“Mai Ek Pardesi Tha”
Prarthnasheelta se jaanna chaaho kya karna hai—tumhare samay aur paristhitiyon ke anusaar— taaki tumhare pados aur samaaj mein rehne waale sharnaagatiyon aur naye logon ki sewa kar sako.
Jis din Sahayak Sanstha ka sthaapna hua, Emma Smith ne ghoshna kiya, “Hum kuch vishesh karne jaa rahe hai. … Hum vishesh haalaaton aur zaroori sahayta ke aadesh ki ummeed rakhte hai.” 1 Woh zaroori sahayta ke aadesh aur vishesh haalaatein us samay zyaadatar ghatti thi—jaise aaj ghatti hai.
Ek aadesh aaya October 1856 ke maha sammelan ke daoraan jab Pradhaan Brigham Young ne sabha se ghoshna ki thi ki haath-gaadi waale aguwa kayi sao kilometer dur fase huwe hai. Usne ghoshna ki: “Tumhara vishwaas, dharm, aur dharm ki baatein, hamare Parmeshwar ke raajye mein ek bhi aatma ko nahin bacha paaega, jab tak tum in siddhaanton ko na pura karoge jo mai aaj tumhe sikhla raha hoon. Jao aur un logon ko jo plains par hai ko yahan laao, aur un cheezon par khaas dhyaan do jise hum saansaarik kehte hai, … warna tumhara vishwaas vyarth jaaega.” 2

“Humne apni shakti anusaar sab kuch kiya, achche bhaaiyo aur bahano ki madad se, zarooratmand ko sahanubhuti dene ke liye. … Unke haath aur paaon buri tarah se barf se jam gaye the. … Humne apni koshishein band nahi ki [jab]tak sab ko aaraam na mila. …
“Mujhe kisi aur kaam mein itni santushti aur sukh nahin mila tha jiwan bhar mein, kyunki ekta ka ehsaas sab mein tha. …
“Aage kya hoga swikrit haathon ko karne ke liye?” 5

Hum bahanein, Swarg ke Pita ke bachchon ko madad karne ke liye Prabhu ke bhandaar ko aadha bharte hai. Unka bhandaar sirf saamaanon se nahin banta par samay, budhi, gun, aur hamare divye prakriti se bhi. Bahan Rosemary M. Wixom ne sikhlaaya hai, “Hamare andar ki divye prakriti hamare shaok ko jagata hai auron tak pahunchne aur kuch karne ke liye.”9
Hamare divye prakriti ko pehchaan kar, Pradhaan Russell M. Nelson ne zor diya:
“Hamein un mahilaaon ki zaroorat hai jo jaante hai ki zaroori kaarye kaise kiya jaata hai unke vishwaas ke zariye aur un dwara jo naetikta aur paapi duniya ke parivaaron ke rakhshak hai … : mahilaaen jo jaanti hai kaise swarg ke shaktiyon ko pukaara jaaye bachchon aur parivaaron ko surakshit rakhne aur mazboot karne ke liye. …
“… Vivaahit ya avivaahit, tum bahanon ke anokhe kaabliyat aur khaas antar gyaan hai jo tumne Parmeshwar se uphaar mein paaya hai. Hum bhaai log aapke anikhe prabhaao ki jagah nahin le sakte.”10
October 27, 2015 ko Pratham Adhyakshta ne Girjaghar ko ek patra bheja, jismein unhonne chinta vyakt aur daya vyakt kiya un kayi milyan logon ke liye jinhe apne gharon se bhaagna pada desh mein ladaai aur anye mushkilon ke kaaran. Pratham Adhyakshta ne logon, parivaaron, aur Girjaghar ke vibhaagon se niwedan kiya ki woh Maseehjaise dhang se sthaaniye sharnaathi sahayta kaarye mein sewa pradaan kare, aur Girjaghar ke humanitarian bhandaar mein daan dein, agar mumkin ho.
Sahayak Sanstha, Jawaan Mahilaaon, aur Praathmik ke maha adhyakshtaaon ne soch liya hai kaise Pratham Adhyakshta ke niwedan par amal kiya jaaye. Hum jaante hai ki aap, hamare sabse priye bahanein sabhi umra ke, sabhi tarah ke haalaat ke hai aur vibhinn paristhitiyon mein rehte ho. Hum mein se kisi ko bhi apni shakti se adhik tez daodne ki avashyakta nahin hai. Aysa tha ki is vishwabhar ke Santon ka bahanaapa ka har sadasye ne baptisma par vachan liya tha ki “unhe dilaasa denge jinhe dilaasa ki zaroorat hai.” 11 Phir bhi hamein yaad rakhna hai ki hamein apni shakti se zyaada tez nahin bhaagna hai.12
In sachchaaiyon ko dhyaan mein rakh kar, humne ek sahayta kaarye aayojit kiya hai jisko “Mai Ek Pardesi Tha.” Yeh hamare umeed hai ki prarthnasheelta se jaanna chaaho kya karna hai—tumhare samay aur paristhitiyon ke anusaar—taaki tumhare pados aur samaaj mein rehne waale sharnaagatiyon ki sewa kar sako. Yeh mauka hai khud, parivaaron mein, sewa karne ka aur sansthaaon mein dosti, salaah, aur anye Maseeh jaise sewa pradaan karne ka aur yahi ek tarika hai bahanein sewa kar sakti hai.
Hamare sabhi prarthnasheel koshishon mein, hamein Raaja Benjamin ka gyaani salaah lena hai, jo unke logon ko diya gaya tha jab unhe zarooratmand ko dekhbhaal karne ko kaha gaya tha: “Dekho yeh sab baate vivek aur vyavastha ke anusaar ki jaani chahiye.” 13
Bahano, hum jaante hai ki Prabhu pasand karta hai auron ki madad karna. In dharamshaastra ke aadeshon ke vishay mein socho:
“Jo pardesi tumhare sang rahe woh tumhare liye desi ke samaan ho, aur unse apne hi samaan prem rakhna.” 14
“Pahunaai karna na bhulna: kyunki iske dwara kitno ne anjaane swargduton ki pahunaai ki hai.”15
Aur Uddhaarkarta ne kaha:
“Kyunki mai bhuka tha, aur tumne mujhe khaane ko diya: mai pyaasa tha, aur tum ne mujhe paani pilaya: mai pardesi tha, tum ne mujhe apne ghar mein tehraaya:
“Mai nanga tha, tumne mujhe kapde pehnaaye: mai beemaar tha, aur tum ne meri haal pucha.”16
Uddhaarkarta ne us vidhwa ki pyaar se prashansa kiya jiska daan sirf do damdiya thi kyunki usne woh kiya jo uski shakti mein tha.17 Usne Achche Samaritan ka kissa batlaya—jiska ant Unhonne is waakye se kiya “Jaa, aur tu bhi aysa hi kar.”18 Kabhi kabhi madad karne se asuvidha hoti hai. Magar jab hum ek saath kaam karenge prem aur ekta se, hum swarg ki sahayta ki aasha kar sakte hai.
Parmeshwar ki ek utkrasht beti ke funeral ke daoraan, kisi ne bola ki yeh bahan ne, ek stake Sahayak Sanstha adhyaksh ke rup mein, apne stake ke anye logon ke saath milkar quilt banaye the Kosovo ke peedit logon ko dene ke liye 1990s mein. Aur achche Samaritan ki tarah, unhone apni shakti anusaar kiya jab woh aur uski beti ne quilt se ladi gaadi London se Kosovo chala kar le gayi. Ghar lautne ki raaste mein, use ek spasht dhaarmik prerna mili jo uske hriday mein bas gayi. Woh prerna yeh tha: “Jo tumne kiya hai woh bahut achchi baat hai. Ab ghar jaao, raaste ko paar karo, aur apne padosi ki sewa karo!”19
Funeral mein anye prerna bhare waakye the ki kaise is vishwaasi mahila ne zaroori sahayta ke aadesh ko pehchaana aur uske anusaar kaarye kiya—aur saadhaaran haalaaton mein bhi—apne aas paas ke logon ke liye. Uddharan ke liye, usne kasht mein pade jawaan logon ke liye apna ghar uplabdh kiya kisi bhi ghante par, din ya raat ko.
Mere priye bahanon, hamein Swarg ke Pita ki madad zaroor milegi jab hum apne ghutno par hokar aur divye aadesh maangenge Unke bachchon ke liye. Swarg ke Pita; hamare Uddhaarkarta, Ishu Maseeh; aur Pavitra Aatma tayaar kar sahayta dene ke liye.
Pradhaan Henry B. Eyring ne apna shaktishaali gawahi diya Girjaghar ke mahilaaon ko:
“Swarg ka Pita tumhare vishwaas ke prarthnaaon ko sunnta aur jawaab deta hai jo tum maargdarshana aur madad ke liye karte ho Unke sewa mein.
“Pavitra Aatma tumhare paas bheji jaati hai aur jinki tum dekhbhaal karte ho. Tumhe shakti milegi aur tum prerit hogi apne seema aur sewa dene ke chamta ko jaanne ke liye. Aatma tumhe sahanubhuti dega jab tum chintit rahogi, ‘Kya maine paryaapt kiya hai?’” 20
Jab hum un logon ke “zaroori sahayta ke aadesh” ke baare mein sochte ho jinhe hamari zaroorat hai, aao hum khud se puchein, “Kaisa hota agar unki kahani meri kahani hoti?” Iske baad hi hamein prerna dhoondhna hai, praapt huwe jhalkiyon ko amal mein laana hai, aur ekta ke saath aage badhe aur zarooratmando ki madad karein jaise shakti aur prerna ho hamari. Shaayad tab hamare baare mein kaha jaaega, jaise Uddhaarkarta ne ek pyaari bahan ke baare mein kaha jisne Unki sewa ki: “Usne to mere saath bhalaai ki hai. … Jo kuch woh kar saki usne kiya.”21 Mai ise vishesh kehta hoon! Ishu Maseeh ke naam se, amen.
