iNkosi.” Futhi bakhuluma bodwa bathi, “Masihambe manje siye eBhethlehema, futhi sibone lento eyenzekileyo” (uLuka 2:11, 15).

Njengabelusi bakudala, sidinga ukusho ezinhliziyweni zethu, “Akesibone leyonto eyenzekileyo.” Sidinga ukuyifisa ezinhliziyweni zethu. Makesibone loyo Ongcwele wakwaIsrayeli emkhombeni, ethempelini, entabeni, futhi nasesiphambanweni. Njengabelusi, make sinike inkazimulo futhi sidumise uNkulunkulu ngalezindaba ezimnandi kakhulu!

Ngesinye isikhathi izinto ezinzima kakhulu ukuzibona yilezo ezihlala ziphambi kwethu ngaso sonke isikhathi. Njengomkhulu owehluleka ukubona izinkanyezi phezulu esilingini, ngesinye isikhathi ngeke sibone lokho okusobala.

Thina esiwuzwile umlayezo odumileyo wokuza kweNdodana kaNkulunkulu, thina esithathe igama Lakhe futhi safunga ukuthi sizohamba endleleni Yakhe njengabafundi Bakhe—akufanele sihluleke ukuvula izinhliziyo kanye nezingqondo zethu futhi simbone Yena ngokweqiniso.

Isikhathi sikaKhisimuzi sihle kakhulu ngezindlela eziningi. Yisikhathi sokwenza ngothando izenzo zokulunga futhi sithande abafowethu. Yisikhathi sokuba sizihlaziye kakhulu ngezimpilo zethu kanye nezibusiso eziningi esinazo. Yisikhathi sokuxolela futhi uxolelwe. Yisikhathi sokujabulela umculo kanye namalambu, imicimbi kanye nezipho. Kepha ubukhazikhazi balesikhathi akufanele busenze singaboni kahle noma kusivimbe ukuba sibone ngokweqiniso iNkosana Yoxolo ebukhosini Bayo.

Sonke masenze lonyaka kube yisikhathi sokugubha umkhosi wenjabulo, isikhathi lapho sivuma isimangaliso sokuthi uNkulunkulu omkhulu wathumela iNdodana Yakhe ezelwe yodwa, uJesu Krestu, ukuba asindise umhlaba wonke jikelele.

Imicabango yokuFundisa KuloMlayezo

  1. “Imisebenzi yokuqaphela ingasetshenziswa ukwenza ube nothando futhi usize abafundi babhekane nesihloko sesifundo. … Izithombe zingamathuluzi awusizo mayelana nokungezelela umbono obalulekile wesifundo futhi usize abafundi ukuba bahlale beqhaphile” (Teaching, No Greater Call [1999],160, 176).
