Machu Picchu er en gammel by høyt oppe i Andesfjellene. Inkafolket bygget den for hundrevis av år siden. De brukte taubroer til å klatre over kløfter!

I elven Amazonas lever det rosa delfiner! Elven begynner oppe i fjellene i Peru og renner gjennom regnskogen i Amazonas.

Peru har tre offisielle språk: Spansk, Quechua og Aymara. De fleste snakker spansk. Dusinvis av andre språk snakkes i regnskogen i Amazonas!
