Purohiti ki Chaabiyaan aur Adhikaar
Purohiti chaabiyaan mahilaaon tatha purshon ko nirdesh deti hai, aur purohiti dharamvidhiyaan aur purohiti adhikaar mahilaaon tatha purshon ke se taaluk rakhta hai.
I.
Is sammelan mein humne kuch vishwaasi bhaaiyon ke mukt karne ko dekha hai, aur humne kuch bhaaiyon ke samarthan karne ko dekha hai. Is adla badli mein —jo Girjaghar ke liye bahut aam hai—hamari “padhwi kam” nahi hoti jab hum mukt hote hai, aur hamari “padhwi badhti” nahin hai jab hum niyukt hote hai. Prabhu ke sewa mein koi “unch ya nich” nahin hai. Sirf “aage ya piche,” jaana hai aur yeh nirbhar hai ki kaise hum apne mukt hone aur niyukt hone ko apnaate aur uspar mehnat karte hai. Mai ek baar ek jawaan stake adhyaksh ke mukt hone par adhyaksh kar raha tha jisne nao saalon tak badi achchi tarah sewa pradaan kiya tha aur ab khush tha apne mukt hone par aur ek nayi niyukti paane par apne patni ke saath. Unhein apne ward mein nursery leaders ki niyukti mili thi. Sirf is Girjaghar mein yeh utna hi samaan dene waala niyukti lagega!
II.
Ek mahilaaon ke sammelan mein baate karte samay, Sahayak Sanstha maha pradhaan Linda K. Burton ne kaha, “Hum aasha karte hai hum sab mein ek badi ichcha daalneki purohiti ko achchi tarah samajhne ka.”1 Wohi avashyaak humko bhi hai, aur mai yeh karna chahunga purohiti ke chabiyon aur adhikaar par baate karke. Kyunki in baaton ki parwaah donon purush aur mahila ko barabar ki hai, mai prasann hoon ki yeh sanchalan Girjaghar ke sabhi sadasyon tak prasarit aur chaapa jaata hai. Purohiti shakti hum sab ko ashirvaad deti hai. Purohiti chaabiyaan mahilaaon tatha purshon ko nirdesh deti hai, aur purohiti dharamvidhiyaan aur purohiti adhikaar mahilaaon tatha purshon ke se taaluk rakhta hai.
III.
Pradhaan Joseph F. Smith ne purohiti ko is tarah samjhaya “Parmeshwar ki shakti jo purush ko di jaati hai jisse purush dharti par maanav parivaar ke mukti ke liye kaarye kar sakta hai.”2 Anye netaaon ne hamein sikhlaya ki purohiti “is dharti par sabse mukammal shakti hai. Isi shakti se dharti ki rachna hui thi.”3 Dharamshaastra hamein batlaate hai ki “yahi Purohiti, jo ki shuruaat mein tha, duniya ke anth mein bhi rahega” (Moses 6:7). Jo samajh hum dhondhte hai purohiti ke chaabiyon ki samajh se shuru hota hai. “Purohiti chabiyaan Parmeshwar ka adhikaar hai purohiti [rakhnewaalon] ko madad karne ke liye nirdeshan, niyantran, aur sanchalan mein is dharti mein Uske purohiti ko istemaal karne ke liye.”4 Girjaghar mein kiye gaye har ek kaarye ya dharamvidhi ko chaahe sidhe ya gupt adhikaar se kiya jaata hai jiske paas us kaarye ke liye chaabi hai. Jaise Elder M. Russell Ballard ne kaha hai, “Jinke paas purohiti ki chaabiyaan hai … vaastav mein un sab ke liye jo vishwaas ke saath sewa pradaan karte hai mumkin karta hai unki nigraani mein purohiti adhikaar ko kaam mein lane aur purohiti shakti ko paane ki5.”5
Purohiti adhikaar ke istemaal ko kaabu mein karne se, purohiti chaabiyon ka kaarye donon badhata aur rokta bhi hai. Woh badhta hai jab purohiti adhikaar aur ashirvaadein Parmeshwar ke sabhi bachchon ke liye uplabdh hoti hai. Woh rukta hai jab tay kiya jaata hai kisko purohiti ka adhikaar milega, kaun uske daftaron mein rahenge, aur kaise uske hak aur shakti di jaaegi. Uddharan ke taur par, ek vyakti jo purohiti rakhta hai apne daftar ya adhikaar ko kisi aur ko nahin de sakta jab tak use yeh swikriti chaabiyon ke rakhne waalon dwara di jaati hai. Yeh batlaata hai ki kyun ek purohiti rakhne waala —daftar par gaur na karte huwe—apne parivaar ke ek sadasye ko nahin niyukt kar sakta ya prabhubojh ko apne ghar mein pura nahin kar sakta bina chaabi rakhne waale ke swikriti ke.
Us pavitra kaam ko chodke jo bahanon ko mandir mandir pradhaan ke chaabiyon ke andar mein karne ko milta hai, jo main baad mein bataunga, sirf woh jiske paas purohiti ka daftar hai ek purohiti dharamvidhi ko pura kar sakta hai. Aur sabhi swikrit purohiti ke dharamvidhiyaan Girjaghar ke khaaton mein likhi hai.
Ant mein, purohiti ki sabhi chaabiyaan Prabhu Ishu Maseeh ke dwara rakhi jaati hai, jiska woh purohiti daftar hai. Wohi batlata hai ki maransheel logon ko kaun si chaabiyaan di jaaengi aur kaise un chaabiyon ka istemaal hoga. Hum yeh sochte aaye hai ki sabhi purohiti ki chaabiyaan Joseph Smith ko di gayi thi Kirtland Mandir mein, magar dharamshaastra yeh batlaata hai ki sabhi kuch jo diya gaya tha weh the “is yug ki chaabiyaan” (D&C 110:16). Pratham Adhyakshta aur Pratham Adhyakshta aur Barah ke Parishad, jo Girjaghar ka adhyaksh karte hai, ko shakti mili hai ki woh Girjaghar palisiyaan aur kaaryevidhiyaan—jaise Girjaghar imaraton ke sthaan aur prachaarak sewa karne waalon ke umra jaisi baate. Magar bhale hi yeh adhyaksh karne waale adhikaari sabhi chaaiyon ko rakhte aur istemaal karte hai jo is sadi mein manushye ke paas hai, woh khud se divye rup se swikriti di gayi aakaar sirf purush purohiti ke daftar mein niyukt honge ko badal nahin sakte ki.
IV.
Ab mai purohiti adhikaar ke baare mein bolunga. Mai un teen siddhaanton se shuruaat karunga jo abhi abhi batlaai gayi hai: (1) purohiti Parmeshwar ki shakti hai jo manushye ko di gayi hai maanav parivaar ke uddhaar ke liye, (2) purohiti adhikaar purohiti rakhnewaalon se sanchalit hota hai jinke paas purohiti ki chaabiyaan hoti hai, aur (3) jabki dharamshaastra yeh batlaate hai ki “sabhi anye adhikaari[aur] daftar girjaghar ke [Melchizedek] purohiti ke bhaag hai” (D&C 107:5), sabhi kuch jo in purohiti ki chaabiyon ke nirdeshan mein hota purohiti ke swikriti se hota hai.
Yeh kaise mahilaaon se taaluk rakhta hai? Sahayak Sanstha ke ek bhaashan mein, Pradhaan Joseph Fielding Smith, tabke Barah Devduton ke Parishad Pradhaan, ne yeh kaha: “jabki bahanon ko Purohiti nahin di gayi hai, unpar saupa nahin gaya hai, iska matlab yeh nahin ki Prabhu ne unhe swikriti nahin diya hai. … Ek vyakti ko swikriti di jaati hai, ya ek bahan ko, Girjaghar mein kuch cheezein karne ki jo ki hamare uddhaar ke liye thos aur bahut zaroori hai, jaise jo kaarye hamari bahanon Prabhu ke Ghar mein karti hai. Unhe swikriti di jaati hai kuch mahaan aur ashcharyejanak kaarye karne ki, jo Prabhu ke liye pavitra hai, aur thos hai jis tarah Purohiti rakhne waale ek purush dwara di gayi ashirvaadein.”7.
Is mahatvapurn bhaashan mein, Pradhaan Smith ne baar baar kaha ki mahilaaon ko swikriti di gayi hai. Mahilaaon se usne kaha, “Tum adhikaar se bol sakti ho, kyunki Prabhu ne tumhe woh swikriti di hai.” Usne yeh bhi kaha ki Sahayak Sanstha “[ko] shakti aur adhikaar diya gaya hai kai cheezein karne ka. Jo kaarye woh karte hai divye adhikaar se kiya jaata hai.” Aur, haan, Girjaghar kaarye jo mahila aur purush karte hai, chaahe mandir ya wards ya shaakaon mein, kiya jaata hai purohiti rakhnewaalon ke nirdeshan mein. Isliye, Sahayak Sanstha par bolte huwe, Pradhaan Smith ne samjhaya, “[Prabhu] ne unhe yeh mahaan sanstha di hai jahan unhe swikriti milti hai ward ke bishop ke nigraanioun mein kaam karne ka … , hamare logon ke dhaarmik aur sansaarik laabh ko dekhte huwe.”8
Isliye, yeh sach mein kaha jaata hai ki mahilaaon ke liye Sahayak Sanstha sirf ek kaksha nahin magar aysi cheez jiska woh ek bhaag hai—purohiti ka ek divye rup se aayojit kiya bhaag.9
Hamein aadat nahin hai kehne ki mahilaaon ko apne Girjaghar niyuktiyon mein purohiti ka adhikaar diya gaya hai, magar aur kaisa adhikaar ho sakta hai? Jab ek mahila—jawaan ya budhi—ko niyukt kiya jaata hai susamachaar ko prachaar karne ke liye ek pure-samay ke prachaarak ke rup mein, use purohiti adhikaar milta hai ek purohiti kaarye ko pura karne ke liye. Yahi sach hai jab ek mahila ko niyukt kiya jaata hai ek afsar ya adhyapak banne ke liye ek Girjaghar sanstha mein purohiti ke chaabiyon ko rakhnewaalon ke nirdeshan mein.
Jo bhi purohiti adhikaar ko pura karta hai ko apne hak ko bhul kar apne zimmedaariyon par gaur karna chahiye. Yeh ek siddhaant hai jo samaaj ko bahut zaroori hai. Woh logpriye Russian lekhak Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn ko yeh kehte suna gaya hai, “Samay aa gaya hai …{nb maanav hak ko nahin par maanav kartavvye ko bachane ka.”10 Antim-din Santon ko yeh pata hai ki unnati paane ke liye hak maangna nahin magar zimmedaari pura karna hai.
V.
Prabhu ne nirdesh kiya hai ki sirf purush ko purohiti ke daftar mein niyukti milegi. Magar, jaisa kayi Girjaghar ke netaaon ne zor diya hai, purush “purohiti” nahin hai.”11 Purush purohiti rakhte hai, ek pavitra kartavye ke saath ki Parmeshwar ke bachchon ko ashirvaad dene ke liye usse istemaal karenge.
Sabse mahaan shakti jo Parmeshwar ne Apne putron ko diya hai ko pura nahin kiya ja sakta bina Uske kisi ek putriyon ke saath ke, kyunki sirf Unke putriyon ko Parmeshwar ne shakti di hai “shareer ki rachna ki … taaki Parmeshwar ki banawat aur Mahaan Yojna ki purti ho sake.”12 Yeh shabd Pradhaan J. . Reuben Clark ke hai.
Usne aur kaha: “Yeh hai hamare patniyon aur hamare maataaon ki bhumika Anant Yojna mein. Woh Purohiti rakhte nahin; unhein Purohiti ke kartavvye aur kaarye ko pura nahin karna hota; na to unhe kayi zimmedaariyaan milti hai; woh uski shakti ke nigraani mein banane waale aur ayojit karne waale hai, aur uske ashirvaad paane waale, jismein Purohiti shakti ka sahara hai aur divye niyukti ka kaarye rakhte hai, aur anant avashyakta unki khud Purohiti ki tarah par apni jagah par hai.”13
In prerit shabdon mein, Pradhaan Clark parivaar se baatein kar raha tha. Jaise parivaar ek aupchaarik ghoshna mein likha hai, pita parivaar ka adhyaksh karein, aur woh aur maata ke alag alag zimmedaariyaan hai magar unhe “ek dusre ki madad barabar ke saath ban kar karni chahiye.”14 Parivaar ek aupchaarik goshna se kuch saal pehle, Pradhaan Spencer W. Kimball ne yeh prerit salah di: “Jab hum vivaah ki baat karte hai ek bhagidaari hone ka, aao hum baate karein vivaah ki ek sampurn bhagidaari hone ka. Hum nahin chahate ki hamare LDS mahilaaen shaant bhagidaar rahein ya kuch had tak bhagidaar rahein us anant niyukti mein! Kripya ek haath batane waale aur sampurn bhagidaar rahein.”15
Parmeshwar ke nazar mein, chahe Girjaghar mein ya parivaar mein, mahilaaein aur purush barabar hai alag alag zimmedaariyaan ke saath.
Mai samaapt karta hoon purohiti ke ashirvaadon ke kuch sachchaai batla kar. Purohiti chabiyon aur purohiti dharamvidhiyon ke vipreet, purohiti ke ashirvaadein mahilaaon aur purushon ke liye inhi sharton par uplabdh hai. Pavitra Aatma ka uphaar aur mandir ke ashirvaadein is sachchai ke jaane maane uddharan hai.
Apne gahari pahunch waala bhaashan mein BYU Education Saptah ke daoraan, Elder M. Russell Ballard ne yeh sikhlaya:
“Hamare Girjaghar ka dharamvidhi mahilaaon ko purush ke samaan tehraata hai aur alag bhi. Parmeshwar kisi ek ling ko dusre se behtar ya zyaada zaroori nahin maanta. …
“Jab purush aur mahila mandir jaate hai, donon ek hi shakti ko paate hai, jo hai purohiti ki shakti. … Purohiti ke shakti aur ashirvaadein Parmeshwar ke sabhi bachchon ke liye uplabdh hai.”16
Mai gawahi deta hoon ki Parmeshwar ke purohiti ke shakti aur ashirvaadein, Unke putron aur putriyon ke liye ek samaan uplabdh hai. Mai purohiti ke adhikaar ki gawahi deta hoon, jo chust hai Ishu Maseeh ke Girjaghar Antim-dinon ke Santon ka ke sabhi daftaron aur gatividhiyon mein. Mai gawahi deta hoon divye rup se nirdeshit kiye gaye purohiti ke chaabiyon ki, jo hamare bhavishyevakta/adhyaksh, Thomas S. Monson dwara rakha aur istemaal kiya gaya hai.
