Veel profeten hebben over Jezus Christus onderwezen. Ze zeiden dat Hij zou worden geboren om ons te laten zien hoe we moeten leven. Ze gebruikten veel verschillende namen om over Hem te vertellen.

Een andere naam voor Jezus is de Vredevorst. Als we bang of verdrietig zijn, kan Hij ons door de Heilige Geest helpen om ons rustig te voelen.

Jezus wordt ook wel de Messias genoemd. Messias betekent ‘de gezalfde’. Jezus is voor ons gestorven, zodat we weer bij God kunnen wonen.
