Naʻá Ne haʻele mai mei he langí ke nofo ʻi he māmaní ʻi Heʻene hoko ko ha tangata matelié pea mo fokotuʻu ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá. Naʻe hanga ʻe Heʻene ongoongolelei nāunauʻiá ʻo liliu e fakakaukau ʻa e mamaní.”3 Naʻe fakahā ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻa ʻEne ongo ki hono fatongiá ʻi he taimi naʻá Ne folofola ai, “Kuó u haʻu ki he māmaní ke fai ʻa e finangalo ʻo ʻeku Tamaí” (3 Nīfai 27:13). Te tau lava ʻo fakahoko ha lelei lahi ʻo kapau te tau faʻa tokanga mo ʻiloʻi e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hokó pea kapau te tau ngāue ʻo fakatatau ki he ngaahi ueʻi fakalaumālie ʻoku tau maʻú.”6

Ko Hono Ako ke Fakahoko Hotau Fatongiá

Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Monisoni, “ʻI heʻetau muimui ʻi he ngaahi ʻahó ni ki [he] sīpinga [ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí], ʻe lava ke tau toe maʻu ai ha faingamālie ke faitāpuekina e moʻui ʻa e niʻihi kehé. ʻOku fakaafe mai ʻa Sīsū kiate kitautolu ke tau foaki: ‘Vakai, ʻoku fie maʻu ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e loto mo e ʻatamai fie faí.’”7

ʻOkú ne tui ko e fakakaumeʻá ʻokú ne fakafaingofuaʻi ʻa e tauhi ʻo e niʻihi kehé. Naʻá ne pehē “ʻOku tokanga lahi ange ʻa e kaungāmeʻa leleí ke tokoniʻi ʻa e kakaí kae ʻikai ko ʻene maʻu ha lāngilangí. ʻOku tokanga ʻa e kaungāmeʻá. ʻOku ʻofa ʻa e kaungāmeʻá. ʻOku fakafanongo ʻa e kaungāmeʻá. Pea ʻoku ala atu ʻa e kaungāmeʻá ke tokoni.”9

Naʻá ne kole ki he tokotaha kotoa pē ne tākiekina ʻe he moʻui ʻa Palesiteni Uinitaá ke nau tuʻu hake ki ʻolunga. Ko hono olá naʻe fuʻu fakafiefia. Naʻe fakahā ʻe Palesiteni Monisoni ki he fakatahaʻangá, ʻa ia ko e tokolahi ai naʻa nau loʻimataʻia, “ʻOku ʻikai ngata pē hono fakasino mai ʻe he tokolahi ko ʻení ʻa e ngaahi loto fakafoʻituituí, ka ʻoku kau ai mo e fakahoungaʻi ki he ʻOtuá ʻo ha moʻui ʻaonga moʻoni.”10

Ko e Fakamoʻoni ʻa Hotau Palōfitá ki he Fatongiá

“Te tau lava ʻo fefakamālohiaʻaki; he ʻoku tau malava ʻo fakatokangaʻi ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku ʻikai faʻa fakatokangaʻí. Ko e taimi ʻoku tau maʻu ai ha mata ʻoku mamatá, ha telinga ʻoku fanongo mo ha loto ʻokú ne ʻilo mo ongoʻí, te tau lava leva ʻo tokoni pea mo fakahaofi kinautolu ʻoku fakafatongia ʻaki kitautolú.”12

“ʻOku ʻikai ha taha ʻiate kitautolu ʻoku nofo tuēnoa—ʻi hotau koló, hotau puleʻangá, pe ʻi he māmaní. ʻOku ʻikai ha ʻā vahevahe ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo ʻetau tuʻumālié mo e masivesiva ʻa hotau kaungā ʻapí.”13

“ʻOku ʻi ai ha ngaahi vaʻe ke fokotuʻu maʻu, nima ke pukepuke, ʻatamai ke poupouʻi, loto ke tataki fakalaumālie pea mo ha moʻui ke fakahaofi.”14

“Mahalo pē ʻi he taimi te tau fehangahangai ai mo e Fakamoʻuí, he ʻikai ke Ne fehuʻi mai, ‘Ko e ngaahi fatongia ʻe fiha naʻá ke fua?’ ka ko e, ‘Ko e kakai ʻe fiha naʻá ke tokoniʻí?’”15

“ʻI heʻetau moʻui fakaʻahó, ʻoku tau ʻilo ai ha ngaahi faingamālie lahi ke muimui ʻi he sīpinga ʻa e Fakamoʻuí. ʻI he taimi ʻoku feongoongoi ai hotau lotó mo ʻEne ngaahi akonakí, ʻoku tau ʻiloʻi ʻa e ofi mai ʻo ʻEne tokoni fakalangí. ʻOku meimei hangē nai ʻoku tau fai e fekau ʻa e ʻEikí; pea tau ʻiloʻi leva ai, ʻi he taimi ʻoku tau fai ai e fekau ʻa e ʻEikí, ʻoku ʻi ai ʻetau totonu ki he tokoni ʻa e ʻEikí.”16

“ʻI heʻetau ako, tui, pea mo muimui kiate Iá, ʻoku tau maʻu ai ha faingamālie ke hoko ʻo hangē ko Iá. ʻE lava pē ke liliu [hotau] fōtungá, lava ke fakavaivaiʻi mo e lotó; ʻe lava pē ke fakavaveʻi ange ʻetau laká; pea mo fakaleleiʻi hotau faingamālie ki he kahaʻú. Pea aʻusia ʻe he moʻuí ʻa e tuʻunga ʻoku tonu ke ʻi aí.”17
