Ko e Faaitaha ʻi he Ngāue ʻa Kalaisí

Ngaahi kaungāmeʻa, ʻoku mou ʻiloʻi ʻa e meʻa ʻoku ou ʻiloʻí—ʻoku fuʻu lahi ʻa e faiangahalá mo e hōloa ʻa e tuʻunga fakaeangamaʻa ʻi he māmani ʻo onopōní pea ʻokú ne uesia e tokotaha kotoa pē, kae tautautefito ki he toʻu tupú, ʻoku hangē ʻoku ʻalu pē ʻa e ʻahó mo ʻene toe kovi angé. ʻOku lahi e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku tau hohaʻa ki ai ʻo fekauʻaki mo e mafola ʻo e ponokalafí mo e masivá, ngaohikoviá mo e fakatōtamá, ngaahi maumaufono fakasekisuale taʻefakalaó (tatau pē ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo e tangata mo e fefine pe ko e tangata mo e tangata, pe fefine mo e fefine), fetāʻakí, lea taʻefeʻungá, fakamamahí, mo e ngaahi ʻahiʻahí, he ʻoku hangē ʻoku nau ofi mai pē ʻo tatau mo e telefoni toʻotoʻo ho ʻofefiné pe ko e iPad ho fohá.

ʻOku ʻi ai ʻetau totonu ʻi he meʻá ni ke tau loto-toʻa mo tui, he “kuo kau ʻa e ʻOtuá maʻatautolu, pea ko hai ʻe angatuʻu kiate kitautolu?” (Loma 8:31).

ʻOku mou tauhi mo malanga, akonaki mo ngāue ʻi he loto falala ko iá, ʻo tatau pē mo au.

ʻOku ʻikai ke faʻa vā lelei maʻu pē ʻa e kau ʻevangelioó mo e Kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí. Talu mei hono fakahaaʻi lototoʻa ʻe he kiʻi talavou ko Siosefa Sāmitá ʻi he kamataʻanga ʻo e senituli 19 ʻa e maʻu fakahā fakaofo naʻá ne maʻu ʻi heʻene kei tupu haké, mo e ʻikai ke toe fuʻu māfana ʻa e feohí.

Ka ʻi he taimi tatau, ʻoku ngali kehe—ka ʻoku ou tui ko e konga ʻeni ʻo ha fokotuʻutuʻu fakalangi ʻo ha ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hoko ʻi he ngaahi taimi faingataʻá ni—kuo fakatahataha mai ai ha kau mataotao ʻi he akó mei he Siasi LDS, kau ʻevangelioó mo e kau taki faka-siasí talu mei he konga ki mui ʻo e 1990 ʻa ia ʻoku ou pehē ʻoku hoko ia ko ha fepōtalanoaʻaki fakalotu ʻoku fakatupu fakakaukau mo ʻaonga foki. Ko ha feinga moʻoni ke maʻu ʻa e mahinó mo toʻo atu ʻa e ngaahi talatupuʻá mo e ngaahi maʻu halá ʻi he ongo tafaʻakí fakatouʻosi, ko ha ngāue ʻo e ʻofa ʻoku ongoʻi mo ueʻi e niʻihi ʻoku kau ki aí ke nau ʻiloʻi ʻoku ʻi ai ha mālohi ʻoku ʻikai lava ke mamata ki ai ʻoku loloto mo lahi ange ia ʻi he feohi fakalotu angamahení.

Naʻe fuofua fakahoko ʻi he ʻUnivēsiti Pilikihami ʻIongí ʻa e ngaahi fepōtalanoaʻaki ko ʻení ʻi he faʻahitaʻu failau ʻo e 2000. Naʻe fakakaukau ha niʻihi ʻo e Kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí: ʻOku pehē nai ʻe he “kau tama” ko ʻeé ko e ngaahi fepōtalanoaʻaki ko ʻení ko “ʻahiʻahi” ia ke maʻu ha tuʻunga ʻi he timi lotu faka-Kalisitiané? Ko ha feinga lahi nai ʻeni ke “fakaleleiʻi” ʻa e tui faka-Māmongá, ke ngaohi ia ke hangē ko e kau Kalisitiane anga mahení, mo ala tali ange ʻe he kakai taʻetuí?

Ne ʻi ai ha fehuʻi naʻe toutou ʻohake ʻe he ongo tafaʻakí fakatouʻosi pe ko e hā e lahi ʻo e “teolosia hala” ʻe lava ʻe he ʻaloʻofa ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻo totongi huhuʻí? Naʻe ʻikai fuoloa mei aí, kuo hoko e ngaahi meʻá ni ko e konga ia ʻo e fepōtalanoaʻakí, pea kamata leva ke molia atu e fefusiakí.

ʻI hono ʻiloʻi ko ia ʻoku kehe ʻaupito ʻa e fakatuʻutuʻunga mo e fokotuʻutuʻu ʻo e Kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí mei he ngaahi lotu fakaʻevangeliō ʻo e māmaní, ʻoku teʻeki ke kau ha fakafofonga fakaʻofisiale ʻo e Siasí ʻi he ngaahi fepōtalanoaʻakí ni, pea kuo teʻeki ha fakamatala fakasiasi ki ai. Te mau vēkeveke ke fetakinima mo homau kaungāmeʻa fakaʻevangelioó ʻi ha feinga faka-Kalisitiane fakataha ke fakamālohia e ngaahi familí mo e nofo malí, ke teke e mītiá ke angamaʻa ange, ke fai ha feinga tokoni ʻofa fakaetangata ʻi he ngaahi taimi ʻo e ngaahi fakatāmaki fakaenatulá, ke fakahoko ha ngāue ki he ngaahi faingataʻaʻia ʻa e masivá, pea ke fakapapauʻi ʻa e tauʻatāina ke lotú ke fakangofua ai kitautolu kotoa ke tau lava ʻo lea ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku kau ki he fakakaukau faka-Kalisitiane fekauʻaki mo e ngaahi kaveinga fakasōsiale ʻo hotau kuongá. ʻI he ʻuhinga fakamuimui ko ʻení kuo pau ke ʻoua naʻa ʻi ai ha ʻaho kuo tapui ai koe pe ko au pe ko ha faifekau fakapotopoto ʻi he fonuá ni ke malanga ʻaki mei he tuʻunga malangá ʻa e tokāteline ʻoku tau pehē ʻoku moʻoní. ʻE lava pē ke hoko ʻa e ʻaho ko iá ʻi he hoko e ngaahi meʻa fakapolitikalé mo e ngaahi fakafeʻatungia fakalao ʻoku lolotonga hokó, tautautefito ki he toputapu ko ia ʻo e nofomalí, ʻe lava pē ke hoko mai ʻa e ʻaho ko iá tuku kehe kapau te tau fakahoko ha ngāue pau ke taʻofi ʻaki ia.2

Kae kehe, ʻoku tau akoʻi kuo pau ke te mateuteu ke tali e ngaahi meʻaʻofa ko iá ʻaki hono fakahā mo fakahoko e “tui ki he ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí” (Ngaahi Tefito ʻo e Tui 1:4)—ʻo falala mo fakafalala ki he “ngaahi ngāue māʻoniʻoni, mo e ʻaloʻofa, mo e manavaʻofa ʻa e Mīsaia Māʻoniʻoní” (2 Nīfai 2:8; vakai foki 2 Nīfai 31:19; Molonai 6:4).
