Broad places. (1) A city built by Nimrod, probably the northeastern suburb of Nineveh (Gen. 10:11).

(2) A well dug by Isaac (Gen. 26:22).

(3) A town on the Euphrates (Gen. 36:37; 1 Chr. 1:48).
