“… Pea ʻoku nau ngāue tūkuingata taʻetuku ke nau fakatafoki hono toe ʻo honau kāingá ki he ʻiloʻi ʻo e moʻoní” (Hilamani 15:5–6).

Hangē ko ia ʻoku fakamamafaʻi ʻi he ngaahi sīpingá ni, ko e ngaahi tefitoʻi ʻulungaanga ʻoku fekauʻaki mo e uluí, ko hono maʻu ko ia ha liliu lahi ʻi hotau lotó, loto ke failelei maʻu ai pē, fakahoko hotau fatongiá, ʻaʻeva fakaʻehiʻehi ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá, tauhi e ngaahi fekaú, pea ngāue tūkuingata taʻetuku. ʻOku mahino naʻe mateakiʻi kakato ʻe he niʻihi faivelengá ni ʻa e ʻEikí mo ʻEne ngaahi akonakí.

Ko e sīpinga ʻeni ʻoku fakatau ki he uluí.

Fakamoʻoní mo e Uluí

Ko e fakamoʻoní ko e kamataʻanga ia mo e fie maʻu ʻuluaki ki he uluí.

ʻOku ʻikai feʻunga pea ʻe ʻikai feʻunga ʻataʻatā pē ʻa e fakamoʻoní ke maluʻi kitautolu ʻi he ngaahi faingataʻa mo e ngaahi kovi ʻoku tau moʻui ai ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho kimui ní. ʻOku mahuʻinga mo fie maʻu e fakamoʻoní ka ʻoku ʻikai feʻunga ia ke ʻomi e mālohi mo e maluʻi fakalaumālie ʻoku tau fie maʻú. Ne ʻikai feʻunga ʻenau ʻilo mo e tukupā fakalaumālié mo e ngaahi faingataʻa ne nau fehangahangai mo iá.

ʻOku hā ha lēsoni mahuʻinga kau ki he fehokotaki ʻa e fakamoʻoní mo e uluí ʻi he ngāue fakafaifekau ʻa e ngaahi foha ʻo Mōsaiá.

“Ko kinautolu kotoa naʻe fakamahino ki ai ʻa e ʻilo ki he moʻoní, ʻi he malanga ʻa ʻĀmoni mo hono kāingá, ʻo fakatatau ki he laumālie ʻo e fakahaá mo e kikité, pea mo e mālohi ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻo fakahoko ai ha ngaaahi mana ʻiate kinautolú—ʻio, … hangē ʻoku moʻui ʻa e ʻEikí, ko e tokolahi ʻo e kau Leimana naʻe tui ki heʻenau malangá, pea nau ului ki he ʻEikí, naʻe ʻikai ke nau toe hē.

“He naʻa nau hoko ko ha kakai māʻoniʻoni; naʻa nau tuku hifo ʻa e ngaahi mahafu naʻa nau angatuʻu akí, ʻo ʻikai te nau toe tauʻi ʻa e ʻOtuá. …

“Ko ʻeni, ko e faʻahinga ʻeni ʻa ia naʻa nau ului ki he ʻEikí” (ʻAlamā 23:6–8).

ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe he ngaahi vēsí ni ha meʻa mahuʻinga ʻe ua: (1) ko hono ʻiloʻi ʻo e moʻoní, ʻa ia ʻe ala fakaʻuhingaʻi pē ko ha fakamoʻoní, mo e (2) ko e ului ki he ʻEikí, ʻa ia ko ʻene mahino kiate aú ko e ului ki he Fakamoʻuí mo ʻEne ongoongoleleí. Ko ia, ʻoku ʻomi ʻe hono fakatahaʻi lelei ʻo e fakamoʻoní mo e ului ki he ʻEikí ʻa e tuʻu maʻu mo e tuʻu ʻaliʻaliakí pea mo ha maluʻi fakalaumālie.

Naʻe ʻikai ke nau toe hē pea nau tuku hifo “e ngaahi mahafu naʻa nau angatuʻu ʻakí, ʻo ʻikai te nau toe tauʻi ʻa e ʻOtuá.” ʻOku fie maʻu ha meʻa lahi ange ia ʻi he tui pē mo e ʻiló ke tuku hifo e “ngaahi mahafu ʻoku [tau tauhi ʻo] angatuʻu ʻakí” hangē ko e siokitá, hīkisiá, mo e talangataʻá. ʻOku muʻomuʻa ʻa e tuí, loto fakatōkilaló, fakatomalá, mo e fakavaivaiʻi kitautolú, ʻi hono siʻaki ʻo e ngaahi mahafu ʻoku tau angatuʻu ʻakí. Kapau ʻoku ʻio, ta ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau fakatomala he taimí ni pē.

Fakatokangaʻi ange naʻe ʻikai ului e kau Leimaná ki he kau faifekau ne akoʻi kinautolú pe ki he ngaahi polokalama fakaʻofoʻofa ʻa e Siasí. Naʻe ʻikai ke nau ului ki he ʻulungaanga ʻo honau kau takí pe ke fakatolonga ha tofiʻa pe tukufakaholo fakafonua ʻenau ngaahi tamaí. Naʻa nau ului ki he ʻEikí—kiate Ia ko honau Fakamoʻuí pea ki Hono fakalangí mo ʻEne tokāteliné—pea naʻe ʻikai ke nau toe hē.

Ko e fakamoʻoní ko hano ʻiloʻi fakalaumālie ia ʻo e moʻoni naʻe maʻu ʻi he mālohi ʻo e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní. Ko e ului hokohokó ko hono mateakiʻi maʻu pē ʻo e moʻoni kuo fakahā mai ʻo tau maʻú—ʻaki ha loto pea mo ha ngaahi taumuʻa māʻoniʻoni. Ko e uho ʻo ha fakamoʻoni ko hono ʻiloʻi ʻoku moʻoni ʻa e ongoongoleleí. Ko e uho ʻo e uluí ʻa e tauhi moʻoni maʻu pē ki he ongoongoleleí. ʻOku totonu ke tau ʻiloʻi ʻoku moʻoni ʻa e ongoongoleleí pea tau tauhi moʻoni ki he ongoongoleleí.

Fakamoʻoní, Uluí, mo e Talanoa Fakatātā ʻo e Kau Tāupoʻou ʻe Toko Hongofulú

ʻOku ou fie fakaʻaongaʻi he taimí ni ha taha ʻo hono ngaahi fakaʻuhingaʻi ʻo e talanoa fakatātā ʻo e kau tāupoʻou ʻe toko hongofulú ke fakamamafaʻi ʻaki e fekauʻaki ʻa e fakamoʻoní mo e uluí. Kātaki ʻo fakakaukau ki he ngaahi maama ʻa e kau tāupoʻoú ko e ngaahi maama ia ʻo e fakamoʻoní. Ne ʻave ʻe he kau tāupoʻou valé ʻenau ngaahi māmá kae ʻikai ʻave mo ha lolo. Fakakaukau ki he loló ko e lolo ia ʻo e uluí.

“Ka naʻe ʻave ʻe he potó ʻa e lolo [ʻo e uluí] ʻi heʻenau ngaahi ipú mo ʻenau ngaahi maama [ʻo e fakamoʻoní].

“Pea ʻi he tuai mai ʻa e tangata taʻané, naʻa nau tulemohe kotoa pē ʻo mohe.

“Pea tuʻuapō mālié mo ʻene pā mai ʻa e kalangá, Vakai ʻoku haʻu ʻa e tangata taʻané; mou ʻalu atu ʻo fakafetaulaki kiate ia.

“Pea toki tuʻu hake ʻa e kau taupoʻou kotoa pē ko iá, ʻo teuteu ʻenau tūhulu [ʻo e fakamoʻoní].

“Pea lea ʻa e valé ki he potó, Foaki mai maʻamautolu ʻi hoʻomou loló [ʻa e lolo ʻo e uluí]; he ʻoku teu mate ʻemau tūhulu [ʻo e fakamoʻoní].

“Ka naʻe lea ʻa e potó, ʻo pehē ange, Ka koeʻuhí naʻa siʻi ia kiate kimautolu mo kimoutolu: ka mou ʻalu kiate kinautolu ʻoku fakataú, ʻo fakatau maʻamoutolu” (Mātiu 25:4–9).

Naʻe siokita nai mo taʻe fie vahevahe e kau tāupoʻou poto ʻe toko nimá, pe naʻa nau fakahā totonu ange pē he ʻikai lava ʻo kole ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e lolo ʻo e uluí? Ko e tali mahino ki he ngaahi fehuʻi takitaha ko ʻení ko e ʻikai.

Hangē ko hono fakamamafaʻi totonu ʻe he kau tāupoʻou potó, kuo pau ke tau takitaha “fakatau maʻatautolu.” Naʻe ʻikai fakamatala e kau fafine ko ʻeni ne ueʻi fakalaumālié ki ha fefakatauʻaki fakapisinisi; ka ko ʻenau fakamamafaʻi hotau fatongia fakafoʻituitui ke tauhi ke kei ulo ʻetau maama ʻo e fakamoʻoní mo tauhi ha lolo feʻunga ʻo e uluí. ʻOku maʻu e lolo mahuʻingá ni ko e tulutā ki he tulutā—“ʻa e ʻotu lea ki he ʻotu lea [mo e] akonaki ki he akonaki” (2 Nīfai 28:30), ʻi he faʻa kātaki mo e vilitaki.

“Ko ia, ke mo tui faivelenga, ʻo lotu maʻu ai pē, pea teuteuʻi mo tutu hoʻomo māmá, pea ke ʻiate kimoua ʻa e lolo, koeʻuhí ke mo mateuteu ʻi he hāʻele mai ʻa e Tangata Taʻané” (T&F 33:17).
