How Children Can Share the Gospel

Jesus Christ loved and served others. He shared the gospel with them and invited them to follow Him. You can help your friends learn about Jesus and feel His love too. You can show them love, share what you believe, and invite them to learn more about Jesus Christ and His Church.

Ways Children Can Share the Gospel

  • Pray to Heavenly Father for help.

  • Remind someone that God loves them—and so do you!

  • Make a new friend.

  • Ask your parents to help you serve a neighbor.

  • Share a story about how God answered your prayers.

  • Be a good example for others.

  • Invite a friend to come to church or a Primary activity with you.

Prophetic Counsel

President Russell M. Nelson has told us that every person has a “sacred responsibility to share the peace of Jesus Christ with all who will listen”—even children. You can share the gospel now and prepare to be a full-time missionary by “being a good example” and “following Jesus Christ so that His light can shine in your eyes” (“How You Can Be a Missionary,” Friend, July 2023, 2).

Pray and ask Heavenly Father to help you think of ways to share the gospel. He can help you know who is ready to learn more about Jesus Christ. He can help you be brave and know what to say. He can help you share Jesus Christ’s love with others. And He can help you feel happy and peaceful as you do!
