Get Ready for the Temple!

We asked kids how they are preparing to go to the temple and what to expect. Here’s what they had to say!

“I am studying the temple interview questions to be ready to go to the temple. I want a strong testimony.”

“I am excited to go to the temple someday to do baptisms. I learned a lot about the temple by studying the scriptures. I am excited because even when I am on the temple grounds, I can feel the Spirit so strongly. I am sure the Spirit is even stronger inside.”

Luke F., age 10, Idaho, USA

“You can prepare for the temple a little bit every day. I keep the commandments. I read the scriptures with my brother and mother every morning before school. I try to be an example for friends. I try to choose the right like it says in the hymn ‘Do What Is Right’ (Hymns, no. 237). We sing that in the morning to set the right mood!”

Mark Y., age 10, Poltava, Ukraine

“I pray every day and ask my parents about temple ordinances. I’m also getting ready for my interview with the bishop. I’m excited to go to the temple.”

Daniel D., age 11, Kyiv, Ukraine

Picture of Antonella Igor.

“I loved my first time going to the temple. Before it was my turn for baptism, I got to serve as a witness. I watched someone else be baptized and made sure they went all the way under the water. When it was my turn to be baptized, the water was warm. I felt peace and happiness. I love the temple and love to help in this great work.”

Antonella A., age 12, British Columbia, Canada
