How Families Can Share the Gospel
“Jesus Christ established His Church to enable individuals and families to [do] His work of salvation and exaltation” (General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1.3, Gospel Library). Sharing the gospel is an important part of that great work. “Many of these people are searching for purpose in life. They are concerned for their future and their families” (Preach My Gospel: A Guide to Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ [2023], 1).

Prophetic Counsel
Pray as a family for Heavenly Father to help you share the gospel with people around you. Share your impressions and ideas with each other about how you can share the gospel as a family by acting upon the principles of “love, share, and invite.” Like the children of God in Alma 6:6, you can “join in fasting and mighty prayer in behalf of the welfare of the souls of those who knew not God.”
Follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost and support each other in your efforts. As your family shares the gospel, you will receive Heavenly Father’s blessings and feel an abundance of joy. “When we truly are in awe of Jesus Christ and His gospel, we are happier, we have more enthusiasm for God’s work” (Ulisses Soares, “In Awe of Christ and His Gospel,” Liahona, May 2022, 115).
