Ko e meʻa ne tomuʻa hoko ʻi he faingataʻaʻia ko ʻeni ʻa e kau ʻIsilelí ko ʻenau lea kovi ki he ʻOtuá mo ʻEne kau palōfitá (vakai, Nōmipa 21:5), ʻo hangē pē ko ia ne fai ʻe he kau fakamaau kovi ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo Nīfaí. Ko hono hiki hake ko ia ʻe Mōsese ʻa e ngata palasá ko ha fakataipe ia (ko ha fakatatau) ʻo hono tutuki ʻo Kalaisí. ʻI he sio atu ʻa e kakaí ki he ngata palasá, naʻe fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu.

Ne lava ke ikunaʻi maʻá e tokotaha kotoa ʻe fakatomalá ʻa e huhu kona ʻa Sētané ʻo fakafou ʻi he feilaulau fakalelei ʻa Kalaisí . Naʻá ne fakamanatu ange leva ki hono kakaí ne fakamoʻoni ʻa e kau palōfita kotoa pē kia Kalaisi (vakai, Hilamani 8:16–23).

  • Naʻe hanga ʻe ʻEletā Niila A. Mekisuele (1926–2004) ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ʻo toe fakamahinoʻi ʻa e fakataipe ko ia ʻo e ngata palasá ʻi hono toe fakamatalaʻi ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná:

“ ʻOku ʻi ai ha fakataipe fakalangi mo mahuʻinga ʻi he talanoá. “Ne pehē ʻe Paula ki he kāingalotu ʻi Kolinitoó, ‘Pea pehē foki, ʻOku ʻilo ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e ngaahi mahalo ʻo e potó, ko e vaʻinga ia.’ (1 Kolinitō 3:20.) ʻI he vahaʻataimi ko ia kimuʻa he lōmakí, ne ʻikai ngata ʻi hono ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻa e faiangahala ʻa e tangatá he māmaní, ka naʻá ne toe ʻafio foki ki he ‘filioʻi kotoa pē ʻo e ngaahi mahalo’ ʻo e loto ʻo e tangatá. (Sēnesi 6:5.) ʻOkú Ne ʻafioʻi ʻa e ‘ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hū mai ki homou lotó.’ (ʻIsikeli 11:5.) Naʻe folofola ʻa Sīsū tonu ʻo pehē kimuʻa pea tau lotú, ‘ʻOku ʻilo ʻe hoʻomou Tamaí ʻi he heʻeki ai te mou kole kiate Iá.” (Mātiu 6:8.) Ko e moʻoní, ʻo hangē ko e lea ʻa Nīfaí, ‘ ʻoku …ʻafioʻi [‘e he ‘Otuá] ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē, pea ʻoku ʻikai ha meʻa ʻoku ʻikai te ne taʻeʻafioʻi. (2 Nīfai 9:20)

“Ko ia ai ko e tokaimaʻanagá ko e taha ia ʻo e ngaahi ʻulungāanga ʻo e ʻOtua moʻuí. Hangē ko ia ʻoku tau lau ʻi he Hilamani 9:41, ‘He ka ne ʻikai ko ha ʻOtua ia, pehē he ʻikai te ne faʻa ʻiloʻi ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē.’ ‘Pea ko ʻeni, vakai, kuó ke maʻu ha fakamoʻoni; he kapau kuó u fakahā kiate koe ha ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻikai ʻiloʻi ʻe ha tangata ʻe toko taha ʻikai kuó ke maʻu ha fakamoʻoni?’ (T&F 6:24.)” (Things As They Really Are [1978], 22).
