Same household, different ways to listen.

Sisters share their conference suggestions.

Have you ever noticed that different things help different people focus? It’s true! The trick is to find what works best for you.

Take these two sisters for example. Melody (left) and Lily (right) both watch conference with their family, but different strategies help them get the most out of it.

Lily likes doing crafts while she listens. She puts her usual electronics in another room so that she’s not tempted to use them during the messages.

“It also helps me to remember that I don’t have to remember every single word that was said because I can always go back and listen again,” Lily said.

For Melody, it really helps to play quiet instrumental music in the background during the talks.

“Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost reach out to you when you’re doing things like listening to conference,” she testified. “You can get customized counsel even if that counsel has nothing to do with the talk.”

Thanks so much for sharing, Lily and Melody! Conference starts Saturday morning. Here’s more info about how to watch.

What’s something new you could try to get even more out of conference this weekend?
