<para paraID="12">“Brethren, it is in <emphasis>doing</emphasis>—not just <emphasis>dreaming</emphasis>—that lives are blessed” (Thomas<nb/>S. Monson, in Conference Report, Oct. 2006, 64; or <emphasis>Ensign,</emphasis> Nov. 2006, 58).</para>
“Brethren, it is in doing—not just dreaming—that lives are blessed” (Thomas S. Monson, in Conference Report, Oct. 2006, 64; or Ensign, Nov. 2006, 58).
Emphasis inside emphasis turns the emphasis off again. Generally, do not use emphasis to make elements like titles or captions italic. This will be done with paragraph styles in InDesign and on the Web.
Use the emphasis character style. To embed <emphasis> in another character style, apply the italics character attribute directly.
