Self-compassion

Be compassionate with yourself. Being a missionary is challenging. If you feel like you did a poor job teaching a lesson or answering someone’s question one day, don’t beat yourself up over it. Rather, talk to yourself as you would a close friend or family member that you love. Speak kind words to yourself. Recognize that we all fall short of the glory of God. Do your best. When you fall, get back up, kindly dust yourself off, learn from your experience, and keep going.

Some challenges you face will require you to stretch and grow. These experiences can be stressful and difficult, but as you continue to look to the Lord and turn to Him, He will bless you and will qualify you for the work.
