Ko ha Moʻui Fakatefito ʻia Kalaisi

“Ko e fua lelei taha ʻo e maʻongoʻonga moʻoní ko e lahi ʻo ʻetau anga faka-Kalaisí.”

Mei he Moʻui ʻa ʻEselā Tafu Penisoní

Naʻe faʻa ngāue ʻaki ʻe Palesiteni ʻEselā Tafu Penisoni ʻa e faleʻi ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ki he kau ākonga Nīfai ʻe toko hongofulu mā uá: “Ko e hā ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kimoutolú?

Naʻe lea ʻa Palesiteni Penisoni, hili ʻene līʻoa ʻene moʻuí ke ngāue maʻá e ʻEikí, ʻi he mālohi mo e fakapapau ʻi he taimi naʻá ne vahevahe ai ʻa e ngaahi lea ʻo e fakamoʻoni ko ʻení:

“ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni atu ʻoku ʻikai ha tukupā ʻe māʻolunga ange, fakafiefia ange, mo fakaʻeiʻeiki ange ki he laumālié ʻi he ako ʻia Kalaisi mo ʻaʻeva ʻi Hono ʻalungá. Naʻe ʻaʻeva hotau faʻifaʻitakiʻanga ko Sīsū Kalaisí, he māmaní ko hotau ʻFaʻifaʻitakiʻanga.ʻ Ko hotau Taukapo ia ki he Tamaí. Naʻá Ne fakahoko ʻa e feilaulau maʻongoʻonga ʻo e fakaleleí koeʻuhí ka tau maʻu ʻa e kakato ʻo e fiefiá mo e hakeakiʻí ʻo fakatatau mo ʻEne ʻaloʻofá pea mo ʻetau fakatomalá mo e angatonú. Naʻá Ne fakahoko kakato ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē mo fekau ke tau haohaoa ʻo hangē ko ʻEne haohaoa mo ʻEne Tamaí. (Vakai, 3 Nīfai 12:48.)

“ʻKo e hā ne mei fai ʻe Sīsuú?ʻ pe ʻKo e hā naʻá Ne mei ʻai ke u faí?ʻ ʻa e ongo fehuʻi mahuʻinga fakafoʻitāutaha taha ia ʻo e moʻui ko ʻení. Ko e lavameʻa maʻongoʻonga taha ʻo e moʻuí ke ʻaʻeva ʻi Hono halá. Ko e tangata pe fefine ʻoku lavameʻa moʻoni tahá ʻa ē ʻoku faitatau taha ʻene moʻuí mo ia ʻa e ʻEikí.”2

“ʻOfa ke tau maʻu kotoa ha loto toʻa moʻoni mei he momenití ni ʻo faai atu ke tau feinga kakato ange ʻi he ʻaho takitaha ke fakakaukau kia Kalaisi, ako ʻiate Ia, ʻaʻeva ʻi Hono ʻalungá, mo fakahoko ʻa ia naʻá Ne mei fie maʻu ke tau faí.”3

“Pea talaange ʻe Sīsū … , Ko au ko e hala, mo e moʻoni, pea mo e moʻui: ʻoku ʻikai haʻu ha tangata ʻe taha ki he Tamaí, kae ʻiate au” (Sione 14:6).

Ngaahi Akonaki ʻa ʻEselā Tafu Penisoní

1

ʻOku ʻomi ʻe he sīpinga mo e ngaahi akonaki ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí ʻa e tuʻunga maʻongoʻonga ki he faʻahinga kotoa ʻo e tangatá.

Naʻe ʻaʻeva ʻi he taʻu ʻe uaafe kuo hilí ha tangata haohaoa ʻi he māmaní: Sīsū Kalaisi. Ko e ʻalo ia ʻo ha tamai fakalangi mo ha faʻē fakamāmani. Ko e ʻOtua ia ʻo e māmani ko ʻení, ʻi he malumalu ʻo e Tamaí. Naʻá Ne akoʻi ki he tangatá ʻa e moʻoní, koeʻuhí ke nau lava ʻo tauʻatāina. ʻOku ʻomai Heʻene sīpingá mo e ngaahi akonakí ʻa e tuʻunga maʻongoʻonga, ʻa e founga pau pē taha, ki he faʻahinga kotoa ʻo e tangatá.4

He ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo mafakakaukaua ʻetau moʻuí taʻe kau ai ʻene ngaahi akonakí. Ka ʻikai ia te tau hē ʻi ha ngaahi tui mo ha ngaahi tui fakalotu loi, ʻoku tupu ʻi he ilifiá mo e fakapoʻulí ʻa ia ʻoku mālohi ai ʻa e anga fakakakanó mo e tokanga ki he koloá. ʻOku tau tō-nounou ʻi he taumuʻa naʻá Ne fokotuʻu maʻatautolú, ka kuo pau ke ʻoua naʻa puli ia meiate kitautolu; pe ʻe ngalo ʻiate kitautolu ʻa ʻetau fononga maʻongoʻonga ki he māmá, ki he haohaoá, he ʻikai lava ia tukukehe ʻi Heʻene ngaahi ʻakonakí, ʻEne moʻuí, ʻEne pekiá, mo ʻEne toetuʻú.

… Kuo pau ke tau ako mo toe ako pea toki lava pē ʻi heʻetau tali mo moʻui ʻaki e ongoongolelei ʻo e ʻofá ʻo hangē ko ia ne akoʻi ʻe he ʻEikí pea mo toki lava pē ʻi he fai Hono finangaló haʻatau lava ke veteki ʻa e ngaahi haʻi ʻo e taʻe-ʻiló pea mo eveiveiua ʻokú ne haʻi kitautolú. Kuo pau ke tau ʻilo ʻa e foʻi moʻoni faingofua mo nāunauʻia ko ʻení kae lava ke tau aʻusia ʻa e fiefia lelei ʻo e laumālié he taimí ni pea taʻengata. Kuo pau ke tau femoʻuekina ʻi Hono fai hono finangaló. Kuo pau ke tau fakamuʻomuʻa ia ʻi heʻetau moʻuí.5

ʻI he vahe 14 ʻo e tohi ʻa Sioné, ʻoku fakahoko ai ʻe Sīsū ʻi he ʻofa ʻa ʻEne lea tuku ki Heʻene kau ākongá ʻi he hili ʻa e ʻohomohe fakaʻosí.

(Sione 14:5–6.) ʻOku ʻi muʻa ʻiate kitautolu ʻaó ʻa e halá. ʻOku ʻosi fakaʻilongaʻi mahino.6

2

ʻOku tau haʻu kia Kalaisi ʻi heʻetau hanga kiate Ia ʻi he fakakaukau kotoa mo faʻifaʻitaki ki Hono ngaahi ʻulungāngá.

ʻI he fakalea ʻo e Tohi ʻa Molomoná, ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau “tui kia Kalaisi pea ʻikai fakaʻikaiʻi ia.” ʻOku fie maʻu ke tau haʻu “ʻo keinanga ʻi he folofola ʻa Kalaisí” (2 Nīfai 31:20), ʻi heʻetau maʻu ia ʻi Heʻene ngaahi folofolá, ʻEne kau paní, mo Hono Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní.

Ko hono fakanounoú, ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau muimui ʻi he “faʻifaʻitaki ki he sīpinga ʻa e ʻAlo ʻo e ʻOtua moʻuí” (2 Nīfai 31:16).7

Naʻe folofola ʻa e ʻEikí, “Sio pē kiate au ʻi he fakakaukau kotoa pē.” (T&F 6:36.) Ko e sio ki he ʻEikí ʻi he fakakaukau kotoa peé ko e founga pē ia ʻe taha te tau lava ai ʻo fai ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kitautolú.

Naʻe fai ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e fehuʻi ki Heʻene kau ākongá, “Ko e hā ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kimoutolú?” (Molonai 4:3; 5:2; T&F 20:77, 79.)

Kapau ʻoku ʻai heʻetau ngaahi fakakaukaú kitautolu ki he tuʻunga ʻoku tau ʻi aí, pea kuo pau ke tau hangē ko Kalaisí, pea tā kuo pau ke tau fakakaukau faka-Kalaisi. Tuku ke u toe fakaongo atu ia: Kapau ʻoku ʻai heʻetau ngaahi fakakaukaú kitautolu ki he tuʻunga ʻoku tau ʻi aí, pea kuo pau ke tau hangē ko Kalaisí, pea tā kuo pau ke tau fakakaukau faka-Kalaisi.

… ʻOku totonu ke tuku ʻetau ngaahi fakakaukaú ki he ʻEikí. ʻOku totonu ke tau fakakaukau kia Kalaisi.8

Tuku ke fakafōtunga ʻe heʻetau moʻuí, hotau ngaahi ʻapí, mo ʻetau ngāué hotau ʻulungaanga faka-Kalaisí. Moʻui taau ke pehē ʻe he niʻihi kehé fekauʻaki mo kimoutolu, “Ko e Kalisitiane moʻoni ʻena!”

ʻIo, ʻoku tau tui kia Sīsū Kalaisi, kae lahi ange—ke tau hanga kiate Ia, tau falala kiate Ia mo feinga ke faʻifaʻitaki ki Hono ngaahi ʻulungāngá.9

Ko Kalaisi ʻa hotau faʻifaʻitakiʻanga totonú. Ko Ia hotau faʻifaʻitakiʻangá. … Ko e fakafuofuaʻi lelei taha ʻo e maʻongoʻonga moʻoní ko e lahi ʻo ʻetau anga faka-Kalaisí.10

He toki meʻa faingataʻa ia ki ha taha— ke hangē ko e Fakamoʻuí! Ko ha mēmipa ia ʻo e Toluʻi ʻOtuá. Ko e Fakamoʻuí mo e Huhuʻí Ia. Naʻe haohaoa Iaʻi he tapa kotoa pē ʻo ʻEne moʻuí. Naʻe ʻikai ha fehalaaki pe tōnounou ʻiate Ia. ʻOku malava nai ke tau … hoko ʻo hangē ko Iá? Ko e talí ko e ʻio. ʻOku ʻikai ngata pē ʻi heʻetau lavá, ka ko ʻetau tukupā, mo hotau fatongiá. Naʻe ʻikai ke Ne mei foaki mai ʻa e fekau ko iá kapau naʻe ʻikai ko Hono finangalo ke tau fai ia [vakai, Mātiu 5:48; 3 Nīfai 12:48].

Christ has His hand on Peter's shoulder as He instructs Peter to "feed my sheep." The other Apostles are seated on the ground as they watch. There is a fishing boat in the background.

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe he ʻAposetolo ko Pitá, ʻoku hā heni mo Sīsū Kalaisi kuo toetuʻú, kau ki he founga te tau lava ai ʻo faʻifaʻitaki ki he ʻulungaanga ʻo e Fakamoʻuí.

ʻOku mahuʻinga ʻeni, he kapau te tau hoko ko e kau maʻu ʻinasi moʻoni ʻi he anga fakalangí, te tau hoko ʻo tatau mo Ia. Tau vakavakaiʻi fakalelei muʻa ʻa e meʻa ʻoku akoʻi ʻe Pita fekauʻaki mo e founga ko ʻení. Ko e meʻa ʻeni naʻá ne lea ʻakí:

“Pea koeʻuhí ko ia, ke mou mātuʻaki fai [velenga], ʻo [tānaki] hake hoʻomou tuí ki he loto toʻá; pea ki he loto toʻá ʻa e ʻiló;

“Pea ki he ʻiló ʻa e faʻa taʻofí; pea ki he faʻa taʻofí ʻa e faʻa kātakí; pea ki he faʻa kātakí ʻa e anga faka-ʻotuá;

“Pea ki he anga faka-ʻotuá ʻa e angalelei fakakāingá; pea ki he angalelei fakakāingá ʻa e ʻofá” (2 Pita 5–7).

Ko e ngaahi ʻulungaanga ne fakamatalaʻi ʻe Pitá ko e konga pē ia ʻo e natula fakalangi, pe ʻulungaanga ʻo e Fakamoʻuí. Ko e ngaahi ʻulungaanga ʻeni ke tau fakafōtunga kapau ʻoku tau fie tatau ange mo Ia.

Naʻe hoko atu ʻa Pita ʻo ne pehē kuo pau ke tau tānaki ki heʻetau tuí ʻa e [angamaʻá]. … He ʻikai holi kovi hono lotó, he kapau te ne fai ia te ne “fakaʻikaiʻi ʻa e tuí” pea mole ʻa e Laumālié (T&F 42:23)— pea ʻoku ʻikai ha meʻa ia ʻe toe mahuʻinga ange ʻi he ngāué ni ʻo laka ʻi he Laumālié. …

ʻOku fāitatau ʻa e anga maʻá mo e anga māʻoniʻoní, ko ha fōtunga ʻo e anga faka-ʻotuá. ʻOku totonu ke [tau] feinga mālohi ki he meʻa ʻoku maʻa mo fakaʻofoʻofá kae ʻikai ki he meʻa ʻoku holoki mo fulikivanú. ʻE lava fēfē ʻe ha tangata ke fakahōhōlotoʻi ia ʻi he ngaahi kovi ʻo e ponokalafí, lea taʻe-feʻungá, pe kapepaké pea kei lau ia ʻoku angamaʻa kakato? …

ʻKo e sitepu hoko ʻoku fakamatalaʻi ʻe Pita ʻi he founga ʻo e fakalakalaká ke tānaki atu ʻa e ʻiló ki heʻetau tuí mo e angamaʻá. Kuo ʻosi fakahā mai ʻe he ʻEikí “ʻoku ʻikai lava ke fakamoʻui ha tangata ʻi he taʻe-ʻiló” (T&F 131:6). Naʻe fekau ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻi ha meʻa ʻe taha, “Mou fekumi mei he ngaahi tohi lelei tahá ʻa e ngaahi lea ʻo e potó; mou fekumi ki he ʻiló, ʻio, ʻi he ako pea ʻi he tui foki” (T&F 88:118). … Neongo ʻoku mahuʻinga ha faʻahinga ako pē ʻo e moʻoní, ka ko e ngaahi moʻoni ʻo e fakamoʻuí ko e ngaahi moʻoni mahuʻinga taha ia ʻe lava ke ako ʻe ha taha. Ko e fehuʻi ʻa e ʻEikí, “He ko e hā hono ʻaonga ki he tangatá, ʻo kapau te ne maʻu ʻa e māmaní kotoa pē, kae mole ai hono laumālie ʻoʻoná?” ʻE lava ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e (Mātiu 16:26) ki he ngaahi fekumi fakaakó pea pehē ki he kumia ʻo e ngaahi koloa fakamāmaní. Naʻe mei toe fehuʻi pē ʻe he ʻEikí, “He ko e hā hono ʻaonga ki he tangatá, kapau te ne ʻilo ʻa e meʻa kotoa ʻi he māmaní kae ʻikai ʻilo e founga ke fakahaofi aí?”…

ʻE tokoni hono fakatahaʻi ʻetau ako fakalaumālié mo e ako fakamāmaní ke tau tokanga pē ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku mahuʻinga taha ʻi he moʻui ko ʻení. …

Ko ha anga ʻe taha naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe Pita ko ha konga ʻo e anga faka-ʻotuá ko e angafakamaʻumaʻú. [Ko ha taha angafakamaʻumaʻu] ʻoku mapuleʻi hono lotó mo ʻene ngaahi leá. ʻOkú ne fai fakafeʻunga ʻa e ngaahi meʻá pea ʻoku ʻikai fai ʻo tōtuʻa. Ko hono ʻai ʻe tahá, ʻokú ne mapuleʻi ia. Ko e pule ia ki hono lotó, kae ʻikai puleʻi ia ʻe hono lotó. …

Kuo pau ke tau tānaki ki heʻetau faʻa fakamaʻumaʻú ʻa e faʻa kātakí. … Ko e faʻa kātakí ko ha tuʻunga ia ʻe taha ʻo e mapuleʻi kitá. Ko e malava ia ke toloi ʻa e fakahōhōlotó mo mapuleʻi e ngaahi holi fakakakano ʻa ha taha. ʻOku ʻikai fakahoko ʻe ha tangata ʻi heʻene feohi mo e niʻihi ʻoku ʻofa aí ha tōʻonga fakavalevale ʻe iku fakameʻapangoʻia ai ʻamui. Ko e faʻa kātakí ko e mapuleʻi ʻi he lolotonga ʻo e loto hohaʻá Ko ha tangata faʻa kātaki ʻoku loto mahino ʻi he ngaahi fehalaaki ʻa e niʻihi kehé.

Ko ha tangata faʻa kātaki ʻoku tatali ki he ʻEikí. ʻOku tau faʻa lau pe fanongo he taimi ʻe niʻihi ki ha kakai ʻoku fekumi ki ha tāpuaki mei he ʻEikí, pea fakaʻau ʻo taʻe-faʻa-kātaki ʻi he taimi ʻoku ʻikai hoko vave mai aí. Ko e konga ʻo e natula fakalangí ke feʻunga hoʻo falala ki he ʻEikí ke “fakalongolongo pea ʻilo [ko ia] ʻa e ʻOtuá” (T&F 101:16).

Ko ha [taha] ʻoku faʻa-kātaki te ne kātakiʻi e ngaahi fehalaaki mo e ngaahi tōnounou ʻa e kakai ʻoku ʻofa aí. He ʻikai ke ne kumi ha fehālaaki pe tukuʻakiʻi koeʻuhí he ʻoku ʻofa ʻiate kinautolu.

Ko e ʻulungaanga ʻe taha naʻe lau ki ai ʻa Pita ko e angaʻofá. … Ko e taha ʻoku angaʻofá ʻokú ne ongoʻi mo angalelei ki he niʻihi kehé. ʻOkú ne fakaʻatuʻi e ngaahi ongo ʻa e niʻihi kehé mo anga fakaʻapaʻapa. ʻOku natula tokoni. ʻOku fakamolemoleʻi ʻe he angaʻofá e ngaahi vaivai mo e foʻui ʻo e niʻihi kehé. Ko e angaʻofá ʻoku fai ia ki he taha kotoa—ki he motuʻá mo e talavoú, ki he fanga monumanú, ki he māʻulaló mo e māʻolungá.

Ko e ngaahi anga totonu ʻeni ʻo e natula fakalangí. ʻOku mou lava ʻapē ʻo sio ki he founga ʻo ʻetau hoko ʻo anga faka-Kalaisi ange ʻi heʻetau angamaʻa ange, angaʻofa ange, faʻa kātaki ange mo mapuleʻi ange hotau ngaahi lotó?

Naʻe fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe he ʻAposetolo ko Paulá ha ngaahi fakamatala mahino ke fakatātaaʻi kuo pau ke kehe ha mēmipa ʻo e Siasí mei māmani. Naʻá ne fokotuʻu ke tau “ʻai ʻa Kalaisi” (Kalētia 3:27), “ke mou siʻaki … ʻa e tangata motuʻá,” pea “ʻai…ʻa e tangata foʻou” (ʻEfesō 4:22, 24).

Ko e anga fakaʻosi mo fungani ʻo e ʻulungaanga fakalangí ko e manavaʻofá, pe ko e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí (vakai, Molonai 7:47). Kapau te tau feinga moʻoni ke tatau ange mo hotau Fakamoʻuí mo e ʻEikí, ʻoku totonu leva ko ʻetau taumuʻa māʻolunga tahá ke ako ke ʻofa ʻo hangē ko ʻEne ʻofá. Naʻe ui ʻe Molomona ʻa e manavaʻofá ko e “[meʻa] mahuʻinga taha ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē” (Molonai 7:46).

Ka ʻoku kehe lahi ʻa e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí mei he meʻa ʻoku lau ʻe māmani ko e ʻofá. ʻOku ʻikai teitei kumi ʻe he manavaʻofá ha fiefia ʻoku siokita. ʻOku kumi ʻataʻatā pē ʻa e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí ki he fakalakalaka taʻengatá mo e fiefia ʻa e niʻihi kehé. …

Naʻe fakahā ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ko e moʻui taʻengatá ke ʻiloʻi ʻa e ʻOtua moʻoni pē tahá mo Hono ʻAlo ko Sīsū Kalaisí (vakai, Sione 17:3). Kapau ʻoku moʻoni ʻeni, ʻoku ou fakamoʻoniʻi fakamātoato atu ʻoku moʻoni, pea tā kuo pau ke tau fehuʻi pe te tau ʻiloʻi fēfē ʻa e ʻOtuá. Ko e founga hono tānaki e anga fakaʻotua ki he anga fakaʻotua ʻe tahá, ʻo hangē ko hono fakamatalaʻi ʻe Pitá, ʻoku hoko ia ko e kī ki he maʻu ʻo e ʻilo ʻoku fakatau ki he moʻui taʻengatá. Fakatokangaʻi ange e talaʻofa ʻa Pitá, ʻa ia ʻoku muimui mai pē he founga naʻe fakamatalaʻí:

“He kapau ʻoku nofoʻia ʻa kimoutolu ʻe he ngaahi meʻá ni, mo tupulekina, ʻe ʻikai ai te mou fakapikopiko pe taʻe-fua ʻi he ʻilo ki hotau ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí” (2 Pita 1:8; ko e toki tānaki atu e fakamamafá).

… ʻOku ou fakatauange ke tupulekina ʻa e ngaahi anga mo e ngaahi ʻulungaanga ko ʻeni ʻo e Fakamoʻuí ʻiate kitautolu koeʻuhí ke tau lava ʻo tuʻu ʻi he Fakamāú peá Ne fehuʻi mai kiate kitautolu takitaha, “Ko e hā ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kimoutolú?” ʻe lava ke tuʻu hangatonu hotau ʻulú ʻi he fakafetaʻi mo e fiefia pea tau tali, “Ke hangē pē ko e ʻAfioná.”11

ʻE fakafiemālieʻi kitautolu ʻe he Fakamoʻuí mo hiki hake kitautolu ʻi heʻetau ngaahi feinga ke nofo ʻi he hala kuó Ne ʻosi fakaʻilongaʻi maí.

Ko e lahi ange ʻetau hē mei he hala kuo ʻosi fakaʻilongaʻi mai ʻe he Tangata ʻo Kālelí, ko e lahi ange ia ʻo ʻetau tōnounou ʻi heʻetau ngaahi fepaki fakafoʻituituí. … Ka ʻoku ʻikai ke Ne taʻe-tokoniʻi kitautolu. …”

“Ko ia kotoa pē te mou kole ʻi hoku huafá, te u fai.”

“ʻE ʻikai te u tuku ke tuenoa ʻa kimoutolu. …”

“ʻOku ou tuku ʻa e melinó kiate kimoutolu, ko ʻeku melinó ʻoku ou foaki kiate kimoutolú. …” (Sione 14:1, 14, 18, 27.)12

Tau toe vakai ki he Tohi ʻa Molomoná … ke ako ha ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni fekauʻaki mo e haʻu kia Kalaisí, ʻo e lotoʻaki Iá, fakatefito ʻiate Iá, mo e fonu ʻiate Iá. Te tau fakaʻaongaʻi pē ha niʻihi siʻi ʻo e ngaahi fakamatala lahi ki he meʻá ni.

ʻUluakí, ʻoku fie maʻu ke ʻilo ʻoku fakaafeʻi ʻe Kalaisi ke tau omi kiate Ia. “Vakai, ʻokú ne ʻoatu ha fakaafe ki he kakai fulipē, he kuo mafao atu ʻa e toʻukupu ʻo e ʻaloʻofá kiate kinautolu, … ʻIo, ʻokú ne folofola: Haʻu kiate au pea te mou maʻu ʻa e fua ʻo e ʻakau ʻo e moʻuí” (ʻAlamā 5:33–34).

Haʻu, he ʻokú ne tuʻu mo e “ongo toʻukupu ʻoku mafao mai ke tali ʻa kimoutolu” (Molomona 6:17).

“Haʻu kiate ia, pea ʻoatu homou laumālié kotoa ko ha feilaulau kiate ia” (ʻAmenai 1:26).

ʻI he fakaʻosi ʻe Molonai ʻa e lekooti ʻo e kakai Sēletí, naʻá ne tohi, “ʻOku ou fie naʻinaʻi kiate kimoutolu ke mou fekumi ki he Sīsū ko ia ʻa ia kuo tohi ki ai ʻa e kau palōfitá mo e kau ʻaposetoló” (ʻEta 12:41).

ʻI he lea fakaʻosi ʻa Molonai naʻe fai ki he ngataʻanga ʻo e kakai Nīfaí, naʻá ne pehē, “ʻIo, haʻu kia Kalaisi, pea hoko ʻo haohaoa ʻiate ia, … pea kapau ʻe fakafisi ʻa kimoutolu mei he anga taʻe-māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē, pea ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá ʻaki homou iví, ʻatamaí, mo e mālohi kotoa pē, pea ʻe toki feʻunga ʻa ʻene ʻaloʻofa kiate kimoutolú” (Molonai 10:32).

Ko kinautolu ʻoku tukupā kia Kalaisí ʻoku nau “tuʻu ko e kau fakamoʻoni ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻi he taimi kotoa pē pea ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē, pea ʻi he feituʻu kotoa pē” te nau ʻi ai “ʻo aʻu ki he maté” (Mosaia 18:9). ʻOku nau “tauhi maʻu ʻa e huafa” ʻo Kalaisí “ʻo tohi maʻu ai pē” ʻi honau lotó (Mosaia 5:12). ʻOku nau toʻo kiate kinatolu “ʻa e huafa ʻo Kalaisí, pea fakapapau ke tauhi kiate ia ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻangá” (Molonai 6:3).

Ko e taimi ʻoku tau moʻui ai ʻi ha moʻui ʻoku fakatefito ʻia Kalaisí, “ʻoku [tau] lea ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku [tau] fiefia ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku [tau] malanga ʻaki ʻa Kalaisi” (2 Nīfai 25:26). ʻOku tau “tali ʻa e folofola fakafiemālie ʻa e ʻOtuá, pea keinanga ʻi heʻene ʻofá” (Sēkope 3:2).

ʻOku tau manatu ki he faleʻi ʻa ʻAlamaá: “Fai hoʻo ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē ki he ʻEikí, pea ʻilonga ha potu te ke ʻalu ki ai ke fai ia ʻi he ʻEikí; ʻio, tuku ke fai ki he ʻEikí ʻa e ʻofa ʻa ho lotó ʻo taʻengata. Fealeaʻaki mo e ʻEikí ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē te ke faí” (ʻAlamā 37:36–37).

Naʻe pehē ʻe Hilamani, “Manatu, manatu, ʻoku makatuʻunga ʻi he maka ʻo hotau Huhuʻi, ʻa ia ko Kalaisí, … kuo pau ke [mou] langa ai homou makatuʻungá; koeʻuhí ka tuku atu ʻe he tēvoló ʻa ʻene ngaahi matangi mālohí, … ʻe ʻikai maʻu ʻe ia ha mālohi kiate [kimoutolu] ke fusi hifo ʻa [kimoutolu] ki he vanu ʻo e mamahí” (Hilamani 5:12).

Naʻe pehē ʻe Nīfai, “kuo… fakafonu [au ʻe he ʻEikí] ʻaki ʻa ʻene ʻofá, ʻo aʻu ki heʻene makupusi kotoa hoku sinó” (2 Nīfai 4:21). Ko kinautolu ʻoku fonu ʻia Kalaisí “fakamoʻui ʻia Kalaisi” (2 Nīfai 25:25). ʻOku ʻikai ke nau “mamahi ʻi ha faʻahinga faingataʻaʻia, [ka ʻe mole atu ia] ʻi he fiefia ʻa Kalaisí (ʻAlamā 31:38). ʻOku “hapai ʻa kinautolu ʻi he ongo toʻukupu ʻo Sīsuú” (Molomona 5:11). Naʻe pehē ʻe Nīfai, “ʻOku ou vīkiviki ʻi hoku Sīsuú, he kuó ne huhuʻi ʻa hoku laumālié” (2 Nīfai 33:6). Naʻe pehē ʻe Līhai, “ʻOku takatakaiʻi au ʻo taʻengata ʻi he ongo toʻukupu ʻo ʻene ʻofá” (2 Nīfai 1:15). …

“ʻE hoku foha, tui faivelenga kia Kalaisi; pea ʻofa ke ʻoua naʻa hanga ʻe he ngaahi meʻa kuó u tohí ʻo fakamamahiʻi koe, ke fakamafasiaʻi koe ʻo aʻu ki he maté; kae ʻofa he hiki hake koe ʻe Kalaisi, pea ʻofa ke nofo maʻu ai pē ʻi hoʻo fakakaukaú ʻo taʻengata ʻa ʻene ngaahi mamahí mo e pekiá, pea mo e fakahā ʻo hono sinó ki heʻetau ngaahi tamaí, mo ʻene ʻaloʻofá mo e kātaki fuoloá, pea mo e ʻamanaki lelei ki hono nāunaú mo e moʻui taʻengatá, ʻi homou ʻatamaí.

“Pea ʻofa ke ʻiate koe ʻa e ʻaloʻofa ʻa e ʻOtua ko e Tamaí, ʻa ia ʻoku māʻolunga ʻa hono ʻafioʻangá ʻi he ngaahi langí, pea mo hotau ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻa ia ʻoku ʻafio ʻi he toʻukupu toʻomataʻu ʻo hono māfimafí, kae ʻoua ke moʻulaloa kiate ia ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē, pea nofo ʻiate koe ʻo taʻengata” (Molonai 9:25–26).

Ko ʻeku fakaʻānaua kiate kitautolú takitaha ke tau muimui mo kitautolu foki ʻi he faleʻi fakalaumālie ko iá: “Ke tui faivelenga kia Kalaisi.” Pea te Ne toki hiki hake kitautolu mo ʻiate kitautolu ʻa ʻEne ʻaloʻofá ʻo taʻengata.13
