Naʻe tuʻu fakatuʻutāmaki ʻa e moʻui ʻa e kau Nīfaí koeʻuhí ko e fekeʻikeʻí, angatuʻú mo e taú. Ka naʻe ʻikai ko e kau Leimaná pē ʻa e tupuʻanga ʻo e fakafepakí. ʻAlamā 43:2–3.“Ko e Ngaahi Tau ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo e kau Nīfaí mo e kau Leimaná”

  • ʻI he aʻu ko ia ki he taimi ko ʻeni ʻi he tohi ʻa ʻAlamaá, vahe 43–62, ʻoku fakatokanga mai ai ʻa Molomona ki he tokotaha laukongá te ne “toe foki ki ha fakamatala ʻo e ngaahi taú” (ʻAlamā 43:3). ʻOku fifili ha niʻihi pe ko e hā ʻoku lahi pehē ai e ngaahi fakamatala ki he taú ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná. Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni ʻEselā Tafu Penisoni (1899–1994) ʻoku “tau ako mei he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻa e anga e moʻui e kau ākonga ʻa Kalaisí he taimi ʻo e taú” (ʻi he Conference Report, Oct. 1986, 5; pe Ensign, Nov. 1986, 7).

Kumi ki he ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e ongoongoleleí ʻoku fakakau ʻe Molomona ʻi he ngaahi vahe ko ʻeni ʻo e taú. Kuo fakatou fakamatalaʻi ʻe Molomona mo e kau palōfita ʻo onopōní ʻa e ngaahi tūkunga ʻoku fakaʻatā ai ʻa e taú (vakai, fakamatala ki he ʻAlamā 43:45–47 ʻi he peesi 286 pea ki he ʻAlamā 51:13 ʻi he peesi 291).

Naʻe fakamatala ʻa Palesiteni Kōtoni B. Hingikelī (1910–2008) ki he mamahi fakalangi ʻoku omi fakataha mo e ngaahi meʻa peheé, pea aʻu pē ki he taimi ʻoku tali ai ke fai ha taú: “ ʻOku ou tui au ne tutulu ʻetau Tamaí ʻi Heʻene ʻafio ki Heʻene fānaú, ʻa ia kuo laui senituli ʻenau maumauʻi ʻa honau tofiʻa fakalangí ʻi heʻenau fai fakamamahi ʻo fefakaʻauhaʻaki ʻa kinautolú” (ʻi he Conference Report, Apr. 2003, 82; pe Liahona, Mē 2003, 79). Naʻe fakahaaʻi ʻe he kau Nīfaí mo e ʻEikitau ko Molonaí e ʻulungāanga totonu ki he taú mo e lilingi totó (vakai, fakamatala ki he ʻAlamā 43:54; 44:1–2; 48:11, 22–23 ʻi he peesi 286-287).

  • ʻI he taimi ʻo e Tau Lahi Hono II ʻa Māmaní, ne fai ai ʻe he Kau Palesitenisī ʻUluakí ʻa e fakamatalá ni, ʻo fakamahinoʻi ʻa e tuʻunga ʻoku ʻi ai e Siasí ʻi heʻene fekauʻaki mo e taú:

“… Ko ia ai, ʻi he taimi ʻoku talangofua ai e lao fakakonisitūtoné ki he ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení, ʻo ui e kau tangata ʻi he Siasí ki he ngāue fakakautaú ʻi ha fonua pē ʻoku totonu ke nau mateakiʻí, ʻoku fie maʻu leva ʻe honau fatongia fakasivile māʻolunga tahá ke nau fakahoko e ui ko iá. Kapau te nau tali e ui ko iá, pea talangofua kiate kinautolu ʻoku pule kiate kinautolú, o nau toʻo ai e moʻui ʻa kinautolu ʻoku nau tauʻí, he ʻikai ui ʻa kinautolu ko e kau tāmate tangata” (Heber J. ʻAlamā 43:4–8. Fakanofo ʻa e Kau Nīfai Angatuʻú Ko Ha Kau ʻEikitau ʻi he Kau Tau Leimaná

  • Ne ʻi ai ha taimi ne kau ʻa e kau Sōlamí kimuʻa ki he puleʻanga ʻo e kau Nīfaí. Neongo ne ʻi ai ha niʻihi ʻo e kau Sōlamí ne toe fakafoki mai ki he tuí, ne ʻita honau tokolahi pea “kamata ke fetuʻutaki mo e kau Leimaná, ʻo nau ueʻi hake mo kinautolu” ʻi he teuteu ko ia ki he taú (ʻAlamā 35:10–11). Ne fakanofo ʻe he kau taki tau ʻa e kau Leimaná ʻa e kau Sōlami mo e kau ʻAmalekaia angafītaʻa angé ko e kau ʻeikitau pule ʻi he feinga ko ia ke nau puleʻi e kau Nīfaí.

“Naʻe fakaafeʻi ʻe he kau Sōlamí … ʻa e kau Leimana angatuʻú ke nau omi pea nofoʻi honau fonuá pea ko e fuofua fakafetau lahi ia ki he kau Nīfaí (ʻAlamā 43:5). Ne taki kinautolu ʻe he ʻeikitau pule Leimana, ʻa e ʻAmalekai ko Seilahemená. Ko e kau ʻAmalekaí ko ha kau Nīfai ne angatuʻu ʻi ha kuonga kimuʻa, pea hangē ko e kau angatuʻu tokolahi ne nau fehiʻa lahi ange ki he kau Nīfaí pea ‘fai angahala mo loto fakapō lahi ange ʻi he kau Leimaná’ (ʻAlamā 43:6). Ne ʻosi fakapapauʻi ʻe Seilahemena kuo fokotuʻu ki he ngaahi tuʻunga pule fakakautaú ha kau ʻAmalekai hangē ko iá pe ko ha tokotaha Sōlami angafītaʻa tatau. (ʻAlamā 43:6)” (Hugh Nibley, Since Cumorah, 2nd ed. [1988], 296).

ʻAlamā 43:13–14. Tokolahi Pea Pau Ai Ke Nau Tau mo Honau Filí

  • Ne mei tokolahi tatau pē ʻa e tokolahi ʻo e kau Nīfai angatuʻu ne hoko ko e kau Leimaná mo e kau Nīfai ne tuʻu maʻú (vakai, ʻAlamā 43:14). Ne hanga ʻe he tokolahi ko ʻení, fakataha mo e kau tau ʻa e kau Leimaná ʻo fokotuʻu e kau Nīfaí ʻi ha tuʻunga ne ʻikai lelei fakafika (vakai, ʻAlamā 43:51; vakai foki, Mōsaia 25:3; ʻAlamā 2:27, 35). Ka naʻa nau fakafalala ki heʻenau tuí, naʻe falala ʻa e kau Nīfaí ʻe fakamālohia kinautolu ʻe he ʻOtuá lolotonga ʻenau ngaahi taú neongo e lahi e ngaahu meʻa ne nau fehangahangai mo iá, ʻo hangē ko ia naʻá Ne fai maʻá e kau tau ʻa Kitioné (vakai, Fakamaau 7–9), ʻIlaisa (vakai, 2 Ngaahi Tuʻi 6:15–23), Tuʻi ko Penisimaní (vakai, Ngaahi Lea ʻa Molomoná 1:14), mo ʻAlamā (vakai, ʻAlamā 2:27–35).

ʻAlamā 43:15–54. Ne Ngāue ʻAki ʻe he ʻEikitau ko Molonaí ʻa e Tuí mo e Palani Fakakautaú ke Maluʻi ʻa e Kau Nīfaí

“Naʻe taki e feinga tau ʻa e kau Leimaná ʻe he kau ʻōfisa ʻAmalekai mo e Sōlamí, ʻa ia ne mei hanga ʻe heʻenau ʻilo ki he ngaahi meʻa fakapulipuli fakakautau ʻa e kau Nīfaí mo ʻenau ngaahi founga ngāué ʻo ʻai ke nau mālohi ʻi ha ʻeikitau pē tuku kehe pē ʻa Molonai. ʻI he kamataʻangá pē ne hanga ʻe heʻene tomuʻa palaní ʻo toʻo meiate kinautolu ʻa ʻenau taumuʻa ʻuluaki mo ngali fakapotopotó—ʻa e fonua ngataʻanga ko Selesoní (ʻAlamā 43:22). Naʻá ne fokotuʻu ai ʻa hono tefitoʻi feituʻu ke fai mei ai e maluʻí, ka ʻi he foki mai ʻa e kau talafekaú hili ʻenau talatalaifale mo e palōfitá, naʻá ne ʻilo ʻoku palani e kau Leimaná ke fakaʻohovaleʻi kinautolu ʻaki e fakataumuʻa ʻenau ʻohofí ki he feituʻu ʻoku faingataʻa e aʻu ki aí ka ʻoku vaivai ange ko Manataí, ʻa ia he ʻikai fai ha ʻamanaki ki aí (ʻAlamā 43:24). Ne hiki leva ʻe Molonai e konga lahi ʻo ʻene kau taú he taimi pē ko iá ki Manatai pea ʻai ke mateuteu e kakai ʻi aí (ʻAlamā 43:25–26).

“ ʻI hono tala kia Molonai ʻe heʻene kau matakí mo e kau asiasí ʻa e meʻa kotoa ʻa e kau Leimaná ʻoku faí, naʻá ne lava leva ʻo faʻufaʻu ha tauhele maʻa hono ngaahi filí, ʻo ne maʻu kinautolu ʻoku ʻikai ke nau mateuteu ʻi heʻene kolosi ko ia he vaitafe Saitoné (ʻAlamā 43:28–35)” (Hugh Nibley, Since Cumorah, 297–98).

Naʻe ʻamanaki ʻa e ʻeikitau ko Molonaí ki he ngaahi tāpuaki ʻa e ʻEikí he naʻá ne fai ʻa hono lelei tahá. Mahalo ko e tokotaha ʻatamaʻia taha ia ʻi hono ʻahó ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakakautaú, ka naʻá ne kei fakahā pē ha loto fakatōkilalo ʻaki ʻene muimui ki he faleʻi ʻa e palōfitá. Ne hoko ai heni ʻa e ʻEikitau ko Molonaí ko ha meʻangāue mālohi ʻi he toʻukupu ʻo e ʻOtuá.

ʻAlamā 43:18–22, 37–38. Ko e Hā Nai Ha Teunga Maluʻi ʻOku Tau Maʻu He ʻAhó Ni?

  • Ne ʻoange ʻe he ʻEikitau ko Molonaí ha teunga maluʻi maʻa ʻene kau taú, ʻa ia naʻe hoko ai ha faikehekehe lahi ʻi he ngaahi tau mo honau ngaahi filí (vakai, ʻAlamā 43:37–38). Naʻe fakamatala ʻa Palesiteni Hāloti B. Lī (1899–1973) ki ha founga ʻe taha ʻe lava ke ngāue ʻaki ʻa e ngaahi vēsí ni ʻi heʻetau moʻuí he ʻahó ni:

ʻAlamā 43:23–25. ʻOku ʻOmi ʻe he Talangofua ki he Palōfitá ʻa e Ngaahi Tāpuakí

ʻAlamā 43:54; 44:1–2; 48:11, 22–23. “Naʻe ʻIkai Manako ʻa [Molonai] ki he Lilingi Totó”
