“ʻOku mau tui ʻe tauteaʻi ʻa e tangatá koeʻuhi ko ʻenau ngaahi angahala ʻanautolú pē, kae ʻikai ko e maumau-fono ʻa ʻĀtamá.

“ʻOku mau tui ʻe lava ʻo fakamoʻui ʻa e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá kotoa pē ʻi he Fakalelei ʻa Kalaisí, tuʻunga ʻi he talangofua ki he ngaahi fono mo e ngaahi ouau ʻo e Ongoongoleleí.” (Ngaahi Tefito ʻo e Tui 1:1–3).

ʻOku tomuʻa fakahā ʻe he ngaahi kikite ʻo e ngaahi ʻaho fakaʻosí ʻa e fakafepaki lahi ki he moʻoni mo e ngāue ʻoku ueʻi fakalaumālié. Ko e niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi kikite ko ʻení ʻoku fekauʻaki mo e fakafili ʻo Kalaisí, pea mo ha niʻihi kehe ʻoku lea kau ki he fuʻu siasi lahi mo fakalieliá.

Fili ʻo Kalaisí

ʻOku fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe he ʻAposetolo ko Sioné e foʻi lea ko e fili ʻo Kalaisí ke fakamatalaʻi ha taha ʻokú ne “fakafisinga ʻi he Tamaí mo e ʻAló” (1 Sione 2:22). ʻOku ui he ʻahó ni ʻa kinautolu ʻoku nau fakaʻikaiʻi ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e ʻOtuá ko e kau fakaʻotuamate. ʻOku manukiʻi ʻe he niʻihi ko ʻení ʻa e tui ʻa kinautolu ʻoku nau tui ki he meʻa ʻoku ʻikai lava ke fakamoʻoniʻi, ʻo tatau pē ia mo ʻenau fakaʻikaiʻi mālohi ʻa e ʻi ai ha ʻOtuá ʻa ia ʻoku ʻikai ke nau lava ʻo fakaʻikaiʻí.

ʻOku tau mateuteu ki he faʻahinga fakaʻikaiʻi ko ia ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻi he fakamatala ʻo e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ki ha tangata ko Koliholá. ʻI he fokotuʻu ʻoku fai ʻe he ngaahi tohi fakaʻotuamate lahi taha ʻi hotau kuongá, naʻe akonaki ʻa Koliholá, ʻa ia ʻoku ui tuʻo ua ko ha “Fili ʻo Kalaisi” (ʻAlamā 30:6, 12), ʻo pehē:

“ʻOku ʻikai te mou lava ʻo ʻiloʻi ha ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻikai te mou mamata ki ai; ko ia ʻoku ʻikai te mou lava ʻo ʻiloʻi ʻe ʻi ai ha Kalaisi.

“ʻOku mou vakai atu ki muʻa mo pehē ʻoku mou sio ki ha fakamolemoleʻi ʻo hoʻomou ngaahi angahalá. Kae vakai, ko e fua ia ʻo ha fakakaukau vale; pea ko e anga mamio ko ʻeni ʻo hoʻomou fakakaukaú ʻoku tupu ia mei he ngaahi talatukufakaholo ʻa hoʻomou ngaahi tamaí, ʻa ia ʻoku tohoakiʻi atu ʻa kimoutolu ki ha tui ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻikai ke moʻoni” (ʻAlamā 30:15–16).

Naʻe fakahā foki ʻe Kolihola “ʻoku ʻikai lava ke ʻi ai ha fakalelei ʻe fai koeʻuhi ko e ngaahi angahala ʻa e tangatá.” ʻOku tatau tofu pē ʻene fakamatala ki he nunuʻa ʻo ʻene fakafisingaʻi ʻa e foʻi fakakaukau ʻo e angahalá mo e Fakamoʻuí mo e tui ʻa ha tokolahi ʻi hotau kuongá ni: “ʻoku tuʻu ʻa e tangata ʻi he moʻuí ni ʻo fakatatau ki he anga ʻo ʻene ngāue ʻaʻaná; ko ia ʻoku tuʻumālie ʻa e tangata taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki hono ʻatamaí, pea … ikuna ʻe he tangata taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki hono iví; pea ʻilonga ha meʻa ʻoku fai ʻe ha tangata ʻoku ʻikai ko e hia ia” (ʻAlamā 30:17; tānaki atu hono fakamamafaʻí).

Fakakaukau Fakaeʻulungāngá

ʻOku tau ui he ʻahó ni ʻa e fakakaukau ʻa Koliholá ko e fakakaukau fakaeʻulungaanga. ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe ha ongo mamata ʻa e fakakaukau ko iá ʻo peheni: “ʻI heʻene aʻu ki he ngaahi meʻa fakaeʻulungāngá ʻoku ʻikai ha tali fakamāmani lahi ʻe tonu pe hala, ʻikai ha fakamaau taʻe totonu pe totonu, pea ʻikai ha founga ʻuhinga lelei pe taʻe ʻuhinga ke hoko ai e ngaahi faikehekehe fakaeʻulungaanga ʻe ʻaonga ʻi he taimi kotoa pē, ʻi he feituʻu kotoa pē, pea ki he tokotaha kotoa pē.”2

Ko e tui ʻeni ʻoku fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe ha tokolahi ʻi he mītia ʻoku manakoá, pea ko e tali ia ki he mālohi fakatoʻú. “Tukuange ʻa e ngaahi lao motuʻá. Fai e meʻa ʻoku ongo lelei kiate koé. ʻOku ʻikai ha moʻua ʻe ope atu ʻi he meʻa ʻoku fakamālohiʻi ʻe he lao ʻa e tangatá pe taʻe loto mei he kakaí kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻefihiá maʻú.” Ko e tupuʻanga ʻo e ngaahi fakakaukau peheé ʻa e fakamahamahalo ko ia ʻoku ʻikai ʻi ai ha ʻOtuá pe, kapau ʻoku ʻi ai, kuo teʻeki ke Ne tuku mai ha ngaahi fekau ʻe fekauʻaki mo kitautolu ʻi he ʻaho ní.

Fakakaukau Fakaetangatá

ʻOku hoko lahi taha ʻa e fakafisingaʻi ʻo ha ʻOtua ʻoku ʻikai lava ʻo fakamoʻoniʻí mo e fakaʻikaiʻi ʻo e tonú mo e halá ʻi he māmani ʻo e ako māʻolunga angé. ʻOku fakahaaʻi ʻa e fakakaukau fakaetangatá, ko ha konga ʻo e tui fekauʻaki mo e tangatá ʻa ia mahalo ne fakahingoa pehē koeʻuhí ko ʻene fenāpasi tonu mo e fakaemāmaní, ʻi he ʻiloʻilo pau pe ko e fehalaaki ʻi he ngaahi akonaki ʻa e kau faiako ʻi he ngaahi kolisi mo e ngaahi ʻunivēsiti lahi.

Ko e tafaʻaki taʻe fakafiemālie ki he kakai lotú, ʻi he ngaahi fakakaukau fakaetangata kehekehé ko ʻenau fakafisingaʻi ʻa e ʻi ai ha ʻOtuá mo ʻenau fakaʻikaiʻi ʻa e ngaahi moʻoni tefito fakaeʻulungaanga ʻoku fakatefito ʻi Heʻene ngaahi fekaú. Ko ia ai, naʻe fakafisingaʻi ʻe he Fakamafaiʻi Fakaetangata ʻi he 1973 ʻa e “ngaahi tuʻunga tukufakaholo fakaeʻulungāngá” mo e “tukufakaholo fakalotu mālohi pe ngaahi tui fakalotu pule ʻoku nau ʻai ke māʻolunga ange ʻa e fakahaá, ʻOtuá, founga lotú, pe ko e tuí ʻ ʻi he ngaahi fie maʻu mo e aʻusia ʻa e tangatá.” Naʻe toe pehē, “He ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo ʻilo ha taumuʻa fakalangi … maʻá e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá. … ʻOku fatongia ʻaki ʻe he tangatá ʻa e meʻa ʻoku tau ʻi aí pe ko ia te tau hoko ki aí. He ʻikai ha ʻotua te ne fakahaofi kitautolu; kuo pau ke tau fakahaofi pē kitautolu.”3

Ko e moʻoni, kuo fai ʻe he kau muimui ʻo e fakakaukau fakaetangatá, ʻa ia ʻoku ui ko e tangatá, ha ngaahi tokoni lelei lahi. Hangē ko ʻení, kuo nau poupouʻi e temokalatí, totonu ʻa e tangatá, akó, mo e fakalakalaka fakamatelié. Ko e tokolahi ʻoku nau fakaʻikaiʻi pe veiveiua kau ki he ʻi ai ʻa e ʻOtuá mahalo te nau fakaʻatā kinautolu mei he fakakaukau fakapoto fakaeʻulungāngá. ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe he ngaahi kikite ʻo e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻa e “fuʻu siasi lahi mo fakalielia ʻo e māmaní kātoá, ʻa ia ko hono tupuʻangá ko e tēvoló” (1 Nīfai 14:17). ʻOku kikiteʻi ʻa e “siasi” ko ʻení ke maʻu ʻa e “pule ki he māmaní kotoa pē pea ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga, mo e ngaahi faʻahinga, mo e ngaahi lea, mo e kakai fulipē” (1 Nīfai 14:11). Naʻe ui ko e “fuʻu fakalielia taha ʻi he ngaahi siasi kehe kotoa pē”, naʻe toe pehē foki ʻoku ngāue ʻa e siasi ko ʻení “ki hono fakavīkiviki ʻa e māmaní” ʻi hono ʻomi ʻo e “kau māʻoniʻoni ʻa e ʻOtuá … ʻo ʻohifo ai ʻa kinautolu ki he pōpulá” (1 Nīfai 13:5, 9).

Naʻe fakahā kia Nīfai ʻi he fakahā ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e “siasi ʻe ua pē”: “ko e siasi ʻo e Lami ʻa e ʻOtuá” mo e “siasi ʻo e tēvoló” (1 Nīfai 14:10; vakai foki, 13:4–6). ʻOku fokotuʻu mai ʻe he fakamatala ko ʻení ʻa e faikehekehe ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo kinautolu ʻoku tui ki he ʻOtuá mo feinga ke tauhi kiate Ia ʻo fakatatau ki he mahino lelei taha ʻoku nau maʻú mo kinautolu ʻoku nau fakaʻikaiʻi ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e ʻOtuá (vakai, 1 Nīfai 14:10).

ʻOku fakaʻaongaʻi foki ʻe he ngaahi akonaki kehe ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻa e foʻi lea ko e siasí ke fakahā ʻa e tuí pe ko e taʻetui ki he ʻOtuá. ʻOku kikite ʻa e ngaahi vahe fakaʻosi ʻo e 2 Nīfaí ʻe langa ʻe he kau Senitailé ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho fakaʻosí ʻa e “ngaahi siasi lahi” ʻe “manuki ki he mālohi mo e ngaahi mana ʻa e ʻOtuá, pea nau vikia pē ʻa honau poto ʻonautolú mo ʻenau ʻiló, koeʻuhi pē ke nau maʻu ha totongi” (2 Nīfai 26:20). ʻOku nau fakamatala ki ha “ngaahi siasi ʻa ia kuo fokotuʻu, kae ʻikai ki he ʻEikí” (2 Nīfai 28:3), ʻa ia te nau “akonaki ʻaki ʻa honau potó” mo “fakaʻikaiʻi ʻa e māfimafi ʻo e ʻOtuá” (2 Nīfai 28:4, 5). ʻI he ngāue ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo e kau Nīfaí, naʻá Ne fakatokanga ki ha siasi ʻoku ʻikai ke “langa ia ʻi heʻeku ongoongoleleí, [ka] ʻoku langa ia ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻa e tangatá, pe ko e ngaahi ngāue ʻa e tēvoló” (3 Nīfai 27:11; vakai foki, ki he akonaki ʻo kau ki he “fuʻu fale lahi mo ʻataʻataá” ʻi he 1 Nīfai 8:26–33; 11:35; mo e 12:18). ʻOku ʻikai fakangatangata pē ʻa e ngaahi fakatokanga ko ʻení ki he ngaahi kautaha fakalotú. ʻI he ngaahi tūkunga ʻo hotau kuongá, ʻoku fakakau atu ki ai mo ha fuʻu kakai tokolahi ʻo e ngaahi fakakaukau mo e ʻekitivitī fakamāmaní.

Neongo ʻoku “fakaʻapiʻapi ʻa [kitautolu] mei he potu kotoa pē,” ʻoku ʻikai “taʻe ha tokoni” kiate kitautolu (2 Kolinitō 4:8). ʻOku tau ʻiloʻi ʻoku fie maʻu ʻe heʻetau tupulaki fakalaumālié ʻa e “fehangahangai ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē” (2 Nīfai 2:11). ʻOku tau ʻiloʻi foki ʻoku “ʻafioʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻoku taau ke valokiʻi ʻa hono kakaí; ʻio, ʻokú ne siviʻi ʻenau kātakí mo ʻenau tuí” (Mōsaia 23:21).
