“Ko e moʻoni kuó ne toʻo kiate ia ʻa ʻetau ngaahi vaivaí ʻo ne fua ʻetau ngaahi mamahí.

“Ka naʻe lavea ia koeʻuhí ko ʻetau ngaahi angahalá naʻe fakavolu ia koeʻuhí ko ʻetau ngaahi hiá: … pea ʻi hono ngaahi taá ʻoku tau moʻui ai. …

“… ʻOku tataki ia ʻo hangē ko e lami ke tāmateʻi, pea hangē ko e sipi ʻoku noa ʻi he ʻao ʻo e tangata kosí, pea naʻe ʻikai mafaʻa hono fofongá.

“Naʻe ʻave ia mei he fale fakapōpulá, pea mei he fakamāú. …

“Pea naʻe tuʻutuʻuni hono tanuʻangá mo e kakai angahalá, pea fakataha mo e maʻumeʻá ʻi heʻene pekiá; koeʻuhí naʻe ʻikai te ne fai kovi, pea naʻe ʻikai ha kākā ʻi hono fofongá” (ʻĪsaia 53:3–5, 7–9).

Naʻe fakahoko ʻa e ngāue ko iá ʻi Heʻene hāʻele ʻo fakahoko Hono misiona ʻi he māmaní. ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻa e aofangatuku ʻo e misiona ko iá ʻi he ngaahi lea maʻongoʻonga ko ʻení:

“Naʻá ku haʻu ki hoku kakaí, ka naʻe ʻikai tali au ʻe hoku kakaí. Pea ko e ngaahi folofola ʻoku kau ki heʻeku haʻú kuo fakahoko ia.

“Pea ko kinautolu kotoa pē naʻa nau tali aú, kuó u tuku kiate kinautolu ke nau hoko ko e ngaahi foha ʻo e ʻOtuá; pea ʻe pehē foki ʻeku foaki ʻa e totonu kiate kinautolu kotoa pē ʻa ia ʻe tui ki hoku hingoá, he vakai, ʻoku fou ʻiate au ʻa e huhuʻí, pea ʻoku ʻiate au hono fakahoko ʻo e fono ʻa Mōsesé” (3 Nīfai 9:16–17).

ʻE fakahoko ʻEne talaʻofa ko ia ke tau lava ʻo hoko ko Hono ngaahi foha mo e ngaahi ʻofefiné ʻi heʻetau tui kiate Ia, falala mo talangofua kiate ia. Te tau toki mateuteu leva ke tali ʻa e meʻaʻofa ʻo e moʻui taʻengatá.

Ko ha founga ʻe taha ko hano fai e ngaahi talanoa hangē ko ia ʻo Sione Ueitimení (John Weightman) ʻi he The Mansion [Ko e Falé].

Ko Sione Ueitimaní ko ha taha moʻumoʻua ia naʻá ne maʻu e tokangá mo ʻiloa ʻi heʻene ngaahi foaki ʻofá. ʻI ha efiafi ʻe taha, hili haʻane lau ha fokotuʻunga pepa naʻe kosi mei he nusipepá ʻoku fakahīkihikiʻi ai ia ʻi heʻene foakí, naʻá ne toʻo hake ʻa ʻene Tohi Tapú. Naʻe vave ʻene mohé hili haʻane lau e folofola ʻa e Fakamoʻuí: “ʻOua ʻe fokotuʻu maʻamoutolu ʻa e koloá ʻi māmani, ʻa ia ʻoku kai ai ʻe he ʻané mo e ʻumeʻumeá, pea ʻoku haeʻi ʻe he kau kaihaʻá ʻo kaihaʻasí” (Mātiu 6:19).

Naʻe fakatokangaʻi ʻe Sione ʻi heʻene mohé ʻoku ʻi he “kolo fakahēvaní,” ʻoku kaungā fononga mo ha niʻihi kehe ʻi heʻenau maʻu honau falé. Ko e taimi naʻe tuʻu ai ʻa e Tauhi ʻo e Matapaá ʻi muʻa ʻi ha kiʻi fale naʻe langa ʻaki e ngaahi nāunau motuʻá, naʻá ne talaange leva kia Sione, “Ko ho falé ʻeni.”

Naʻe lāunga ʻa Sione, mo ne fakalau atu ʻene ngaahi foaki lahi ʻi he ʻao e kakaí.
