YMWW: Revelation Continues

Revelation continues!

Here’s a message from the Young Men General Presidency.

Why do we say the Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the gospel when it doesn’t talk directly about temple sealings?

I love what President Dallin H. Oaks has said.

“We often hear it said that the scriptures have the answers to all of our questions. Why is this so? It is not that the scriptures contain a specific answer to every question,” President Oaks said. “We have continuing revelation in our Church because the scriptures do not have a specific answer to every possible question.”

“We say that the scriptures contain the answers to every question because the scriptures can lead us to every answer. They will put us in a position where we can obtain inspiration to answer any doctrinal or personal question whether or not that question directly concerns the subject we are studying in the scriptures.”

Isn’t it wonderful to know that revelation continues?

On another occasion, President Oaks taught, “The best way to have the spirit of revelation is to listen to and study words spoken under the influence of the Holy Ghost. In other words, we obtain the Spirit by reading the scriptures or reading or listening to the talks of inspired leaders.”

Invite YOUR Revelation

How could you improve your scripture reading this week to invite more revelation into your life?
