Ko e Ongoongolelei Taʻengatá

Ko e ongoongolelei taʻengatá … naʻe ʻikai ʻiloʻi ia kae ʻoua kuo fakahā ia ʻe he ʻEikí mei he langí ʻi he leʻo ʻo ʻene ʻāngeló, pea ʻi heʻetau maʻu ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení mo nau nofo maʻu ʻiate kitautolú, te tau toki maʻu leva ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e moʻui taʻengatá.1

Ko hono moʻoní, fakatatau mo e lau ʻa e taha ʻo e kau ākonga ʻo e kuonga muʻá, ʻokú ne “fakahā ʻi he māmá ʻa e moʻuí mo e moʻui taʻe faʻamaté,” [vakai, 2 Tīmote 1:10] ʻo ne ʻomi kitautolu ke tau feohi mo e ʻOtuá, mo teuteuʻi kitautolu ki he hakeakiʻi ʻi he maama taʻengatá.3

ʻOku fokotuʻu ʻe he Ongoongoleleí ni ʻa e tangatá ke fetuʻutaki mo e ʻOtua ko ʻene Tamai Hēvaní; ʻoku fakahā ʻe he Ongoongoleleí ni ʻi he māmá ʻa e moʻuí mo e moʻui taʻe faʻamaté; ʻoku malangaʻi ʻa e Ongoongoleleí ni ki he lelei ʻa e tangata kotoa pē ʻi he tapa kotoa ʻo e māmaní. … Ko ha pōpoaki ia ʻo e fakamoʻui ki he ngaahi puleʻanga kotoa he māmaní. … ʻOku tokanga ʻa e ʻOtuá ki he tuʻunga lelei ʻa e fāmili kotoa ʻo e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá, pea koeʻuhí ko e ʻuhingá ni kuó Ne fokotuʻu ai ha ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻi he māmaní ʻa ia ne muʻaki ʻi ai ʻi he langí—ko ha Ongoongoleleí ne ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo e ngaahi ʻOtuá ʻi he ngaahi maama taʻengatá, ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ne faʻufaʻu ke ne hiki hake, fakamolumaluʻi pea mo hakeakiʻi ʻa e fāmili ʻo e tangatá.4

Ko e ongoongoleleí ʻoku taʻengata mo taʻeliliua.

Pea ʻoku ou tui, kapau ʻe hā mai ki māmani ʻi he kuongá ni ʻa e Kāingalotu ne fetuʻutaki mo Ia ʻi he ngaahi kuonga muʻá, te nau kei ʻilo ʻa e faʻahinga founga fetuʻutaki tatau pē, ʻa e founga tatau pē ʻo hono vahevahe ʻo e ʻiló, pea mo e tokotaha taʻe liliu ko ia ne moʻui ʻi he taʻu ʻe 1,800, taʻu ʻe 4,000, pe taʻu ʻe 6,000 kuo hilí.

Ko ia ʻe tui mo papitaisó, ʻe moʻui; ka ko ia ʻe ʻikai tuí, ʻe malaʻia. Pea ko e ngaahi fakaʻilonga ʻeni ʻe hoko kiate kinautolu ʻoku tuí; Te nau kapusi ʻa e kau tēvoló ʻi hoku huafá; te nau leaʻaki ʻa e ngaahi lea foʻou; Te nau toʻo hake ʻa e ngaahi ngatá; pea kapau te nau inu ha meʻa fakamate, ʻe ʻikai kovi ia kiate kinautolu: te nau hilifaki nima ki he mahakí, pea te nau moʻui” [Maʻake 16:15–18] …
