Par-Mausi Rose ke Saath Chutiyaan

Chelapan ke apne ujwal maarg par chalte huwe, mai prarthna karta hoon ki vishwaas se tumhara maarg ka har ek kadam mazboot hoga.

Mere priye bahanon aur doston, mujhe aap ke samaksh hone se khushi milti hai, aur mai abhaari hoon hamare priye bhavishyevakta, Pradhaan Thomas S. Monson ki upasthiti mein hone ke liye. Hum udaas hue hamari teenon priye doston aur Prabhu ke sachche Devduton ke achanak mrityu se. Hum Pradhaan Packer, Elder Perry, aur Elder Scott ki kami mehsoos karte hai; hum unse prem karte hai. Hum unke parivaar aur doston ke liye prarthna karein.

Mai hamesha sammelan ke is sabha ka intazaar karta hoon—woh sundar sangeet aur hamare prerit bahanon ke salaah Aatma ko amantrit karti hai. Aap ke saath rehne se mai aur behtar manushye ho jaata hoon.

Jab mai aaj ke bhaashan ke baare mein nirnay kar raha tha, mera dhyaan Uddhaarkarta ke sikhlane ke tarike par gaya. Kitna dilchasp hai ki woh kaise saral kahaniyon se gehre siddhaanton ko batlata tha. Unke kahaniyon se Unke chelon ko mann se hi sachchaai nahin haasil hoti thi magar unke hridayon se bhi aur woh apne daenik jiwan ko anant adarshon se jod lete the.1 Hamare priye Pradhaan Monson bhi bahut guni hai niji anubhavon se sikhlaane mein jo dil ko pasand aaye.2

Aaj mere paas bhi ek kahani hai baatne ke liye. Ise sunte samay aapke saath Aatma rahe. Mai aapse aagra karunga ki aap Aatma ki sune. Pavitra Aatma aapko is kahani mein aapke liye jo sandesh hai use paane mein sahayta karega.

Par-Mausi Rose

Yeh kahani Eva namak ladki ki hai. Do zaroori baatein aapko uske baare mein jaanni chahiye. Ek hai ki is kahani mein woh 11 varsh ki thi. Aur dusra ki woh bilkul, kabhi nahin apne par-mausi Rose ke saath jaakar rehna chahati thi. Ekdam se nahin. Na mumkin.

Magar Eva ki maa ka opraishan hona tha jisse theek hone mein lamba samay lagega. Isliye Eva ke maata/pita use Par-Mausi Rose ke paas chutiyon ke liye bhej rahe the.

Eva ke mann mein, kayi kaaran the ki kyun yeh nirnay galat tha. Ek baat yeh tha, ki use apni maa se dur rehna padega. Iska matlab parivaar aur doston se bhi dur rehna hoga. Aur iske alawa, woh to Par-Mausi Rose ko jaanti tak nahin thi. Woh jahan thi, wahan bahut santusht thi, aur kuch nahin chahiye tha.

Par kisi bhi tarah ka zidh ya ankh-ulatna is nirnay ko badal nahin sakta tha. Isliye Eva ne kapde bhare aur apne pita ke saath lamba safar kiya Par-Mausi Rose ke ghar tak.

Jabse Eva ghar mein gayi, use sabhi cheez se nafrat thi.

Sab kuch puraana tha! Har jagah puraane kitaab rakhe the, ajeeb-rang birange botalein thi, aur dabbon mein guriya, bow, aur buttons bhare the.

Par-Mausi Rose wahan akeli rehti thi; usne kabhi shaadi nahin ki thi. Ghar ka dusra sadasye tha ek bhuri billi jiska pasandida baethne ka sthaan tha kisi bhi kamre ka sabse uncha sthaan, jahan se bhuki sher ki tarah niche dekhti rehti.

Ghar bhi bahut shaant tha. Woh dur gaaon mein tha, jahan gharein dur dur hote hai. Aadha meel(1km) ke duri mein koi bhi Eva ke umra ka nahi dikhta tha. Isse Eva ko aur akelapan mehsoos hua.

Shuruaat mein woh Par-Mausi Rose par bahut gaur nahin karti thi. Woh hamesha apni maa ko yaad karti. Kabhi kabhi, woh raat ko jaagti rehti, prarthna mein apni maa ki salamati chahati. Aur bhale us waqt nahin hua, Eva ko lagne laga ki Parmeshwar uski maa ke saath hai.

Ab kahi khabar mili ki opraeshan kaamiyaab tha, aur ab Eva ko sirf chutiyaan khatam hone tak tikna padega. Magar are, woh tikne se kitna nafrat karti thi!

Ab jabki uski maa ko lekar uska mann shaant hua, Eva Par-Mausi Rose par zyaada gaor karne lagi. Woh ek bhaari mahila thi—uske baare mein sab kuch bhaari tha: uska aawaaz, uska muskaan, uska vyaktitva. Uske liye idhar-udhar jaana aasaan nahin tha, par woh hamesha kaam karte hue gaati aur hasti rehti, aur uski khilkaari ghar mein gunj jaati. Har raat woh apne gaddo waale sofa par baethti, apne dharamshaastra nikaalti, aur zor se padhti. Aur padhte samay, woh kabhi kehti “Oh, use aysa nahin karna chahiye tha!” ya “Kaash mai wahan hoti!” ya “Kya isse sundar koi aur baat kisi ne suni hai!” Aur har shaam jab donon Eva ke khaat ke paas ghutnon par prarthna karte, Par-Mausi Rose kitne sundar prarthnaaen kehti, Swarg ke Pita ko neele chidyon aur spruce ke pedon, surya ast aur sitaaron, aur “jiwit hone ke ashcharye” ke liye dhanyevaad deti. Eva ko aysa lagta tha ki Rose Parmeshwar ko ek dost ki tarah jaanti thi.

Jaise din beette gaye, Eva ne ek ashcharyejanak baat jaani: Par-Mausi Rose shaayad sabse zyaada khush insaan thi uski nazar mein!

Par aysa kaise ho sakta tha?

Kaun si baat se woh khush rehti thi?

Usne kabhi shaadi nahin ki thi, uske bachche nahin the, uske saath us ajeeb billi ke siwaae koi saathi nahin tha, aur use saral kaam jaise jute baandhna aur sidiyaan chalne mein takleef hoti thi.

Jab woh shahar jaati, woh bade lajjajanak, rang-birange topi pahanti. Magar log uspar nahin haste. Balki, woh uske paas aate, unse baat karne ke liye. Rose ek adhyaapika reh chuki thi, yeh aam baat thi uske purva chaatron ka—jo ab bade ho gate the unke bhi bachche the—ki woh ruk kar baatein karte. Woh use unke jiwan mein achcha prabhaao hone ke liye dhanyevaad detein. Woh aksar hasa karte. Kabhi kabhi rotein bhi.

Jaise jaise chuttiyaan beetti gayi, Eva Rose ke saath zyaada samay bitaati. Woh tahalne jaate, aur Eva sparrows aur finches ke beech ka antar jaan paayi. Woh jangli elderberries todti aur narangi se marmalade(jam) banati. Woh apne par-par-nani ke baare mein jaan paayi jo apna desh chod, samudron ke paar aayi thi, aur samtal bhumi ko paar kiya tha Santon ke saath.

Jald hi Eva ne ek aur baat jaana: Par-Mausi Rose sirf sabse khushaal insaan nahin thi, par Eva bhi khush hoti thi unke kareeb hone se.

Ab chuttiyon ke din aur tezi se guzarne lage the. Eva ke jaanne se pehle, Par-Mausi Rose ne kaha ki kuch hi samay mein Eva ghar laut jaaegi. Bhale hi wahan pahunchte hi woh lautne ke sapne dekhne lagi thi, ab woh is soch se ghabraane lagi thi. Use lagne laga tha ki ab woh is ajeeb purane ghar ko uske ajeeb billi aur apne priye par-mausi Rose ko bahut yaad karegi.

Uske pita ko use aakar lene se ek din pehle, Eva ne woh sawaal pucha jiske baare mein woh hafton se chintit thi: “Mausi Rose, aap kyun itni khush hai?”

Mausi Rose ne use achchi tarah dekha aur phir use aage ke kamre ke ek painting tak le gayi. Yeh ek gunwaan dost ke taraf se tohfa tha.

Usne pucha, “Tum ismein kya dekhti ho?”

Pioneer ladki uchalti hui

Eva ne painting ko pehle dekha tha, par gaor se kabhi nahi. Ek ladki purane zamane ke kapde pehne gehre neele rang ke futpaath par uchal rahi thi. Ghaas aur ped ka rang joshila hara tha. Eva ne kaha, “Yeh ek ladki ki painting hai. Aysa lagta hai ki woh uchal kar khel rahi hai.”

“Haan, yeh khushi se uchalti hui ek pioneer ladki hai,” Mausi Rose ne kaha. “Mujhe lagta hai pioneers ne bahut andhere aur sunsaan din dekhein the. Unka jiwan kathin hua hoga—hum uski kalpana bhi nahin kar sakte. Magar is painting mein, sab kuch joshila aur aashapurn hai. Yeh ladki ke chalaai mein ek uchal hai, aur woh aage aur upar badh rahi hai.”

Eva shaant thi, tab Par-Mausi Rose ne kaha: “Jiwan mein sab kuch sahi nahin hota, isliye koi bhi apne aap ko niraasha ke kichad mein aur susti ke jhamela mein paa sakta hai. Magar mainne kuch logon ko jaana hai jo, jab kuch sahi nahin hota tha, woh jiwan ke ashcharye aur chamatkaaro par gaor karte the. Yeh log mere nazar mein sabse khush log hai.”

“Par tum ek switch daba kar niraash se khushaal nahin ho sakte,” Eva ne kaha.

“Nahin, shaayad nahin,” Mausi Rose ne halke se muskurayi, “magar Parmeshwar ne hamein niraash rehne ke liye nahin banaya. Woh hamein khush dekhna chahata tha!3 Isiliye agar hum Unpar bharosa karein, woh hamein jiwan ke achchi, joshile, aashapurn cheezon ko dikhlaega. Tab jaa ke, duniya ujwal hoga. Nahin, achanak nahin hoga, magar imaandaari se, kitni achchi cheezein achanak hoti hai? Mujhe aysa lagta hai ki sabse behtar cheezon, ghar par bane roti ya narangi marmalade ki tarah, ke liye dhaerye aur kaam chahiye.”

Eva ne kuch der socha aur kaha, “Shaayad jinke jiwan mein sab kuch theek nahin unke liye utna saral na ho.”

“Priye Eva, kya tum sach mein sochti ho ki mera jiwan sahi hai?” Mausi Rose Eva ke saath gaddon waale sofa par baethi. “Aysa ek samay tha jab mai itni niraash thi main aage nahin badhna chahati thi.”

Eva ne kaha, “Aapko?”

Mausi Rose ne sehmati di. “Mujhe jiwan se bahut kuch chahiye tha.” Jab usne bola, uske aawaaz mein ek udaasi thi jo Eva ne kabhi nahin suna tha. “Zyaadatar cheezein to huwe hi nahin. Ek ke baad ek mera dil tutta gaya. Ek din mujhe laga meri aasha kabhi nahin puri hogi. Woh mere liye ek niraashajanak din tha. Mai haar manne waali thi aur takleef seh lungi.”

“Tab aapne kya kiya?”

“Thode dinon kuch nahin. Sirf gusse me thi. Mere saath rehna bahut kathin tha.” Phir woh thoda hasi, magar woh uska aam bhari, kamra-bharne waali hasi nahin thi. “Mai apne aap mein baar-baar ‘It’s not fair’ geet gaati rehti thi. Magar ant mein maine kuch jaana jisse mera pura jiwan badal gaya.”

“Woh kya tha?”

“Vishwaas,” Mausi Rose muskuraai. “Maine vishwaas ko jaana. Aur vishwaas se aasha mila. Aur vishwaas aur aasha ne mujhe saahas diya ki ek din sab kuch sambhal jaaega, ki Uddhaarkarta ke kaaran, sab galtiyaan sudhar jaaengi. Uske baad, maine dekha mere saamne waala raasta utna sunsaan aur dhundhla nahin tha. Maine joshila nila rang, gehra hara rang, aur jalte laal rang dekh liya tha, aur maine tay kiya mere paas ek chunaao tha—mai khud par taras kha kar aur niraasha ke raaste mein dhire dhire aage badhti rahungi, ya thode vishwaas ke saath, bhadkile kapde pahan kar, naachne waale jute pahan kar, aur uchalte jiwan ko bita doon. Ab uska awaaz uchal raha tha painting waale ladki ki tarah.

Mausi Rose ne dur mez par pade dharamshaastra ko utha kar apne god mein rakha. “Mai nahin maanti thi ki koi daactar mujhe niraash keh paaega—mai nahin jaanti agar hum khud ko us mein se nikaal sakte hai. Magar haan mujhe achcha nahin lagta tha! Haan, mere kuch andhere din the, par mera niraasha aur chinta ise badal nahin sakta tha—isse sirf maamla bigad sakta tha. Uddharkarta mein vishwaas rakhne se maine sikha ki chahe jo pehle ghat gaya hai, meri kahani ka khushaal ant ho sakta hai.”

“Aap yeh kaise jaanti ho?” Eva ne pucha.

Mausi Rose ne Dharamshaastra ka ek panna khola aur kaha, “Yahan par likha hai:

“‘Parmeshwar … unke saath dera karega, aur woh uske log honge, aur Parmeshwar khud unke saath rahega, aur unka Parmeshwar hoga.

“‘Woh unki aankhon se sab aansu poch daalega; aur iske baad mrityu na rahegi, aur na shok, na vilaap, na peeda rahegi: pehli baate jaati rahegi.’”4

Par-Mausi Rose ne Eva ko dekha. Uska muskaan bhari tha jab usne dhire se kaha, awaaz mein dukh lekar, “Kya yeh sabse sundar cheez nahin jo tumne suna hai?”

Yeh to sach mein sundar tha, Eva ne socha.

Mausi Rose ne kuch panne ulte aur Eva ko ek verse dikhaya padhne ke liye: “Jo baate aankh ne nahin dekhi, kaano ne nahin suna, aur jo baate manushye ke chit mein nahin chadi, woh hi hai jo Parmeshwar ne apne prem rakhnewaalo ke liye tayyaar ki hai.”5

“Itna ujwal bhavishye ke saath,” Mausi Rose ne kaha, “kyun hum purva ya vartamaan ki chinta kare jo ki hamare tay kiye tarike se nahin hota?”

Eva santusht nahin thi. “Par ek minat tehro,” usne kaha. “Kya aap keh rahi ho ki khush rehne ka matlab hai bhavishye ki khushi ka intazaar karo? Kya sab khushiyaali anantta mein hai? Kya kuch aaj nahin ho sakta?”

“Oh, zaroor ho sakta hai!” Mausi Rose ne kaha. “Priye beti, vartamaan to anatta ka bhaag hai. Woh sirf hamare mrityu ke baad nahin shuru hota! Vishwaas aur aasha aapki aankhein aaj ke mile khushiyaali ko dikhaegi.

“Mai ek shaeri jaanti hoon jo kehta hai, ‘Forever -- is composed of Nows(Anantta Aaj se Banta hai).’6 Mai nahin chahati thi ki mera anantta andhere aur daraone ‘Aaj’ ka phal ho. Aur mai udaas jiwan nahin jeena chahati thi, daath peeste huwe, aankh band karke, aur kadwe ant tak ghiste huwe jaana. Vishwaas ne mujhe woh aasha diya jisse mai aaj anand mein reh sakun!”

“Tab aapne kya kiya?” Eva ne kaha.

“Maine Parmeshwar ke vaadon mein apna vishwaas ko aazmaaya arthpurn cheezein karne se. Mai paathshaala gayi. Vidhya haasil kiya. Jisse mujhe ek pasandida pesha mila.”

Eva ne iske baare mein thodi der socha aur kaha, “Magar vyast rehne se to aap khush nahin hui. Kayi vyast log hai jo khush nahin hai.”

“Tum itni choti hokar bhi kitni samajhdaar kaise ho?” Mausi Rose ne pucha. “Tum bilkul sahi ho. Aur zyaada vyast, dukhi log yeh bhool jaate ki ek cheez zaroori hai duniya mein—jo Ishu ne kaha tha Unke susamachaar ka sabse mukhye bhaag hai.”

“Aur woh kya hai?” Eva ne pucha.

“Yeh prem hai—Maseeh ka pavitra prem,” Rose ne kaha. “Tum dekhna, susamachaar ka har baat—sabhi shouldsmusts aur thou shalts jo zaroori hai—prem utpan karti hai. Jab hum Parmeshwar se prem karte hai, hum Unki sewa karna chahate hai. Hum Unki tarah banna chahate hai. Jab hum padosi se prem karte hai, hum apne musibaton ka parwaah na karke aur unhe unke musibaton ko suljhane mein sahayta dene lagte hai.”7

“Aur yahi hai jo hamein khush karta hai?” Eva ne pucha.

Par-Mausi Rose ne haami bhari aur muskurayi, uske aankh mein aansu the. “Haan, meri laadli. Yahi hamein khush karta hai.”

Kabhi Us Tarah Nahin

Agle din Eva apne par-mausi Rose se gale lagi aur use sabhi kuch ke liye dhanyevaad diya. Woh apne parivaar aur doston aur ghar aur aas pados mein laut gayi thi.

Magar woh kabhi us tarah nahin rahi.

Jaise jaise Eva badi hoti gayi, woh aksar apne par-mausi Rose ke baaton par gaor karti. Eva ne baad mein shaadi ki, bachche bade kiye, aur ek lambi aur vishaal jiwan jiya.

Aur ek din, jab woh apne ghar mein khadi thi, ek painting mein ek ladki ko purane zamane ke kapde pehne gehre neele rang ke futpaath par uchalte dekh rahi thi, usne socha ki ab woh usi umra ki hai jinti ki uski par-mausi Rose thi us behtareen chuttiyon mein.

Pioneer ladki uchalti hui

Jab usne yeh jaana, usne ek khaas prarthna ko apne hriday mein aate mehsoos kiya. Aur Eva apne jiwan, apne parivaar, Ishu Maseeh ke punahsthaapit susamachaar, aur un chuttiyon ke liye abhaari thi jab Par-Mausi Rose8 ne use vishwaas, aasha, aur prem ka paath diya tha.9

Ek Ashirvaad

Mere priye bahanon, mere priye doston jo Maseeh mein hai, mai aasha aur prarthna karta hoon ki is kahani ka koi bhaag aapko pasand aaya aur aapko prerna mili hai. Mai jaanta hoon ki Parmeshwar jiwit hai aur aapse prem karta hai.

Chelapan ke apne ujwal maarg par chalte huwe, mai prarthna karta hoon ki vishwaas se tumhara maarg ka har ek kadam mazboot hoga; ki aasha se tum Swarg ke Pita ke mahima ko dekh paaoge; aur ki Parmeshwar aur Unke sabhi bachchon se prem tumhare hriday ko bhar dein. Prabhu ke ek Devdut ke rup mein, mai yeh sab apni gawahi aur ashirvaad samajh kar Ishu Maseeh ke naam se, aapko deta hoon, amen.
