Ka ko hoʻo ngaahi tōnounoú ʻa e meʻa mahalo ʻoku fie maʻu ʻe Sētane ke tuku taha ki ai hoʻo tokangá—ke ke ongoʻi ʻoku ʻikai tali hoʻo ngaahi foakí ʻe he ʻEikí koeʻuhi ko e ngaahi taimi ne ʻikai ke ke hoko ai ko e faifekau lelei tahá.”

Foki ki he Fakatomalá

Ka naʻá ne maʻu ha mālohi ʻi he poupou ʻa e ngaahi kaungāmeʻá mo e fāmilí ʻi heʻene ngāue ke fakatomalá.

Naʻá ne tānaki mai, “Ko hono fokotuʻu e ngaahi taumuʻá, fakataha mo ʻeku pīsopé, mo e ʻalu ki he temipalé lolotonga ʻeku moʻui tāú ʻa e ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga ki he malava ke toe haʻu ke ofi ange ki heʻeku Tamai Hēvaní. ʻOku ou manatuʻi e ngaahi taimi ne ʻikai lava ai ke u fakataha mo ʻeku pīsopé pe aʻusia ha niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi taumuʻá; ne ʻi ai maʻu pē e filí ʻo ʻahiʻahiʻi au.”

Naʻe malava ʻene fakaakeaké ʻi hono “manatuʻi maʻu pē ʻoku ʻi ai haʻaku Tamai Hēvani ʻokú Ne ʻofa ʻiate au pea finangalo ke u fiefia. ʻE lava ke tau haʻu maʻu ai pē ke ofi ange ki he ʻOtuá neongo pe ko e hā e vā mamaʻo ʻoku tau ongoʻí ʻi hono maʻu ʻo ha fakamoʻoni ki he Fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí pea mo e fakatomalá.”

Naʻá ne hoko atu, ʻo fakamatala ki he ngaahi māhina naʻá ne ngāue ai kimuʻa pea hoko e ngaahi meʻa ne iku ai ki hono fakafoki ia ki ʻapí, “ʻI heʻeku vakai atu ki heʻeku ngāue fakafaifekaú, ʻoku ou kei ongoʻi pē ko e taha ia ʻo e ngaahi aʻusia lelei taha kuó u maʻú. Naʻá ku ako ha meʻa lahi, pea neongo ne ʻikai hoko ia ʻo fakatatau mo e meʻa naʻá ku palaní, ka naʻá ku kei lava pē ʻo mamata ki he liliu ʻa e ngaahi moʻui ʻe niʻihi koeʻuhí ko e ongoongoleleí. Naʻá ku fakahoko ha ngaahi fehalaaki, ka kuo tupulaki ʻeku fakamoʻoní ʻo lahi ange ʻi heʻeku faifeinga ke fakatomala mo laka ki muʻá.”

ʻOkú ne fie maʻu ke ʻiloʻi ʻe he kau faifekau ne foki teʻeki ʻosi koeʻuhí ko ʻenau ngaahi filí ʻoku “ʻikai ʻosi ai e māmaní. Ko e foki ki ʻapí ʻa e ʻuluaki sitepu ki he fakatomalá. Te ke maʻu ha meʻa lahi hili pē hoʻo foua e hala ʻo e fakatomalá. ʻE toʻo atu e kavenga mafasia ko iá. ʻOku ʻikai ha toe ongo lelei ange ka ko hono ʻiloʻi ʻokú ke taau ʻi he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá.”

Ko Hono ʻOfaʻi Kinautolu ʻOku Foki Teʻeki ʻOsí

ʻOku fakamamafaʻi ʻe he ongo faifekau ko ʻeni kuó na foki vave ki ʻapí ʻa hono mahuʻinga ke ʻofa mo poupouʻi e kau faifekau foki teʻeki ʻosí ʻe honau ngaahi kaungāmeʻá mo e fāmilí.

“ʻOange hanau faingamālie,” ko e lau ia ʻa Māsoló. “Kae fakapapauʻi ʻokú ke ofi pē, he ʻe malava ke kiʻi fakaloto-mafasia. Hoko ko hanau kaungāmeʻa.” ʻI hoʻo fakafanongo ki he Laumālié, te ke lava ʻo ʻiloʻi ʻenau ngaahi fiemaʻú mo ʻiloʻi e taimi ke tokoni aí mo e taimi ke fakaʻapaʻapaʻi ai honau taimi fakafoʻituituí.

“ʻOfa pē ʻiate kinautolu,” ko e tānaki mai ia ʻa e faifekau naʻe ngāue ʻi Kololató. “Poupouʻi kinautolu ke nau manatuʻi maʻu pē ʻa e feilaulau fakalelei ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí.”

ʻOku maʻu ʻe he kau faifekau ne foki teʻeki ʻosí, ʻo hangē ko Kolianitoní, ʻa e ivi malava ke nau hiki hake mei he tuʻunga laveangofua ʻoku nau ʻi aí ke hoko ko e ngaahi meʻangāue mālohi lahi ʻa e ʻEikí.

Maʻu e ʻAmanaki Lelei ʻi he Palani ʻa e ʻOtuá

Ne ʻomi ʻe ʻEletā Sefilī R. Hōlani ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá, ha ngaahi lea fakafiemālie ki he kau faifekau kuo nau foki teʻeki ʻosí. Houngaʻia ʻi he faingamālie ke ke fakamoʻoniʻi, ke ke ʻalu atu ʻi he huafa ʻo e ʻEikí, pea mo tui e pine ʻo e kau faifekaú. … Kātaki, kātaki ʻoua te ke toe fakamanatu ʻeni; ʻoua te ke nofo ai; ʻoua naʻá ke fakakaukau ʻokú ke taʻefeʻunga pe taʻemalava.”1

Kiate kinautolu naʻa nau foki teʻeki ʻosi koeʻuhi ko e angahalá, manatuʻi e ngaahi lea ko ʻení meia Sisitā Siosi D. Sōnasi: “Kapau te tau faiangahala, ʻoku tau taʻetaau, ka ʻoku ʻikai ʻaupito ke tau taʻe-mahuʻinga!”2 ʻOkú ne fakapapauʻi mai ʻe tokoniʻi kitautolu ʻe he ʻOtuá ke tau fakatupulaki e loto-falalá ʻiate kitautolu lolotonga e ngaahi momeniti tuenoa tahá kapau te tau tafoki kiate Ia.
