ʻOku kaunga e faleʻi ʻa e ʻEikí kia ʻEma Sāmitá ki he taha kotoa.

Faitōnunga ki he hā? Faitōnunga kiate kitautolu ki he lelei taha ʻoku tau maʻú. ʻOku ʻikai totonu ke fakasiʻia ʻe ha fefine ia, ke tukuhifo ia, ke toʻo maʻamaʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻokú ne lavá mo hono iví. Tuku ke faitōnunga ʻa e taha kotoa ʻi he ngaahi ʻulungaanga maʻongoʻonga, mo fakalangi ʻoku ʻiate iá. Faitōnunga ʻi he ongoongoleleí.

ʻOku ou ongoʻi e ngaahi lea ko ia naʻe fai kia ʻEma Sāmitá, pea kiate kitautolu kotoa, ko ha tuʻunga ke tauhi kapau ʻoku tau fie maʻu ha tofiʻa ʻi he puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá. Naʻe ui ʻa ʻEma “ko e fefine kuo fili” [T&F 25: 3]. ʻA ia, ko hono fakalea ʻe taha he folofolá, ko e “meʻangāue kuo fili ʻe he ʻEikí.” (Vakai, Molonai 7:31.) Ko kimoutolu takitaha ko ha fefine kuo fili. Kuo mou mavahe mei māmani ko e kau fakahoko ʻo e ongoongolelei ʻo Sīsū Kalaisi kuo fakafoki maí. Kuó ke ʻosi fai hoʻo filí, pea kapau ʻokú ke moʻui taau mo ia, ʻe fakalāngilangiʻi koe ai ʻe he ʻEikí mo fakahīkihikiʻi. …

Naʻe pau ke fakanofo ʻa ʻEma9 ʻi he nima ʻo Siosefá ke ne “fakamatalaʻi e ngaahi folofolá, pea ke ekinaki ki he Siasí, ʻo fakatatau ki he meʻa ʻe foaki kiate koe ʻe hoku Laumālié” [T&F 25:7].

Te ne hoko ko ha faiako. Te ne hoko ko ha faiako ʻo e māʻoniʻoní mo e moʻoní. Naʻe folofola ange ʻa e ʻEikí kiate ia fekauʻaki mo hono uí, “Te ke maʻu ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní, pea ʻe fakafemoʻuekinaʻi ʻa ho taimí ki he fai tohí, pea ke ako lahi” [T&F 25:8].

Naʻe fakamahinoʻi ia ʻi he ngaahi fakahā kimui ai ʻoku kaunga kiate kitautolu kātoa.

ʻI he fakalea ʻo e fakahaá, naʻe pau ke ne “fakamatalaʻi e ngaahi folofolá, pea ke ekinaki ki he Siasí, ʻo fakatatau ki he meʻa ʻe foaki kiate koe ʻe hoku Laumālié.”

He toki fekau fakaʻofoʻofa moʻoni ne ʻoange kiate ia pea mo e kau fafine kotoa ʻo e Siasi ko ʻení. Kuo pau ke fai ha ako, kuo pau ke fai ha teuteu, kuo pau ke fai ha fokotuʻutuʻu ʻo e fakakaukaú, kuo pau ke fai hano fakamatalaʻi ʻo e folofolá, kuo pau ke fai ha ekinaki ki he ngaahi ngāue leleí hangē ko hono fakahinohino ʻe he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní

Naʻe hoko atu e ʻEikí, “ʻOku ou pehē kiate koe ke ke liʻaki ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻo e māmaní, pea fekumi ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻo ha maama lelei ange” [T&F 25:10].

ʻOku ou ongoʻi naʻe ʻikai ko ʻEne talaange kia ʻEmá ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke ne ongoʻi hohaʻa ki ha potu ke nofo ai, meʻakai ki he funga tēpilé, mo ha vala. Naʻá Ne talaangé ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke ʻāvea ʻi he ngaahi meʻa ko ʻení, he ko hotau tokolahi ʻoku fakahehema pehē. Naʻá Ne fakahā angé ke tuku ʻene fakakaukaú ki he ngaahi meʻa māʻolunga ange ʻo e moʻuí, ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻo e māʻoniʻoní mo e leleí, ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻo e manavaʻofa mo e ʻofa ki he niʻihi kehé, ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻo ʻitānití. …

Naʻe hoko atu ʻa e ʻEikí ʻo Ne folofola: “Ko ia, hiki hake ho lotó ʻo fiefia, pea pīkitai ki he ngaahi fuakava ʻa ia kuó ke faí” [T&F 25:13].

ʻOku ou tui ko ʻEne pehē maí, ʻai ke ke fiefia. Ko e ongoongoleleí ko ha meʻa fakafiefia.
