En man som hette Sackeus ville se Jesus. Han var kort, så han klättrade upp i ett träd för att se bättre. De flesta tyckte inte om Sackeus. Men Jesus brydde sig inte om vad andra tyckte. Han lade märke till Sackeus och bad att få komma hem till honom. (Se Lukas 19:2–10.)

Några barn kom för att träffa Jesus. Hans lärjungar ville skicka iväg dem. Men Jesus sa: ”Låt barnen komma till mig” (Markus 10:14). Han välsignade dem och umgicks med dem.

När någon är utanför kan jag be dem att vara med mig.

En kväll tog en kvinna med sig olja till Jesus som gåva. Andra sa att hon var slösaktig. Men Jesus sa: ”Låt henne vara!” (Markus 14:6). Han sa att hon hade gjort något bra.

När andra säger ovänliga saker om någon kan jag säga något vänligt i stället.
