Exercise helps both the mind and body.

Just ask Revekahlei!

At the beginning of August, we invited you to exercise for 31 minutes each of the 31 days in the month. How is it going? What are you learning?

One young woman who completed a similar challenge told us about how exercise helped more than just her physical health.

“Starting exercising has helped me take care of my body, feel grateful for my body, and cope with depression,” Revekahlei said.

As is true with anything in life, it doesn’t always go exactly as planned. Revekahlei loves running but then tore a ligament that prevented her from doing her favorite exercise.

“I felt pretty bad about it for a while and prayed for it to heal, but then I realized God could help me grow even with my injury,” she said. She found low-impact yoga and other exercises that she could still do.

“Some days when I feel really down, I count small victories—like getting out of my room and walking around my house or doing a couple pushups,” she said. “Getting active really helps bring the Spirit into my day.”

Way to go, Revekahlei! Thanks for being an inspiration.
