Have you ever participated in a council before?
It’s a time when you gather to brainstorm and share ideas and dream big dreams. You listen and learn from one another. You talk about concerns and solve problems together. It is a place where we gather together to seek revelation from the Lord. We can receive inspiration, make decisions, solve problems, and accomplish His work. Together.
👍 The Young Women General Presidency and Young Women General Advisory Council are some of my favorite people to council with.
We all come from different backgrounds and different countries. We are different ages and we speak different languages. But we all have one thing in common: we believe in Jesus Christ.
And we want to build His kingdom.
Together.
Twice a month we gather together to talk about how we can do that—how we can help accomplish His work.
And we talk about you.
You are our favorite topic.
If you ever feel alone, just know this entire group of women is cheering for you. Thinking of you. Praying for you.
You’re one of God’s girls.
You’re part of this worldwide group we call Young Women.
You are one of us.
So this is us sending all of our love to each of you.
