緬懷Abuela

莉安回想起探望外婆，跟她一起喝汽水的情景。Abuela會問他們問題，還有聽他們說故事。這種汽水最適合用來幫助他們記得她。當莉安看到汽水時，就會想要成為像Abuela一樣的好聽眾。

媽媽端著一盤pan de muerto（亡靈麵包）走進房間，莉安的姊姊妹妹們跑到她身邊，央求要嚐一片。那是一種甜麵包，墨西哥各地的人在Día de Muertos都會吃這種麵包。

「我們待會兒會吃一些，」媽媽說，「現在，這盤要放在供桌上Abuela的相片旁邊。」她把它放在桌上。「這看起來真漂亮！現在我們只要等爸爸下班回家就好了。」她和女孩們坐在沙發上等待。

「我好想Abuela，」莉安說，「真希望我們現在就可以再見到她。」

門開了，爸爸走進屋裡。雷拉妮歡呼起來。

「爸爸回來了！可以吃pan de muerto、喝熱巧克力了！」梅根說。

「還可以說說Abuela的故事！」莉安說。她會永遠想念Abuela，但她很高興自己可以做一些事來記得她。她知道，因為耶穌基督，有一天她會再見到Abuela。●
