How Does Following the Lord’s Example Help Us Be Converted?
When we study the life of Jesus Christ, we gain a deeper understanding of our own nature. The more we follow His example and teachings, the more we’ll be like Him. Through His Atonement we’ll receive the strength, guidance, and power to become converted. As we follow the Lord’s example, we will become converted to His gospel.
President Dallin H. Oaks, First Counselor in the First Presidency, taught, “Now is the time for each of us to work toward our personal conversion, toward becoming what our Heavenly Father desires us to become.”1
