ザアカイという男の人が，イエスを見たいと思いました。ザアカイはせが低かったので，よく見えるように木に登りました。ほとんどの人はザアカイのことが好きではありませんでした。しかし，イエスは人々がどう思うかは気にせず，ザアカイに気づくと，ザアカイの家をおとずれるつもりだと言われました。（ルカ19：2－10参照）。

イエスに会いに来た子供たちもいました。弟子たちは，その子供たちを追いはらいたいと思いました。けれどもイエスは，「おさな子らをわたしの所に来るままにしておきなさい」と言われました（マルコ10：14）。イエスはその子供たちを祝福し，かれらとともに時間をすごされました。

仲間外れにされた人がいたら，一緒に何かしようとさそうことができます。

あるばん，一人の女性がおくり物としてイエスに油を持って来ました。ほかの人たちは，その女性が物を無駄にしていると言いましたが，イエスは，「するままにさせておきなさい」と言われました（マルコ14：6）。「彼女はわたしに良いことをしてくれたのだ」と言われたのです。

だれかに思いやりのないことを言う人がいたら，わたしは代わりに，思いやりのある言葉をかけることができます。
