Ko e Samēlia Leleí

Ko e Fakamoʻuí ʻa ʻetau Samēlia Leleí11 kuo ʻomi “ke fakamoʻui e loto mafesí.”12 ʻOkú Ne haʻu kiate kitautolu neongo e fakalaka ʻa e niʻihi kehé. ʻOkú Ne ʻai ʻEne lolo fai-fakamoʻuí ki hotau matakafó pea nonoʻo ia. ʻOkú Ne fua kitautolu. ʻOkú Ne tauhi kitautolu. ʻOkú ne taʻalo mai, “Haʻu kiate au … pea teu fakamoʻui [ʻakimoutolu].”13

“Pea [ʻe] hāʻele atu [ʻa Sīsū] ʻo kātakiʻi ʻa e ngaahi mamahí mo e ngaahi faingataʻá pea mo e ngaahi ʻahiʻahi kehe kotoa pē;… ke [ne lava ʻo] toʻo kiate ia ʻa e ngaahi mamahi mo e ngaahi mahaki ʻoku moʻua ai hono kakaí. …[ʻo] toʻo kiate ia ʻa [hotau] ngaahi vaivaí [ʻi he] ʻaloʻofa.”14
