Noah did according to all that God commanded, Gen. 6:22. Abraham obeyed the Lord, Gen. 22:15–18. All that the Lord hath said will we do, Ex. 24:7. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it, Deut. 6:1–3. Love the Lord and obey his voice, Deut. 30:20. To obey is better than sacrifice, 1 Sam. 15:22. Fear God, and keep his commandments, Eccl. 12:13–14. Not every one shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of the Father, Matt. 7:21 (3 Ne. 14:21). If any man will do his will, he shall know if the doctrine is of God, John 7:17. We ought to obey God rather than men, Acts 5:29. Children, obey your parents, Eph. 6:1 (Col. 3:20).
