“Any Good?” New Era, Oct. 2005, 48
Any Good?
“Have I done any good?” (see Hymns, no. 223). I ask myself that question every time I hear that hymn. When I’m not having a good day and I’m feeling down, I realize I’m feeling that way because I’ve focused on myself and no one else.
After cheering up the sad and making someone feel glad, I find that “doing good is a pleasure, a joy beyond measure, a blessing of duty and love.”
