Introduction to the United States and Canada Section

Ground is broken for the Burley Idaho Temple on June 4, 2022. Elder Brent H. Nielson (center) of the Presidency of the Seventy, who grew up in Burley, presided at the ceremony and shared these thoughts in his dedicatory prayer: “As we turn this soil, we pray for an eternal harvest as a house of the Lord, a holy temple, rises out of the ground in this place.”
