Hingikelī (1910–2008): “‘He ʻikai ha Kilisimasi kapau naʻe ʻikai ha Toetuʻu. Naʻe mei hoko pē valevale ko Sīsū ʻo Pētelihemá ko ha toe pēpē angamaheni pē ka ne taʻeʻoua e Kalaisi huhuʻi ʻo Ketisemani mo Kālevalé, pea mo e foʻi moʻoni fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻo e Toetuʻú.”1

Ko e hā e ʻUhinga ʻOku Tau Fie Maʻu ai ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí?

Te u pehē pē, ne u fakatumutumu ʻi he ʻikai ke mahino ki he mēmipa ko ʻení ʻa e konga mahuʻinga taha ʻo ʻetau tokāteliné, ʻa e ʻelemēniti mahuʻinga taha ʻo e palani ʻo e fakamoʻuí.

Naʻá ku tali ange, “Sai, ko e ʻuluakí, ʻoku ʻi ai e kiʻi meʻa siʻi ko ʻení fekauʻaki mo e maté. Te u pehē pē ʻoku ʻikai te ke fie maʻu ke hoko hoʻo maté ko ho tuʻunga fakaʻosí ia, pea ka ʻikai ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi ʻe ʻikai ha toetuʻu ia.”

Ne u talanoa fekauʻaki mo ha ngaahi meʻa kehe, hangē ko e fie maʻu ko ia [ʻe he tokotaha kotoa pē] ʻo aʻu pē ki he kakai lelei tahá, ke maʻu ʻa e fakamolemolé mo e fakamaʻa ko ia ʻoku malava ʻo fakahoko tuʻunga ʻi he ʻaloʻofa ʻo e fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí.

ʻOku nau tui ki he ʻOtuá mo ha moʻui hili ʻa e maté ka ʻoku nau fakakaukau, koeʻuhí ʻoku ʻofa e ʻOtuá ʻiate kitautolu, ʻoku ʻikai fuʻu mahuʻinga ia pe ko e hā e meʻa ʻoku tau fai pe taʻe faí; ʻokú Ne tokangaʻi pē ha ngaahi meʻa.

Hangē ko Nēhoá, “naʻá ne fakamoʻoniʻi foki ki he kakaí ʻe fakamoʻui ʻa e faʻahinga kotoa ʻo e tangatá ʻi he ʻaho fakaʻosí, pea ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke nau manavahē pe tetetete, ka ke nau hanga hake honau ʻulú ʻo fiefia; he kuo ngaohi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e kakai fulipē, pea kuó ne huhuʻi foki ʻa e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá; pea, ʻi he ngataʻangá, ʻe maʻu ʻe he kakai fulipē ʻa e moʻui taʻengatá” (ʻAlamā 1:4).

ʻOkú ke fakatokangaʻi ʻa hono toe fakaongo mai ʻe he tokāteline ʻa Nēhoa ki he fakamoʻuí ha founga ne ʻomi ʻe Lusefā, ko ha “foha ‘o e pongipongí,” ko e tokotaha loto-mamahi taha ʻi he kakai kotoa pē (ʻĪsaia 14:12; vakai foki, Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 76:25–27). Pea hangē naʻe fakamatalaʻi tuʻo taha ʻe he ʻOtuá, ko Lusefā “ko ia ia naʻe ʻi ai talu mei he kamataʻangá, pea naʻá ne haʻu ki hoku ʻaó ʻo pehē—Vakai, ko au ʻeni, fekauʻi au, te u hoko ko ho ʻAlo, pea te u huhuʻi ʻa e faʻahinga kotoa pē ʻo e tangatá, koeʻuhí ke ʻoua naʻa mole ha foʻi laumālie ʻe toko taha, pea ko e moʻoni kuo pau ke u fai ia; ko ia ke ke foaki kiate au ʻa ho lāngilangí.

Naʻe ʻikai ko ha meʻa siʻisiʻi ʻeni ʻo hono poupouʻi ʻe Sīsū e palani ʻa e Tamaí kae fokotuʻu atu ʻe Lusefā ia ke fai ha kiʻi liliu. Ne mei fakaʻauha ʻe he fokotuʻu ʻa Lusefaá ʻa e palaní, ʻaki hono toʻo hotau faingamālie ke ngāue tauʻatāiná. Naʻe fakavaʻe e palani ʻa Lusefaá ʻi he fakamālohi, pea ʻai kotoa e ngaahi foha mo e ngaahi ʻofefine kehe ʻa e ʻOtuá—ʻa kitautolu kotoa—ko ʻene fanga kiʻi meʻavaʻinga ʻokú ne puleʻi. Hangē ko hono fakamāʻopoʻopo ʻe he Tamaí:

“Ko ia, ko e meʻa ʻi he angatuʻu ʻa Sētane kiate aú, ʻo ne feinga ke fakaʻauha ʻa e tauʻatāina ke fili ʻa e tangatá, ʻa ia ko au, ko e ʻEiki ko e ʻOtuá, kuó u foaki kiate iá, pea ko e tahá foki, ke u foaki foki kiate ia ʻa hoku mālohi ʻoʻokú; ko ia ʻi he mālohi ʻo hoku ʻAlo pē taha naʻe Fakatupú, naʻá ku pule ke kapusi hifo ia ki lalo;

“Pea naʻá ne hoko ko Sētane, ʻio, ko e tēvoló, ko e tamai ʻa e ngaahi loi kotoa pē, ke kākaaʻi mo fakakuihi ʻa e tangatá, pea ke tataki pōpula ʻa kinautolu ʻi heʻene faʻitelihá, ʻio ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē ʻe ʻikai tokanga ki hoku leʻó” (Mōsese 4:3–4; tānaki atu e fakamamafá).

ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻi hono fakahoko ko ia ʻi he founga ʻa e Tamaí, ʻokú ne foaki mai kiate kitautolu ha aʻusia mahuʻinga ʻi he moʻui fakamatelié. ʻI hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e ongo foʻi lea “moʻui fakamatelié,” ʻoku ou ʻuhinga ai ki hono fili hotau halá, “[ʻahiʻahiʻi] ʻa e meʻa mahí, koeʻuhí ke [tau] ʻiloʻi hono fakamahuʻingaʻi ʻa e leleí” (Mōsese 6:55); ʻi he ako, fakatomala, mo e tupulaki, ʻo hoko ko ha kakai ʻoku lava ʻo ngāue maʻatautolu pē kae ʻikai ke toki “[fakangāueʻi]” (2 Nīfai 2:13); pea iku ai ki hano ikunaʻi ʻo e koví pea fakahaaʻi hotau loto mo e ivi malava ke moʻui ʻaki ha fono fakasilesitiale.

Pea ʻoku fie maʻu ʻa e haʻisia ki he ngaahi fili kuo fakahokó—ka ʻikai, ta ʻoku ʻikai ko ha ngaahi fili moʻoni ia. ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻoku fie maʻu ki he filí ha fono pe ko e ngaahi ola mahinó. Kuo pau ke tau lava, ʻi ha ngāue pe fili pau, ke fakatupu ha ola pau—pea fakatupu ʻe he fili ki he tafaʻaki fehangahangaí ʻa e ola ʻoku fehangahangai. Kapau ʻoku ʻikai ha ngaahi nunuʻa pau ki he ngaahi ngāué, ta ʻoku ʻikai pule ha taha ki he ngaahi olá, pea ʻoku taʻeʻaonga leva ʻa e filí.

Fonó mo e Fakamaau Totonú

ʻI hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e fakamaau totonú ko ha ʻuhinga tatau ʻo e fonó, ʻoku fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻAlamā ʻo pehē, “Ko ʻeni ʻe ʻikai lava ʻo fakaʻauha ʻa e ngāue ʻo e fakamaau totonú [ʻa ia ko e ngāue ia ʻa e fonó]; ka ne pehē, he ʻikai toe ʻOtua ʻa e ʻOtuá” (ʻAlamā 42:13).

ʻOku fakahā mai ʻe he ʻEikí kiate kitautolu, “ko ia ia ʻoku puleʻi ʻe he fonó ʻoku maluʻi foki ia ʻe he fonó pea ʻoku fakahaohaoaʻi mo fakamāʻoniʻoniʻi ʻe ia ia” (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 88:34). Ka kuo pau ke tau tali ʻoku ʻikai ha taha ʻiate kitautolu ʻoku taʻetūkua mo faʻa “puleʻi ʻe he fonó.” Pea he ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo sio ki he fonó pe ko e fakamaau totonú ke fakahaofi mo fakahaohaoaʻi kitautolu ʻi he taimi ʻoku tau maumauʻi ai ʻa e fonó (vakai, 2 Nīfai 2:5). Ko ia ai, ne fakatupu ʻe he Tamai Hēvaní e ʻaloʻofá ʻi he fakamaau totonu mo e ʻofa foki. Naʻá ne fai ʻeni ʻi Heʻene foaki Hono ʻAlo Tofu Pē Tahá ko e feilaulau totongi ki heʻetau angahalá, ko ha Tokotaha te Ne lava, ʻi Heʻene Fakaleleí, ʻo fakahoko e fakamaau totonú maʻatautolu, pea fakatonutonu kitautolu ki he fonó koeʻuhí ke toe tokoniʻi mo tokangaʻi kitautolu kae ʻikai fakahalaʻiaʻi kitautolu. ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻAlamā:

“Ka ʻoku ʻikai ke tuku ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻa ʻEne hoko ko e ʻOtuá, pea ʻoku maʻu ʻe he ʻaloʻofá ʻa e faʻahinga ʻoku loto-fakatomalá, pea ʻoku hoko mai ʻa e ʻaloʻofá tuʻunga ʻi he fakaleleí” (ʻAlamā 42:15, 22–23).

Ko e moʻoni ko e loto-fakatomalá, ko kinautolu ia ʻoku fatongia ʻaki mo tali ʻa ʻEne ʻaloʻofá ʻaki ʻenau fakatomalá.

Ko e Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí

ʻE lava ke tau toe fakaakeake mei he ngaahi fili halá tuʻunga ʻi he Fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí.
